Description
This early product of Zoo-phonics uses different decks with sets of pairs of cards. One deck has 26 pairs for each letter of the alphabet, along with the name of the animal assigned to that letter, e.g. Allie Alligator, Honey Horse, Vincent Vampire Bat. Another deck has 40 pairs of 2- or 3-letter blends and digraphs.
The three games are adaptations of traditional childrens' games: Zoophonia (Old Maid, except the one with the Zoophonia card wins); Zoo-Fish (Go Fish), and Zoo-Memory (Memory). The alphabet deck also says it can be used for spelling games. Whenever cards are requested or matches made, the player must say the card's animal name, make its sound, and do its sign according to the Zoo-phonics kinesthetic system.
