The game is about collecting "sets" of candy-shaped cards. A set consists of four candies that share the same color and pattern but differ in shape: triangle, square, circle, and star. There are 12 possible sets in the game.
Each player starts with seven cards, and on their turn, they ask another player for a specific card (e.g., "blue striped square"). If the opponent has it, they must hand it over. The player continues asking until they make an incorrect guess, then they draw from the deck, and the next player goes. Special "Amnyamchik" cards let players request any candy of the same color from another player.
The game ends when all cards are played, and the player with the most complete sets wins. A simplified version for children reduces the number of sets in play.
