The game is set in the underwater world of SpongeBob SquarePants, specifically in the Krusty Krab restaurant, where players compete to become the Employee of the Month. To achieve this, they must skillfully prepare burgers according to customer orders while overcoming obstacles, including the mischievous schemes of Plankton.
The game is played over multiple rounds until the order deck runs out. Each round consists of four phases: Preparation, Grill, Kitchen, and Cleanup. Players gather ingredient cards, select and collect necessary ingredients from the grill, and use them to complete burger orders following specific sequence rules. Special cards, such as Plankton’s sabotage actions and ketchup as a wildcard ingredient, add strategic depth. Each character also has a unique skill that can be used once per game.
The goal is to earn the most Victory Points (VP) by fulfilling orders, completing bonus conditions, and collecting ketchup cards. The player with the highest VP at the end is declared the winner and earns the title of Employee of the Month.
