Servants of the Fire Salamander is a typical roll-and-move track type game.

Players begin by placing their token on the starting box. They then roll to see whom goes first and that player rolls the dice and moves the number indicated along the track.

If they land on a red or blue box, they must follow the path it tells them to. This continues through each level of the game.

The winner is the first one to reach square 41 wins the game.

The path has an intricate design, which can send a player in different directions with all sorts of consequences.
