Description

俺の鍋 (Ore no nabe) is a card game from japan, with players putting together special meals. Nabe is the Japanese version of a hotpot, so the game is My Hotpot.

Each player is dealt a Nabe card and a Dashi card (Dashi being the base stock used in much cooking in Japan.) Players then start drawing ingredient cards and try to form a new dish.

The Nabe has a certain capacity shown by icons, and the dashi has certain characteristics that must be matched. Players need to combine new ingredients that fit the Dashi, but do not go bust on the Nabe card.

Once everyone has formed their new recipt, they are all turned up to be inspected. Players discuss what a meal might be like. The meal with the largest gap left in the Nabe is eliminated (the chef didn't try to fulfil the meal). Then there is a voting round to select the best recipe. The recipe most most attractive wins, and players try another round.
