"Zulu, Battle of Isandhlwana" is a game that simulates the battle between British imperial forces and Zulu warriors on January 22nd, 1879 in Zululand, and area northeast of what is today the Republic of South Africa. This battle is known as the worst disaster suffered by colonial troops in a confrontation against native forces.

This DTP publication by Luis Carreño Joicey, deals with the history of the battle and includes a detailed simulation of the conflict which will help to better understand what happened.

One player plays the with the British side and the other with the Zulu side, if there are two players. Additional players may take command of individual Zulu formations (the "horns", "chest" and "loins").

The basic game serves only to as an introduction and to let players familiarize themselves with with the rules; players should use the advanced rules for a more complete game.
