最善, roughly translated as "Best", is a trick-taking game where hands are only dealt once, and the conditions of the game will be adjusted by the players as the game progresses - and are specific to the suit being led.
In general, larger numbers are stronger, nothing special happens if the same ranks are played, you must follow, and you must play to win. Players earn one point per trick.
However, at the start of each round, a player can irrevocably shift these conditions for a specific suit. For instance, if spades is led, the trick could become may follow. If hearts is lead, and two players play the same rank, it may trigger those players to play extra cards.
After one hand is complete, the hands are passed to the player on the right and another round is played.
