thank you some viewers may find the following video disturbing viewer discretion is advised hey everyone welcome back to board games unlocked and today I am playing astronauts and I am doing this solo so that means it's just gonna be me and him him and me and we're gonna be duking it out for the fate of uh quarris I guess is the uh Homeworld name um I have chosen to play gavril he looks like he could uh whoop some ass so uh let's learn a little bit about him shall we uh Gabriel he's a soldier from the planet of chorus so yeah this furion going down specialty is early damage and late damage so middle of this game I will be doing nothing comments gavril was originally a general in the red line militia of chorus he was beloved by his subordinates for his Fierce loyalty and refusal to ever to ever to ever leave a soldier behind uh probably meant to be endeavor it was that fiery spirit that got him into trouble on the battlefield more often than not it's rarely a wise tactic for a general to storm an enemy encampment alone for the sake of a few captured foot soldiers but for an Astron Knight that kind of fire is just what I'm looking for a leadership position may not be in the cards for Gabriel but there's no one I trust more to give everything he has to protect his fellow Knights yeah I mean what's one what's one life anyway like
he just values everyone but yeah better not make him a leader yeah compassion that's a joke uh especially if you've ever had a manager that was a only they only care about the company but I will be going up against furion and furion Scouting Report furion is one of the most dangerous collections of sentient star stuff that's side of Alpha Centauri when the nebula Court the center for Iran began to collapse in on itself the creature began to Rampage it used its intense gravitational pull to steal some of the deadliest artillery it could find across the Galaxy the longer this fight goes on the faster those weapons are going to charge and you don't want to be on the wrong side of them when they do hit fast and hit hard and keep fury on and it's bloodthirsty followers from getting too big to handle okay can do I am playing on normal difficulty because I'm not a psychopath and uh currently at level one so yeah not doing expert or nightmare because that would just be quite insane and uh Gabriel's special ability is I can activate during my main phase deal three damage and then I crease that damage by one for each weapon in my discard pile now if you're uh if you're not aware uh astronauts is basically space themed aeon's end and aeon's end is something I have literally everything for so um so we'll see how astronaut Stacks up
quarris has a special ability to activate during any player's main phase deal four damage then deal two damage okay that is not not bad at all there's a lot of cards here uh these are basically kind of individual decks you if you're familiar with aeon's end you kind of have the relics over here then the two uh then the gems and then the different spells but so we have fuel uh so more expensive fuel cheaper fuel then we have our text then we have cheaper weapon mid uh mid weapon and then most expensive weapon so uh yeah before I even look at any of my stuff let's go ahead and see whose turret it is and wow right off the gate it is the it's the boss turn oh she all should go over what they do furion at the end of the boss turned if the artillery track is at three or higher perform the following drawn resolved the top card of the artillery deck then place it in the artillery discard pile then decrease the track by three and repeat until it is a less than three so if it's over at nine basically it'll do it'll do three artillery in a row and uh because I'm playing purely solo I have just one Knight fighting I do not lose when I'm exhausted so there's he has something whenever if I do become exhausted uh but yeah I just have I don't lose the game when I'm exhausted but I do lose the game if chorus uh if chorus goes down to zero or
if uh if he can't level up so while the boss is going so that's pretty great uh resolving nothing uh nothing here no activate effects um so that is pretty much that so we will do his one of his cards and it is a minion the Titan Land Rover that's actually really uh that's I like that art if you hopefully you guys can see it but it is a minion with four Health one two three four and it has an activate uh it has when Titan Land Rover is defeated destroy it gladly activate any player suffers two damage well hopefully that is it uh so and the boss is not going again oh wow okay well the good news is I'm going three times in a row but yeah so let's resolve that I will just suffer two damage that's pretty cool pretty cool and then we will draw this so it is an unrelenting Onslaught the Homeworld suffers three damage and I increase the artillery Track by one okay well thought I was gonna uh suffer three damage so down to 25.
25. well that was neat and I think uh we'll just go ahead and take my wonderful turns three times in a row it is me I have three fuel a rocket Gauntlet and a blaster so I have two slots so I will slot my rocket Gauntlet and my blaster okay and then I have three power cores so I'm gonna try I'm not gonna be able to show like every single card but three power cores uh so I could buy I could hold on to one and or I could buy that weapon I really do like weapons this if I buy the Solaris cell that's probably good because when I buy it the Homeworld Powers up and then I gain two whenever I use in the future so what I will do is I will spend two power cores to buy the Solaris cell which will go straight to my Discord pile but since I bought it the home world will power up and then we have a Hyperion anomaly gain two energy if you have your maximum number of slots gain three energy instead okay that's all right I'ma hold on to this other power core so basically these will just get discarded and then one two three four then I will draw four now I have four power cores and another
Blaster which is pretty good and wow I wonder whose turn it's gonna be is it gonna be mine oh wow it is it is Fury on you got to go in the road now I'm gonna go and the first thing I'm gonna do is rocket Gauntlet I'm going to deal one damage then deal another damage but I can't discard the weapon for my hand to increase that damage by two I will discard the blaster to shoot my rocket into this Titan Land Rover so that's gonna be three total damage I will do four damage to This Land Rover and that just gets destroyed that's just gone and we'll discard those like that and now I have four power cores let's see yeah I definitely think I am going to do three power cores and buy this Repulsor because it deals two damage in the home World gains one Health so buy that Repulsor and then we will flip this over to a face shield attack deal two damage and the Homeworld Powers up that's pretty neat pretty neat then these get discarded and then I drop to five and uh so that's one and oh what's this don't Shuffle don't Shuffle so it's one two three four five hot nah well this could be good that's one two three four five
only I had six but I don't so well last turn now it's gonna be me again I will set that Blaster there and then my Solaris cell and then three power cores I think I am going to buy this phase Shield because I do like that quite a bit and ooh another face shield because I also for my ability I want to have a bunch of weapons so it doesn't do me a whole lot to buy really massive weapons I just want to buy a little and then go for his ability that could type a bunch of weapons in my Discord pile I feel like I can do enough damage but that costs three and then I will spend the other two to power up and I think having my Solaris cell go like that will be good okay so that was that uh now we need to see who's going next I also need to draw up to five and we will Shuffle these turn order cards let's see let's do this let's split it like so and then cut the deck and now we see who goes next probably the boss okay it's not it is me one two three four five let me draw my hand to five real quick to see what I can do oh man okay okay I probably need to start increasing my slot so I can hold
more weapons but first thing I am gonna I will shoot my blaster uh at furion so now he's been hit going down to 59. and then yeah now I only have one power core but Homeward Homeworld has taken some damage I am going to pull out my rocket Gauntlet and my Repulsor and I think I'm gonna hold on to these these cards and then draw two yeah yeah okay cool cool let's have one next I want to be next I'm not next this is the boss it's the boss okay so basically what happens now is uh whenever he has to draw a card and he can't he he levels up and leveling up is something where they just take the next level so he's a level one now he's at level two and instant is minions and play game four Health well there are none so that's great but on the activate now his artillery track is going to start going up and from now on minions will come in with for health and the discard pile so unlike well it doesn't matter it doesn't matter you're not here to listen to me talk about aeon's end but now I just Shuffle this discard file and that will be that will be his turn is uh actually no I think he draws the
card hold on this is kind of somewhat new so when they level up yeah um bosses and remaining level tokens then find the next level okay resolving the instant effects shuffle all cards then draw a card and resolve it okay this ends the boss draw phase cool yep that's what I thought so now I don't really know what's coming in oh the unrelenting on slot God dang it oh that's what I missed okay yeah I forgot to move that up the unrelenting Onslaught which is the he just shooting onto my home world and increasing his artillery so so down to 22.
that is okay now that was his draw now it's my turn so gonna shoot these off uh my rocket Gauntlet then Repulsor I will discard a blaster to increase the damage from my rocket Gauntlet uh by two so that's gonna be three so that's five damage straight into furion so 54 and my Repulsor the Homeworld gains one Health boom just like that go here and I have three well I have a blaster that I can put down at least and then I have three power cores I could buy another Repulsor Shield or face shield so I can just really try and just constantly cycle those huh activating the Osiris thing is pretty good but as I think right now I'm gonna spend my three to increase my slot discard that it's not even my turn what the hell am I doing it was his turn I'm an idiot um he is uh drawing a card and oh uh Derek he's gonna do an activate so he'll actually increase that then do fire support specialist which is a um activate so that's not happening right now but now at the end of his turn he will lower this by three and do a furion artillery deck the player with the lowest health is sync syncotron
Blaster I will take two damage and then let's put that right there well now I do what I was doing and then I'll go again one two three four five getting way ahead of myself you think I would have played this before all right I'm not gonna hold on to because I don't have a Discord plot right now so you know what I will just shoot this um he's gonna come in with 10 Health three four five because he has six one two three four five because now minions enter with plus four health so he has ten health um I will ping him for one all right one two three four five so I have five Shield yeah I think I'm gonna spend all five of this to yeah I kind of like the idea of the face get another face shield so do that and then spend the other two on uh powering up so I can do my ability what is the next one ballistic array equip oh deal one damage just get to ping ping something for one damage and then deal three image that's a pretty good cheap one no so now Shuffle this
so now whenever the fire support specialist is uh when he activates it increases the artillery Track by one and if he if you're on is at level three then I just suffer three damage but he's not he's obviously not at level three right now he is at level two oh okay come on come on have it be me okay it is it is me witch I have my hand of one two three four five will activate my face shield deal two damage I really don't want that artillery to just go off those with just events that I don't feel like dealing with and the home world will power up this is a good hand I'm basically having a pretty solid hand and I can now hold three weapons so one two three my blaster Repulsor and Rocket gauntlet and then I can't do anything with these two but one will be good for my rocket Gauntlet and then in the future so into my turn one two and flip this to make it five good hand right here baby it's a solid hand especially with his the build I'm going for with him so oh it's my turn again well let's go ahead and
fire these off yes one two yeah so I'm gonna do my rocket Gauntlet that's one I will get rid of a blaster uh to make it three damage three four five six damage okay nope this will work six damage now who do I do that to now that's total I could kind of deal three damage to fury on and then some to him which I might do but six damage and I do have a blaster so yeah I I'm gonna deal six damage to the fire support specialist and then I will prep my blaster and I will spend two power cores to increase that because right now one two three I'd have four weapons in my discard pile and I have one two three four I have one more turn to where I can just pump that up use my blaster to put that in here and do a significant amount of damage let's see who's going next it's the boss it's the stupid boss I'll increase the Miller artillery truck by one now it's his turn it's the Titan barrage the player with the most slots offers two damage and discards a card in hand then I increase the artillery track except for two damage uh and I discard a card in hand
Titan barrage well uh I guess I'll discard a oh hold on that would be one two three four and then five I could discard this weapon actually it's a phase Shield no no getting the Aquarius powered up is better so I will discard the power core okay it's his turn is turn again that's going up and then he has a Titan mounted Cannon ew the Homeworld suffers for damage but to that 19.
and they start dealing more damage to him uh but end of his turn he does have three artillery void charge mortar Homeworld suffers two damage and I suffer one that is a lot so down to 17 how about three health
neat oh and every time he activates actually artillery goes up by one so yeah that would be it would have put a four well now it should be my turn yeah and I will deal one damage to the fire support specialist that will go into the discard file but prep a face shield I will then do my Solaris cell to increase my power by two and then nothing else costs two but what I can do is then activate my gavril ability so deal three damage and then increase that damage by one for each weapon in my discard pile so one two three four five so that is eight total damage right at fury on putting him to 46.
that's a lot of damage and then uh I will spend the other two power cores to bump up my ability again so now that's one two three four five that felt good that felt good if I lose doesn't matter I punched him in the face and yeah I mean I have a solid turn around I just have to make sure that I have no real way of healing uh chorus but that's okay we don't need to heal it like the person who did my my report said who cares about a few foot soldiers or at this point who cares about a few civilians just uh yeah why would you not make him a leader that's so stupid I don't trust anyone more what uh doesn't say he was forcing other people to go whatever whatever I hope the bot I hope it's the boss's turn it's not it's my turn which that's fine because face shield baby two damage so now he's at 44. suck at furyon then the Homeworld Powers up oh would you look at that gonna do that right now four damage then two damage that's six damage going to 38.
not even gonna worry about minions they're a joke because now I'm gonna go boom rocket Gauntlet Repulsor then face shield again and that's all I can do so one two three so I could potentially do another mass of massive damage oh yeah oh yeah oh yeah he's gonna he's gonna eat it yep it's my turn again rocket Gauntlet Repulsor and face shield gonna pop those bad boys off gonna discard a blaster to do the rocket Gauntlet so that will be three four five six seven damage seven damage right to furyon so 31 is where he is at and then Homeworld will gain a power up and it will gain a health and these will come down poser is really cool there and then I have one more Blaster and I will spend two power cores to increase that one two three four yes this is yes I have just enough to do my ability again man if I go next it's gonna be nasty ooh
well it sucks about that he's gonna go twice in a row uh and hopefully but I will pop my blaster hit him for one knocking him down two Thirty Thirty and then I will prep another Blaster do my Solaris cell and two power cores to increase my power so then I'm going to use that that's going to be three four five six seven eight nine damage knocking him down to 21.
tell that's how that went so it's pretty cool and yeah so that's there but then we'll draw it's one two three four five nope there we go
I like this oh yeah I do I certainly do now see what happens yeah cause I have to survived two two barrages of this okay so there is an activate increase the artillery Track by one then I will draw it's a thermion barricade increased air tiller Track by one any player suffers damage equal to the current value of the artillery track if furion is level two destroy this card he is so I suffer ooh that sucks I suffer three damage which exhausts me uh but the only thing that matters there is that when a player is exhausted increase artillery Track by three ugh oh boy all right and there's no rules about like uh well because I I didn't see any exhausted um does the image and the exhaust player surface damage still twice that's his own world okay just like just like aeon's end that's what I was thinking I just don't remember reading that but okay well now end of his turn it's at three so draw and resolve a fury on artillery Jack the player with the most slots suffers pinpointed torpedo suffers two damage that's gonna be four damage two quarris and then this goes down by three and then it's happening again
anti-particle Shield the player with the most expensive equipped weapon discards that card okay Shuffle this card and all the cards in their artillery discard pile into the artillery deck okay you know and then they go down to okay that that was the second one could have couldn't have been really any any better for me because I had a blaster which was a zero actually doing one damage um okay so now that was that turn
again and there's a potential that he could go two more times in a row which are four times in a row and that is that is not good but boom so boss turn again artillery track goes up one can I get a minion thank you a rage Knight five six seven eight nine that's cool some cool art and I haven't had the shuffle okay but that has an activation of the Homeworld suffering two damage I mean that's not great Homeworld is at half Health now over half health so he said less than less than half healthy at 60.
come on like I can't I can't I don't think I can survive him going four times in a row okay and he's not so I have nothing to pop off which is actually pretty good considering the fact that I can have my rocket Gauntlet my blaster and my face shield there and then I'm gonna spend these two power cores to increase my power it's probably gonna be three four five probably the best that I'm gonna be able to do yeah I have to do some finagling to try and get to get my ability to go off at Max Max ability but oh it's me again okay rocket Gauntlet Blaster and face shield so that's gonna be one my Discord the Blaster to make it three four five six I think I'm gonna Rush him I think I can survive that six damage putting it at 15.
15 Health then Homeworld Powers up put the rocket Gauntlet now actually yeah yeah rocket Gauntlet and that in the blaster Powers up and then I will set oh yeah no no I will set the Repulsor in the face shield because I think I have three cards yeah so I will draw three so that's perfect oh that could not have synced up better it's hot that's hot oh maybe I'll go next if I go next I might win I'm not okay so that's going up then Homeworld suffers two damage we're down to 12. cardigan getting a wrath the Conqueror all right five so nine health activate any player suffers one damage or the players collectively discard two cards if you're on as low as at level two or higher do both then oh oh that sucks okay oh that's I I thought he'd already gone so that's gonna increase because of that Homeworld suffers two damage then any player suffers one damage or the player is collectively discard two cards I can't that that might have just cost me actually well maybe not maybe not okay he's that
little two or higher so I have to do both meaning I can't take two damage so Homeworld will suffer um two damage so it's down to eight and then I have to discard two cards oh you and then we'll draw improvised strike increase the artillery Track by two any player discards the card in hand that cost one or more okay Solaris cell and then end of his turn he will do a Fusion artillery uh furion Starlight Siege engine Homeworld suffers for damage it's down to four and then it's my turn oh how how does it manage to do it okay well that's who three so two so four damage I'm looking it down to 11 and a Homeworld Powers up and then gains the health
wow well yep gotta use this I'm gonna deal six damage to it Knocking it down to five I would have won I would have won I might still win it's not out of the cards but I had exactly six energy in my hand to be able to raise that and that would have been three four five six seven eight nine ten damage that would have been 10 damage oh instead I would play two to increase that I know I haven't bought any texts or anything but
yeah yeah the story card in your hand yeah so one two three four five I don't even know what this next theoretically possible the theoretically possible to uh to win I have to go twice in a row though that's uh that's like right okay geez every time okay well there is that I can prep my rocket gauntlet my blaster and then it has to be another blaster I can do two power cores to bump that one two three four five so if I go if I go I will be able to do three I'll be able to do exactly five damage if he goes if he goes no I I will lose I was like I might I might win uh anyway but no because I actively chose to avoid them the rage
Knight will deal two damage knocking it down to three wrath the Conqueror I have to do both um which means I have to discard two cards and I would suffer one damage but then that's doubled to chorus so it would go down to one but the problem is is this would increase artillery track up to three and no matter what unless this for one of the artilleries for some reason well one of those was getting rid of a card and shuffling everything back in So theoretically I might still win even if he goes but I know for sure I can win if I go so come on baby come on baby yes hell yeah so rocket Gauntlet for one gonna get rid of a blaster to increase that damage by two so one two three four five damage and that is exactly enough to knock furion down to zero and uh I would have been able to actually do my ability anyway I would have done my solar cell increase that pop it off to then do three uh four five six seven seven damage but that was astronauts everyone I hope you enjoyed click the I to go to the discussion other than that like comment share and subscribe and have a wonderful
