ひゃっぴきいっしゅ (Hyappiki Isshu) (Animal Karuta) is a Japanese card game for children.

In this varation on the classic karuta game Hyakunin Isshu, historical personages are replaced with color-coded animals. There are two ways to play: either with a group like normal karuta, or as an intense head-to-head battle for two.
