The game is based on the popular Ukrainian TV show "Хто зверху?" ("Who is on top?"), which is an adaptation of Battle of the Sexes. Players compete in a fun, party-style battle of wits and skills, engaging in various challenges to determine which team will come out on top. While traditionally divided by gender, teams can be formed in any way to maximize enjoyment.
The game consists of six rounds, each featuring different mini-games that test players' creativity, knowledge, and teamwork. Examples of challenges include assembling words using lettered finger caps, guessing words by lip-reading, identifying famous people by asking yes/no questions, and arranging items in the correct order. There are also truth-or-lie storytelling rounds and physical challenges where players must answer trivia while performing tasks like squats. Each round is timed, and teams earn points based on their performance. The team with the lowest score after each round gets a chance to answer a bonus question for extra points.
The goal is to accumulate the most points by successfully completing the challenges. At the end of the game, the team with the highest score is declared the winner, answering the game’s central question: Who is on top?
