Crimson Desert and the Joys of Digital Tourism

The Dungeon Dive Aug 26, 2026
Transcript 42:25

Hey folks, welcome back to the Digital Dive. Daniel here. I hope you're doing well, and if you're not, I hope you are soon. Okay, on today's episode, I wanted to talk briefly about Crimson Desert. This is such a weird game, man. Uh So, for uh Dungeon Dive patrons, you will know that I wrote a pretty scathing review of this when it first came out. I bounced off this game really hard. I did not like much of it. Uh there were a lot of issues, and some of the issues I've had were technical, and they have been addressed a little bit in some of the patches. Uh Pearl Abyss, the game's developer, they've been patching the heck out of this game.

Like, it feels like every week there's a new patch. And I think things are getting better. Uh it does run better on my PC now. I was playing it on PS5, and man, it ran so bad on PS5, and it looked terrible. But, something about this game just it it it kept drawing my attention. I kept watching videos about it, and I kept wanting to give it another chance, because on paper, this seems like a game I should love. And so, I I ended up re-buying at this It's so stupid, but this is like a game that I did not like at all, and I bought it twice. I bought it on Steam, and I finally found some settings that I could run it pretty well at a pretty good frame rate, about 60 frames per second or so, which is what I can eke out on my kind of low-end PC. I have to play it at like 1080p instead of, you know, 4K or whatever, but it's fine. I finally found some settings where I'm happy with the way it looks, I'm happy with the way it runs. I think it looks really nice. I think it's running nice. You know, it doesn't look amazing all super cinematic quality like other streamers might might get to.

But, there was something about this game that just kept me wanting to come back to it and give it another chance. And I started, you know, just watching other videos and I said, "Okay, I I need to give this game another chance." And I'm really glad I did because this game has hooked me now. And I you know, I'm about six chapters in. I think I've played about 20 hours on the PS5 and about 20 hours or so, maybe 15 hours on Steam. So, I think this save in total is about 30 or 40 hours that I've put into this. And this game is like hundreds and hundreds of hours long. And one of my favorite things to do in big open world games is just to kind of uh live in the world. Just exist in the world and explore these worlds. It's you know, I I've played I've said this before, but I've played many many hundreds of hours of Skyrim and Assassin's Creed Odyssey. And I've never beaten those games ever. I I've beaten, you know, little side quests and things, but I've never beaten the main story on those games. It's not something I'm really interested in doing. And that's good with Crimson Desert because the story of this game is absolutely nonsense if you don't spend the hours to get into all the lore and everything. Uh the first eight or 10 hours or so of this game are pretty bad.

You're just doing a whole bunch of random tasks and chores. But, I started exploring more. I started getting more into the game and there was a moment where the game really clicked. And I I I kind of want to show that moment here. I'm not going to give away I mean, this game is so massive that I can't really give away spoilers or anything. Uh hold on, I need to shut my window cuz my neighbor just started uh doing some some yard work. Hold on.

Okay, I don't think you guys want to hear a leaf blower in the background. But I just I love exploring big open world games and I find the open world in this game to be pretty amazing to explore and when people say this game is massive, it's really hard to convey just how absolutely huge this game is. I mean, there is so much to see and do and seeing and doing things in games like this it's like my favorite thing. So, I wanted to show the moment where this game clicked. And so, let's see here. I can't remember exactly where it was somewhere in the ancient rift. Uh let's see. Is this it? I believe this was it here. So, I'm going to teleport here.

And yeah, I just I did something in the game. I solved this puzzle. I'm not going to show you how to solve the puzzle. Believe me, there's not going to be any spoilers in this game in this video. It's almost impossible to spoil this game because of how massive it is. Uh yeah, this is where I wanted to come. So, I solved this puzzle. You know, I was just out exploring. There's all kinds of crazy weird obtuse esoteric puzzles in this game. I will be super honest for a lot of them I am using YouTube. I am using Google. I don't really love figuring out puzzles in games, but I like what they unlock. I like what they what they allow me to do. And so, I just look up the solutions. I have no problem with that whatsoever. And I am also playing the game on easy because I don't want to beat my head against this game. I still have a lot of issues with the controls and just how cumbersome and time-consuming a lot of stuff is. This game has a lot of things against it, but it also has a lot of things for it. And it's just it's captured my imagination in a way that not many video games do. And the way it's captured me is just seeing stuff and wanting to go there and and look at it and discover it. And I also find that the combat to be pretty fun. Now, let's take a look at my character real quick here.

So, I've got this black wing mask I got from beating a boss. I've got I found this cool plate armor of the shadows. I've got this reindeer cloak that protects me from ice. I've got this one and I'm like dual wielding these one-handed weapons. The hollow visage and the toria curved sword, which is pretty cool. But, I removed a bunch of the powers from these two swords that I was using and equipped those onto the vessel of dark pursuit, which I got from defeating a boss. So, I put a whole bunch of stuff on this weapon. And what's really cool is that we have these things called the abyss gears and you can see that below my weapon wound of darkness critical rate one attack one crows pursue and attack one. Those are all things that you can equip in like your gear, all of your weapons and your armor and you can freely swap those in and out between any weapon. And so, a lot of the weapons and armor in this game, as you level them up, they end up being relatively the same stat-wise, but you can modify them to be the exact weapon you want. And what's really most important is how they look because the stats are pretty similar.

And so, that's why I'm rocking this weapon here. It shoots out some some crows when I'm fighting. I think it sends out like a shockwave on the ground. Uh there's just all kinds of just awesome awesome things you can do in combat in this game. I love it. Um and then you have this like slowmo power where when an enemy comes at you when you have this triggered you get a prompt where you can dodge and you can re-past them and parry them. But yeah, it's pretty cool. But so the loot is really fun because you don't really need to worry about stats too much. You can just kind of worry about what you like the look of. Yeah, so I solved this puzzle. I won't show you the puzzle and the puzzle turned this giant fan on.

And so then I went to the fan. This is kind of the moment where the game clicked for me. And I deployed my wings. And I took this air current. I mean this is all all of that land is explorable and there are hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of points of interest to interact with. And I came up here to one of these abyss islands. And the abyss islands are all of these floating islands that are floating in the sky. And there are dozens and dozens of these. And on these islands will be a series of puzzles, of kind of these challenges that you have to do, or these boss fights. And on this particular island that I flew up to while I was just exploring. I wasn't this wasn't on a quest or anything. I came up here and I fought a boss and I defeated the boss and you know, I just looking around a little bit more. I love this kind of weird architecture. This is a really neat game because it combines elements of fantasy and science-fiction.

And I always love that combination. I love a good science fantasy. It's one of my favorite kind of subgenres. And I got some little reward there. But I can't really progress any more in this direction. I can't unlock any of these other islands. I need to go back and unlock some of these other islands before I can continue on this path. But I just I kind of started like looking down and looking at things that would catch my interest and up there just to the north I saw those two waterfalls in this kind of like deep canyon. But then if you I came over here and looked and there was like this structure down below and I just okay, I want to go and explore that ravine and see what that's all about. So one of the coolest things and I love doing this in this game is just jumping off something high and floating down and you know, looking at the area around and just seeing neat things that you want to go and check it out or that I want to go and check out.

And these games kind of like making me curious about stuff. Uh where did that ravine go? There it is. Okay, so I want to go over here. You know, I was flying down and I saw this structure. I saw those two waterfalls and I was just really curious about what what these things were. And I kind of feel like uh a digital tourist. You know, this is like virtual virtual tourism. And that is something that I like a lot in games is when I can just see something and go and explore it. And in a lot of ways this game gives me the feeling of a big kind of open world hex crawl that I might play on my tabletop and I don't really have any direction.

I'm not really concerned about the quest. I am progressing the main story just because you unlock things that make everything else a better as you are progressing the story. You unlock, you know, new skills and things and just ways to interact with the world. But I uh let's go back over here. Oh, it looks like there's going to be some enemies. So yeah, here's some some ruins. So uh let's go ahead and like fight these guys here.

I think that combat is super fun in this game. It almost feels like a Dynasty Warriors game. It's kind of like the complete opposite of a soul style game. I mean, this is just a game all about like power fantasies. But accidentally uh put out my arm there. I have like this force arm. And somewhere I have a dog. I don't know where my dog is. There he is. He's running around picking up loot for me. But you have this force arm that you can like attach onto things. And then you can kind of use it to like vault yourself. You can use it to hold things, to pull things, to push things. Uh you use the force arm a lot in the weird kind of cumbersome puzzles. But I I think that combat is super fun. And you get into some absolutely massive scale battles. Like you are fighting hundreds and hundreds of dudes and it's so much fun.

But yeah, I just I came over here and just I saw this ravine and with these flowers growing on it and this weird like ruin system here. This like ruined castle. And so I wanted to explore it. And this ruined castle is kind of a mystery. A lot of people don't really know what this is for. If you go into this ruined castle I love this force push where you can like shoot yourself up into the air. But you can go into this ruin and it's completely shrouded in darkness. It almost feels like I I read some things about this being like a puzzle that maybe wasn't finished yet or something. I don't know. Maybe this comes into play later, maybe 200 hours later. A lot of times these these like spiked walls or these portcullis walls, I don't know what these are, these blocked off walls. A lot of the times you can open those by finding little fires to light.

But I don't I don't know how to open that one yet. I haven't figured it out. I don't know if it does open. But when you come into this mysterious ruin, you are completely enveloped in darkness and so you can't see outside. Now, one of the reasons why I'm playing on 1080p and not anything higher is because to get this game to look good and the lighting in this game is so bizarre. I don't know what they did. To get this game to look good at all, I had to play with ray this thing called ray reconstruction on. I am not a PC guy. I don't know what any of this stuff means. I just like to play to have fun, but I finally found a way to make this game look okay and run at 60 frames per second.

And I had to have ray reconstruction on to make it look good. If you turn that off, it looks like garbage on my computer. And so that's And so that eats up a ton of whatever resources and so I had to turn it down to 1080p to get it on, but this is like a weird kind of puzzle room where if you walk out then the floor below you that you can't see might actually it like deteriorates and like you fall into these pits. Like there I'm not quite sure what you're supposed to do in this room or what why this place exists. See if we can go. Oh, no, I'm going to fall. Where am I at now? All right. Well, I guess we could go wait I mean, look at this. Okay.

I just fell down this little this little hit here. Oh, oh, I just got

getting crushed by these falling walls. Okay, but let's uh drop down this hole. Wow, okay, I took a lot of damage there. Okay. So, now we're kind of falling down this weird I mean, yeah, just as saying this game is a big which way am I going? Uh I think I want to go the other way. I think I want to go this direction here to get to these waterfalls. And like there's all these puzzles down here in this ravine with these like statues and stuff. I have no idea what they are. I haven't looked that up yet.

But, I mean, we were like felt like 20 mi up in the sky. We flew down, went to these little ruins, and now I'm at the bottom of this ravine in this river. And there are all these like tons of There's like hundreds of animal species that you can catch. Here's some fish. Can I catch these fish and eat them? Catch. Yes, what am I catching? Cool. I don't need a fishing pole. I can just catch these. And then I can cook them up. There's so many like weird systems. I wonder if I can burn these with this uh light here. Sometimes you have to burn these branches to reveal things.

I don't think these can catch on fire. But, there's a lot of people who say this game is like an ocean wide or the width of an ocean and the depth of a puddle. I I disagree with that. I think this game has a lot of depth to it and you just kind of have to allow yourself to get into it and Okay, I don't know if I can go under that. Can I move this? Sometimes you can move these big blocks. What is the point of this? And there's a lot of stuff where Yeah, I can Oh, I can squeeze through there. Cool. Cool. There's a lot of stuff where the point is is just to see it. Not everything has a purpose and I think that's okay.

And I have greatly enjoyed my time just doing what I'm doing right now. Walking around and looking at stuff. And just kind of wondering about the history of this world. And you can push you can put together the history of this place. Uh there is a lot like in the journal. We have all of these uh different factions that you can work for. Right now in this game, I'm pretty early, so I don't have a lot of this unlocked. We have all of these different factions and all of these factions have quests. All of these factions have bosses. I just started working for the witches and so I'm I've gone out and I've sanctified these or I I I've cleansed these sanctums for this witch.

And I had to fight all these like cultists at these sanctums and then solve the puzzle there. I haven't found a second witch, so I think there are four or five witches in the game. And they all send you out on different quests. But, all of these houses, all of these different lands, these kingdoms, they all have a ton of quests that you can do. And some of them are super simple like, "Hey, go and buy me some meat and bring it back." Some of them are more complex where you're traveling, you know, dozens of miles to fight a boss. You have your whole Grey Man, so you are Cliff McDufer or some stupid name for your main character. It's just a total nothing of a main character, really, but he's part of the Grey Man's and your kind of main quest is to get your group back together, and so you have to go out and find the members of your Grey Man's. You are putting together, you're building up your camp, you are supplying your camp with all of these resources. You can send out the Grey Man's that you have found. You can send them out on missions to bring things back to like expand your camp. Uh there is just a there's just a ton of stuff going on. So, I needed to do Bryce's I need to build a wagon because there's trade routes, so you can build a wagon and then you can get goods and you can package goods and you can go out on trade routes. You can actually invest your gold in a bank and then like the game's stock market or some nonsense. I don't know. There's so much to this game, but just I mean, just look at

this. You know, this is why I play video games right here. This experience of just seeing, stumbling upon something like this. It wasn't part of a quest. It wasn't something I was uh trying to do. I was just walking around and and looking for interesting things. Okay, so there's something up there, so you can shine a light and you can see that reflection. So, okay, let's go up there and see what that is. That might be part of this puzzle. So, I'm going to jump and then use my force palm here, and then I'll shoot in the I'll shoot myself in the air. I mean, the traversal is just amazing. Okay, oh, woah. Okay, so this is a fast travel point. So, I was down here for like 30 minutes before and I never found this. So, now I can come, I can fast travel right to this point again.

But, god, that is just so cool. The controls, I think, are still really clunky. They're kind of unresponsive a lot of times. They're way too complex. I mean, everything about this game is like five layers of complexity more than it needs to be. Just the movement and That looks like it might be a cave down there, too.

And it can get really frustrating. So, I don't want to like Okay, what is this? Is this just loop around? Oh, okay. I thought this was I I thought this was a cool cave or something. You know, I don't want to sit here and say like this game is like some kind of like masterpiece. Okay, so I think I can break this rock now with this new power. Yeah. So, I'll go into this mode and then I mean, just like you go into this mode and then you have three things you can do in this mode. I should be able to stun this stone in here. Boom. Okay, so we got rid of that. And then these are like these magical things that you can actually store in a kookoo pot. Okay, what's a kookoo pot?

Well, I'm going to seal this in my kookoo pot. So, a kookoo pot is this thing that this crazy like mad scientist made for you. And in your kookoo pot, where's my kookoo pot? Over here. You can store all of these weird things and I don't really know what these do yet. I've just been picking them up. Apparently, there's this whole system where you can craft all of these magical uh items and relics using some kind of poop kuku pot invention system. I don't know. I haven't explored it yet. Okay. So, I don't know if there was really a reason to come over here. But, a lot of the puzzles and things in this game are just kind of figuring out like, okay, is this a puzzle?

Or is this just something to see? And a lot of the puzzles are so obtuse that you don't even really know if you're solving them right until they're solved. Okay, let's see here. Let's uh let's let's continue to go down this uh ravine here for a little bit. So, I might be able to go up there, but it looks like you know, I can also continue along the water. Hopefully, I don't have to swim because the swimming in this game is god-awful. This is such a frustrating game because like so much of it is awesome, but it's like under 10 layers of absolute BS to get through.

But, if you can if you can dig through the nonsense, there is a lot to love about this game, especially if you like just exploring an interesting fantasy world with lots of things to see and do. And things that the game doesn't tell you, you just kind of have to go with it. And give yourself over to the game.

And you do have to put up with some really pretty cumbersome controls. I mean, sometimes the jump doesn't trigger or like because it's all it's really locked into these kind of like strict animation priorities. Um Oh. Okay, so if you shine a light Okay. So I just shined a light on that crystal.

Um Will my lantern show anything here? No. If I go into my nature vision, does that show me anything? Okay. Now this I might be able to push in with my force palm, so let's try that. Oh. Okay.

Oh, I have no idea what's going on, but I just got an engraved stone. Uh an engraved stone. Is that like a quest item or something? Let's see here. Yes. An engraved stone found in the ancient rift. There must be a special use for it. Okay. Well, this is new. Something I didn't see the last time I was down here. But like sometimes with the puzzles you might be missing the actual skill or ability that you need to solve the puzzle and there's no like it doesn't tell you like hey, you can't do this yet. You're just you'll just beat your head against something until you just give up.

And that's really bad. That's really bad game design, you know. Puzzles can be hard, but they need to respect your time. And this game does not respect your time at all. This game hates your time, and it will suck up every last moment of your day if you let it. But hey, you know what? It's been so much fun just doing what I'm doing right now. Ignoring a lot of the stuff. Ignoring kind of like the critical path. Just looking around for things. Like, is this a cave or it this is another area. Okay. Huh. So, these are stones that you can break.

Nope, not like that. Again, the controls you will get so frustrated. I get so frustrated with the controls. Then I got to press another button, and then I have to wait. And then I have to line this up, I think, to hit that. And it didn't. Oh. Now, see now that should have worked. So, let's try that again. Nope. Okay, wrong. I didn't let the charge up long enough. Charge up. There we go. Now, do this. Now there we go. Case Excuse me. So, now I can seal this in my kookoo pot for some reason.

I can catch a butterfly if I wanted to or a firefly. What the hell? I mean, this is just gorgeous. Look at this. What is this for? Is there a reason for this? You know, I had a you know, there's this is a secret area. I had to use a weird power to bust a stone to get in here. But why? What's What is the point of this?

Was it just to see? And if so, that's pretty awesome. But, is there a bigger point? Do I need to bring something here? Do I need to interact with these weird firefly light things, or was this Wait, what was that? Can lean? Oh, yeah, I can lean. Let's just chill. There are things in Dark Souls where you just chill for 30 or 40 seconds and something happens. I don't know if that happens here, but uh Man, I am so glad I found this, because this is that exactly the kind of thing that I was saying about this game is that you just never know. This could be a mystery, it could be a puzzle.

Does it say anything on our map? Nope. No idea. I have no idea what this is, but I am so glad I found it because it is awesome. I guess I could try attacking, but I don't know, are these peaceful creatures? Uh uh let's let's give it a swipe and see what happens.

Okay. Nothing. All right. Well, you know what? Maybe in 100 hours, maybe I'll find out what that little room is for. But, the fact that it just exists there, it's not on the map, it's not a quest, it's just there, is pretty dang cool. And who knows what else? I mean, this is just one little area. This is just one little ancient rift. You know, we've gone from here to here so far. And there is this entire world just full of this kind of stuff. And even in the areas that I've been, which I've only been I think they're like five main areas. There there's Hernand, there's Demenus, there's Delicia, there is the Crimson Desert, and there is Pyloon. And so, I've spent all of my time in Hernand. I've gone a little bit into Demenus because the in the part of the game I'm at, I needed to go up here.

But even in this opening area, which feels as big as Skyrim. I don't know if it is, but it feels that big. There are still so many things that I haven't interacted with. I haven't looked at. So many quests that I still haven't even found. So many quests I haven't participated in, and so many factions, and so many systems, and things that I I haven't engaged with at all because one, maybe I don't know how, or two, I don't even know that they're there yet until I stumble upon them. And that is really really cool. And I just love stuff like this right Oh, there's another one. Okay. Um That one looks a little bit more complex. The last one only had three lights.

I want to get a better angle here. Uh what is it? Oh, okay. Oh, I see. I probably have to like line them up. Feel like I just kind of like stumbled

upon the uh Yeah, you probably have to line these up. I don't know if you have to line up the crystals or the lines. But I won't do that on camera because I don't I don't I don't want to give that away, but I think that's what I'll do after I shut this off today after we uh call it quits, come back here and solve that puzzle. Let's uh let's continue to just walk down this ravine. See what else there I mean ah God, that is just gorgeous. And this is I'm I'm playing on really low settings. So if you've got a better PC than I do and I think most PC gamers do, it's going to look amazing for you.

Okay. And what's this? Hole. Insert. Oh. Okay. So I've I've inserted that stone. So it looks like we need to find, you know, two more of those Hiller doors, figure out those, open those, and get the stone, and then insert the stones into these holes, and that will solve the problem or the puzzle. Now, here's another issue. And let's go to another area while I talk about the other issue. The reason why I am glad uh let's go back to my camp here. We can go back to my camp. Talk to some people or check out the camp. Um a lot of the puzzles, when you solve them, you know, you'll spend 20, or you if you're like me, you'll just go to Google or YouTube and figure out how to solve them. They're always the same reward, and that's an issue. This game has a lot of stuff, but as you start exploring that stuff, you kind of realize that a lot of what the stuff the secrets that the stuff holds are very samey.

And what I mean by that is those puzzles like that, every time you solve one, you get the same reward. You get a skill point. And you can use the skill points to unlock your more abilities. There are a lot of caves hidden behind waterfalls. Every time you find a cave behind a waterfall, there's a treasure chest in it and it's a piece of gear. It's some kind of loot, like a new weapon or a new piece of armor. And so, as you start getting more, you know, experiencing more and more of those things, the excitement does start start to wear off a little bit. I wish they would change things up. And because Pearl Abyss, because they are constantly tinkering with this game, I that wouldn't be surprised me if they do change things up. Another thing that you won't find a lot in this game and it's something that we all really loved about Skyrim is you know, you could be playing Skyrim on a quest and stumble up on something and then like 3 hours later, you were still doing something involving that initial quest. You've gone into a cave, you found an underground city, you found three NPCs you're interacting with, and all of this is like it keeps building the the the quests keep building upon each other, especially, you know, the some of the more important quests.

Now, that really doesn't happen in in in Crimson Desert. Things don't tend to build upon themselves. You go, you know, a quest tells you, "Go here to this cave." And you go to that cave, you walk in, you do one thing, and the quest is done. The caves don't or the quests don't snowball into bigger further adventures. It's a bunch of little kind of bite-size adventures. And part of me misses that more Skyrim-like approach, but part of me likes the little bite-size chunks of adventure because you can play this game for hours and do a whole bunch of those, or I could just start up my game and play for 30 to 45 minutes and do one little thing and kind of feel like I've had um a successful game session and doing something useful.

So, yeah. You know, it just depends. It depends on what you want whether you will be disappointed in Crimson Desert or whether you will like it. Yeah, this is my camp here. And so here like this guy I can go and talk to and with this guy I can send out

Looking for someone to join

the gray man who I found and who have come back to my camp. I can send them out on all of these different missions and they can gather materials and resources and things for my for my camp. And what's really cool, the weird thing about this game is like let's say you send them out on a combat mission to go and take care of some bandits. You know, you send them out you think in most games well, they're just going to go out and do their thing in the background. Well, you can actually go to where you send your your comrades and you will find them there when they get there and you can actually go and join them in the jobs that they are doing. Very weird. Um another weird thing is like there are other playable characters, but there's this character called Damian.

And she came to my camp like 10 hours ago and I was able to play her for about a half an hour and then she left and she's still on my wheel, but she's on an important mission. I don't know what the hell she's doing. She hasn't been around and maybe I'll stumble upon her. Maybe she's probably out in the world right now doing something and if I could physically find her, I could observe what she is doing. But I have no idea where she is. I know there's another character. I just stumbled up on the other character in a main mission, but he was doing something else more important. I don't know I don't know where he went. But uh this is my camp so far. I've got a cook. I need to build this wagon so I can start the trade route so I can start earning some more money. Once we build a wagon, the wagon will go in here and then I can take items that I found and I can bundle them up in groups of like 20 or 25 and turn them into trade goods and then start trading with the various guilds, the various trade guilds around this land here.

But night time is coming and yeah, so I just wanted to talk briefly about Crimson Desert and how the game finally got its hooks in me. What I love about the game, some of the issues I have with it. But if you are looking for a game where you can just go and explore and you can walk into almost any building and there's something in there. And while you're exploring, there are like no load screens. Once the game loads once, that's it. Uh you load when you fast travel and that's about it. But you don't have to fast travel anywhere. You can walk for hours just in a random direction and probably find something uh pretty cool to do. Uh what's really fun is let's say in this um I think if we go up to the abyss that will be right above here.

And at night you can just look down and you can, you know, see all of the torch lights and the weird magical lights of the land. And that's really fun to like dive down off of these sky islands at night because you're just able to see well, first of all, just forever, the horizon. But yeah, all of the lights are shining. I don't know. What is that city over there? That might be Is that Hermane? Uh yeah, so that is Hermane. So, that's like one of the main cities that we're looking at over there. If we look in this direction, I think we can see the kingdom of of Daminos over there.

So, there's all these huge kingdoms and castles and towns and things that I've never even been to. But uh yeah, if you like exploring and you like solving puzzles and you like doing weird things and you like getting weird loot and gear and just kind of making your own fun, having your own fun in this huge fantasy science fantasy sandbox, check out Crimson Desert. You know, if it can run on your computer, you know, it it's running on my 460 fine for me. You may not like the way it looks, but to me it looks fine. If you have anything more powerful, it'll look and run even better. I do not recommend it for the base PlayStation 5. I think it looks really bad and it it it runs really poorly as well. You know, I can barely hit like 30 frames per second on the uh base PS5.

Uh but uh yeah, we can go over to that ocean. There's that big waterfall over there. I know I already went to the cave inside that. Uh those that mountain region over there, that's like an academy, this like scholarly institute. And somehow you can like do experiments there and research. I have no idea how. Uh I don't know what that little village is. That looks like like a magical area, too. The blue lights are kind of like magic lights. Have I been to that? Is that this area here? The Sanctum of That might be the Sanctum of Benediction. Or maybe that's here. Maybe I haven't been there yet. Maybe that's somewhere I want to go in between my uh antler horns there.

But uh Anyhow, these are just some random thoughts on Crimson Desert, something a little different today. Let me know if you're enjoying the game. Let me know if you hate it cuz I hated it, too, and something just finally clicked for me. So, all right, well, we'll talk to you later. Bye-bye.
