Point is, this is a little trick taking game where we are going to be making predictions about which types of gems we are going to collect the most of. The gems are the suits of cards, right? Uh so you're going to make a prediction of what you're going to get the most of, what you're going to collect the least of, and then there's going to be kind of an order and hierarchy of strength of cards, including four supremely powerful cards that beat everything else.

1:09 Uh and so what we're going to do is we're going to show you an overview of how this game is going to work, and we're going to hop right into a three-player play. Let's get mining. In all mind, players are trick- takingaking their way to amazing riches and hoping to predict the treasures they will collect on their journey. The game is played over rounds until each player has been the dealer. At the start of each round, players will predict which types of treasure they will have the most of and which they'll have the least of and there are four suits of cards. Before the game starts, the hierarchy of cards is established and the four super trump cards are created. These will be shown on the mine carts and the number and the suit cards shown will be the most powerful cards in the game and the order of suits shown will determine the strength of each suit in relation to each other. So, for example, in this game, the eight of mushrooms would be the single most powerful card and would win a trick no matter what, as it's the highest suit and the highest super trump card. Once all players have made their predictions, it's time to play cards.

1:55 During a trick, each player will play one card in turn order. Whoever leads a trick will establish a suit and all other players must follow that suit if they are able. If all players play the same suit, the highest card wins, unless someone played a super trump card for that suit. If you don't have the lead suit, you are free to play any card you like. And if you play a card from a more powerful suit than your opponents, you will win the trick even if the value of the card is lower. So this two of dragon egg would beat a 10 and 12 gold because it's a higher suit. If one of the gold cards was a super trump, however, this would supersede the higher suit. The winner trick collects all cards, keeping them face down and stacking them cards in columns by treasure type. They also collect a card from the treasure trove. Play continues like this until all cards have been played. Now we check for our predictions. For each prediction, you see if you are correct. If you have a clear majority of that suit over any other suits, you gain five points. If you tie for the most cards in your predicted suit with another suit you collected, you are correct but imperfect and score three points. For the prediction of which treasure you will score the least in, the same goes.

2:49 A fully correct prediction awards five points and a tie is three points. If you are flatout wrong, you score no points. If both predictions are correct, even if imperfect, you also score points equal to the difference of collected cards of the suits you predicted. After each player has had a chance to deal, the player with the highest score wins. All mine. See, I did that. We had to. Uh, yeah. I'll grab the scoring app here in a minute. What's up, everybody? The two of mushrooms, the one of dragon eggs, and then suits. If we don't have any super trumps, the suit strong strength goes from gem to gold to mushroom to dragon egg. Yeah.

4:11 So, with that said, and you can also see on the backs of cards, you see what suits other people have. I don't know the numbers, but you can like take a look at what people got.
