マジカルカナグル (Magical Ka Naguru)

マジカルカナグル (Magical Ka Naguru) is a two player card game from Japan. The players are fighting a magical battle, but use bluff and deception as well and magic and weapons.

Each player starts by constructing a deck for the battle. Then the players take turns by playing a card face-down and declaring what the card is. But the player can lie, and trick their opponent into wasting a good defence, whilst striking them with a staff.

But failing to bluff well can result in a harsh counterattack. If the other player responds with a weapon, the staff is useless and the player takes a hit.

The players continue taking turns until one is defeated.
