Age of Bitcoin - Invest smartly in the right assets and riding the crash.
Hello graduates. It's Stella from Mele University and this is Stella's Jordan with preview for age of Bitcoin from four comma game. [Music] The year is crypto future. Bitcoins everywhere. Your coffee machine minds it. Your dog invests in it. and grandma just invested in her first NFT and can't even approximately define what an NFD is.
Now it's your turn to join the ride of crypto mania balancing Bitcoin, gold, investment, and cash in the most volatile market since the knife makers guild had to respond to the invention of sliced bread. Come on, I'll show you how to quadruple your money. But first, a disclaimer. The information in this video relates entirely to the board game Age of Bitcoin and seller and Tarant as a result of providing this information are not engaged in the provision of professional financial advice.
Thanks, Tarant. I got you. The game plays one to four players with mechanics such as commodities, speculation, workup movement, and resource management. The game is of medium complexity. In age of bitcoin plays our investors opportunists for the 2020s buying and selling all type of investments the trustworthy gold and the new and flighty bitcoin riding the wave even manipulating the rise and fall of the price through fomo aka fear of missing out track.
the player who manages the investment diversity the best mainly by investing smartly in gold, Bitcoin, and other investments and even cash. Cash is king. Sure, but whatever you choose, hopefully take advantage of the rise and dodge the crash of the economy to win. The game plays over five rounds split into preparation, action, and cleanup.
I'll talk about the actions first. It's where one player at a time places their mele into one of the action spots, perform its action, then it goes to the next player. You only have one mele, so you move it around the board to take the action until you rest, which is passing for the round. There are five actions plus rest.
One, learning. Boost your experience and trust in each asset. This unlocks higher capacities to hold more of the different investment types. After all, I'm not going to put all of my money in Bitcoin until I've learned enough about it to feel safe. The next three actions are the meat of the game where you buy and sell the three types of investment, hopefully making profits.
One, Bitcoin. Buy low or sell high, ideally as much as you can or panic at a crypto crash. Price based on the board plus or minus the modifier. Two, gold. Buy or sell as much as you can. Invest in shiny stability. Three, investment. Acquire assets that grant per steady income. Pay with cash plus inflation rate.
Each action lets you do one transaction. Either buy or sell as much as you want for gold or Bitcoin or just one card for investments. Whether you buy or sell, the FOMO track increases by one. And this could mean the increase on the assets price or triggering a market crash. Prices rise and fall based on collective fee or enthusiasm.
So, time your moves right. Yes, Bitcoin prices double overnight. I am officially crypto royalty. You mean crypto roller coaster, right? My gold here is steady, dependable, and it won't vanish into thin air. Oh, please. Investing in gold is about as exciting as uh watching paint dry on the wall. Well, at least you know you've got a nice painted wall at the end of it all.
Gold is classy. It's like the evergreen top 100 board games on Board Game Geek. Then Bitcoin is definitely on the hot list of board game geek. Wild, unpredictable, hot, and gets a lot of eyeballs. It sounds stressful. I'd rather sip tea and read the newspaper. Thank you, Tarant. Uh, breaking news. Bitcoin skyrockets again.
Use noose, you lose. Now, who's sipping tea? Then there's mining. Buy computers to mine Bitcoin automatically. The old fashioned way, generating Bitcoin instead of buying it. When you want to pass that round, usually when you cannot afford anything else, you rest. Collect income based on your experience, any income on your investments.
Roll the dice to see if your mining machines generate a bitcoin. The more bitcoin machines you've built, the higher chance you're going to get it. Then start the next round. Refresh some investment cards. Draw breaking news. Event cards. Who knows? Maybe people finally believe in the power of intangible currency.
Game continues for the total of five rounds where you gain points from a point from each gold from each bitcoin investment cards experience track for building all the bitcoin mining machines and for having the majority in each investment type even cash. [Music] Did you invest wisely? All right, I've got my power generators, my solar panels, got some battery packs, extension cords, and a couple of hamster wheels.
Tarant, what are you doing? I'm preparing to mine Bitcoin. And I have super fast hardware and an unlimited supply of caffeine. I'm all set. So, you're convinced and confident in bitcoins, huh? Yep. All right. Just wait till I put these together and flip the switch. And three, two, one. It's alive. Congrats, Terren.
You mind a blackout? Well, at least the Bitcoin can't crash if we can't see it. I'm rolling my eyes, Tarant. Just don't invest in unreliable capital. Age of Bitcoin captures market chaos in cardboard form. Take a chance on buying the assets while they're low in price, not knowing if their price is going to keep going up.
You collectively manipulate the price to a certain degree. Like a transaction in Bitcoin could bring its price up for everyone. Selling at the right time could bring the price down. Having lots of power to buy a lot of things at once helps. Just like in real life, you could manipulate the price of assets dramatically.
The game thoughtfully captures the real life development of Bitcoin since as players individually gain trust. So too does the world. Eventually once global Bitcoin trust is high enough, it goes from being not just an investment but also a currency. Players able to spend Bitcoin instead of cash on some actions.
If global trust is really high, Bitcoin is worth even more points at the end of the game, but Bitcoin is way more volatile than the other assets. And when Bitcoin crashes, good old steady gold automatically goes up. Investment cards also offer numerous strategic paths and interactive market actions ensure plenty of playful conflict.
To be in the rat race, let's start investing in the age of Bitcoin project. Oh, look. Market panic. Bitcoin crashes. Guess your hot tips just got iced. Who made that giant sell off? It says there, massive sale by one T fel. Uh what? Um how did that get there? Oh, I think it says uh T flake. Flake. So, thanks for watching folks.
