This is an introductory action game to the Fantasy Battles system. The system uses actual firing devices, similar to Crossbows and Catapults.
Players roll a die for actions and use them to either move pieces or fire. Any soldier that is knocked down is eliminated from the game. Players can also move their soldiers into contact with the enemy and fight melees. Players can also use magic cards to assist them.
The attacker can win by capturing the enemy's flag or by eliminating all soldiers. To prevent this, the defender must eliminate all the attacking soldiers.

The game can be further expanded by adding more armies to the game. There are more than two dozen additional forces that can be added, as well as other boxed sets.
