Zoondo Bôplato

Game ID: GID0399444
Collection Status
Description

Zoondo Bôplato consist of a real playing board (not a paper board) and 8 new "terrain" cards for Zoondo.

There are 2 copies of each of the 4 types of terrain cards: Bananane, Dolwomen, Trempneu, and Glotrou.

Rules: Each player chooses 1 to 3 terrain cards from the face-down pile and places each one face-down on an open cell of the battlefield—without looking at the card.

During play, when a Zoon moves onto a cell with a terrain card, that player chooses one of the corners—each card has two "success" and two "failure" corners. If an enemy Zoon already occupies the cell, nothing happens.

Bananane (associated with the Monkus):

Success: You can move your Zoon onto any cell adjacent to the Bananane
Failure: Your opponent can move your Zoon onto any cell adjacent to the Bananane

Dolwomen (associated with the Boarix):

Success: Your Zoon stops on the Dolwomen. As long as it remains on the Dolwomen, it gets +1 on its corners
Failure: Your Zoon reverses course in front of the Dolwomen, similar to a fight ending in a draw (see rules: If your fight ends in a draw, your Zoon moves backward from the opponent one space in the direction from which it came)

Trempneu (associated with the Rhinogoths):

Success: You can move your Zoon according to the grid shown on the Trempneu card
Failure: Your Zoon stops on the Trempneu

Glotrou (associated with the Warus):

Success: Nothing happens
Failure: Your Zoon stops on the Glotrou and is flipped to its visible side. It can’t move and it fights with its visible side showing. You must use a complete move to flip your Zoon back to its hidden side
