Description
Once every ten years, vampires gather in a town in the far north.
On the night of the great gathering to decide how to treat the humans, an incident was discovered just before the opening of the gathering.
What was found was a charred, blackened corpse. The number two vampire of one of the two opposing factions had been destroyed. Which was the victim? The higher ranking vampires glaring at each other. The newcomers are trying to solve the case for a hidden purpose. Vampire hunters' traps are hidden in plain sight. And the shadow of an old vampire from the distant past.
