Burglar's Blitz - Board Game Playthrough. Be the Thief That Won't Get Caught

all right rant this is it we sneak in grab some Loot and get out no mistake this time hey hey last time was not my fault who put a motor around their house in 2025 anyway rich people of course now Focus you can carry maximum of five things so Choose Wisely you got the blueprint mhm what's this and why is there a dragon on it this is a map of the mansion and the dragon is for scale all right we've got everything here ski masks duffel bags oh I even got us some matching walkie-talkies why do they have stickers of unicorns on them they are on sale fine whatever now let's [Music] go picture this you old sneaky burglar tip toying into a lavish mansion eyes gleaming with the potential loot your mission grab the most valuable Treasures without getting busted by the police the ever Vigilant guard dog or those basky alarms in bre's Blitz and today we'll be doing a one round playthrough for burglar's Blitz this is a light push or luck card game it was designed by ACA sprunger and published by Wildflower this is a two to six player game and hi everyone it's Stella and tarant from M University all right right so we we've already planned our heist with uh hopefully your map of cramped paper towel will do the job this time hopefully we shall see so what we're going to do we're going to give you an overview of the game before playing and do check out the games project page if you are bit of a Twist on the classic push your luck often in push your luck are trying to get as much stuff as you can uh before something happens that makes you lose it all in this case you don't get the chance to uh just opt out we're going into a mansion and we're trying to steal as much stuff as possible uh but you have a loot bag special loot bag that holds exactly five things and you can't get out until you've got five things maybe you've got five different fences that you need to split them around to I don't know that is the aim get five things higher player counts it's four things but for the two-player game we're going to show you it's five things and so we've got this deck here this has all the various uh things that you can steal in the Mansion there's cheap things available like books who goes into steal books there's no first edition here all the way up to the most valuable things which are the uh heirloom clock and things that are worth 20 and then there's everything in between I imagine going in and getting some golf clubs yes or if you're really lucky you could find the key to the safe the safe's going to hold six additional cards so that one's uh pretty valuable if you can get it but then there's a few things you need to avoid there's a guard dogs who slow you down you can uh interfere with each other and ultimately once someone trips the Burglar Alarm we Shuffle the police car into the deck and when the police comes that's when you get busted if you're still there in the Mansion yeah so I say this is a game where you leave once you've collected five things every turn there'll be a discard pile and you'll either take the top card from the discard pile or take the top card from the deck and choose whether to keep it or not but if you keep the cards it's a permanent decision so it's all about do I keep something mid-range in order to push for something bigger so if you do get out unscathed you add up all the values and that will be your score and you play over four rounds and whoever gets the highest value of loot from I guess we're hitting four different Mansions yes will be doing it oo let's do it t yes so let's set this up I'll Shuffle everything together I will not follow your blueprint that looks suspiciously fake all right we'll set up the safe so six cards come out the Burglar Alarm could even be in the safe not a very not a very good place for the owners to put that but that would mean the police will never come yeah so we'll see all right and then we'll flip a card for the discard Pilots a camera it's worth seven that's a low to mid-range loot looks like one of those older camera that has got I don't know doesn't I don't even know if it has got digital cards yes iect as like it's not a digital camera yes I suspect that's the sort of one you find thousands of in porn Brokers okay well okay so first round I shall play first because you look like a burglar basically your top a little bit yes look like the uh the all right so my choices are to take this camera that I've already uh besched or look at a card and choose to take oh credit card worth 16 that's valuable I've got to add a credit card to my loot yeah well I'm going to get this T ah Sports Relic I don't want to take this it's a baseball with some scribble on it I know it feels like it's six you know it would have been like some used to be famous baseballer but not famous anymore or something like that yeah well power drill that's even worse I use the power drill to break in coin collection well obviously this is not a bit bit coin so I don't want to take that yes six as well it's a collectible yes we're going slowly here printer wow I thought machine next if it's a 3D printer I would take it probably like worth oh chandelier yes yes please that's uh one of the most valuable things in the game yes because the maximum is how many 20 20 yes some artwork this looks not too bad I'll uh I'll do the classic thing of walking out with a painting under my yes remote wow no thanks is it a universal remote even probably not it looks like it might be yeah no I can get it from can turn your Chandelier on I can oh well that will go together with the remote T do you want to take the remote next time oh we'll see television yeah I'm going to hang on to a television 13 Chargers seriously no who Shuffle these that was me you saw it all right books the burglar so the burglar alarm's still not there yeah I'm going to throw the books out okay well I'm going to have to start taking it steal from player yay so I can use it next time yes so we've come across the first of our action cards when you get a swipe card you have to if you want to use it you have to add it to your loot bag and then as your entire turn on a subsequent turn you can spend that it goes to a used pile not the discard pile and in the case of swipe it will let you take one of my things so this is where if I had just taken the books I would have been able to to escape before you even grab that oh yeah oh no you you still have three you need five if I'd had the books I could have escaped on my next turn potentially so now I know you're going to Nick the card so I'll keep digging computer computer and television I can uh put that through the same fence take both well guess what I'm going to do la I'll take that credit card please I get use some Amazon shopping spree or something okay well that's all right I shall replace it with an heirloom clock go do oh no so the guard dog is there's four guard dogs uh or one guard dog barking four times and running around the house I don't know but the guard dog essentially means you miss your next turn so it's going to slow you down give you more chance of being caught y personal information I think T's going to win pretty valuable so I'm going to I'm going to abscond I've got I've got all I need here I think so don't even need that credit card anymore I've got personal information got lots of points there I'll call them up and cancel that start a new one all right so I am now out of the round but you can keep taking turns until you're either full or get captured all right so technically this will miss my next turn but I'm the only player here so I'm going to yeah yes pretty good steal a I don't have anyone else a tan has run away so I can't steal anything from T correct sorry put it there oh technically it's in the junk because you didn't take it oh this is good okay one more one more one more I'm I'm getting up I'm getting up that's it man all right this is a lucrative little journey for both of us so we add up the values in the corners I've got if I'm not mistaken 76 82 all right you uh got out with better than I did so yeah would have thought this was a very lucrative Mansion here 76 I was a little bit worried there I was I thought I should have probably got the lower value item so I can get in and get out as soon as I can I mean get all the loots in and get out all right we reset everything now I am the start player I do like video games so and it's 12 it's not bad it's probably kind of like medium range or could be like the brand new one either way I am taking this thank you very much yep it's either very vintage or very new I think it's true all right uh coin collection yeah n mhm yeah no that's you know I want to try to do different strategy I want to just collect anything probably like eight or above we'll see or maybe not okay maybe not you seem a bit skittish after a first successful venture I don't know oh I've gone digging I picked up the ring oh chandelier I'll take that thank you very much place has a chandelier too credit card a these people necklace these people like going out without their credit cards no what we they have multiple credit cards power drill well I have one more so we'll see oh no all right so we didn't we we weren't as careful this time around we' tripped the burglar alarm so it's your fault ton in your map you drew it wow your fault that's true you were like oo another Chandelier and then there was a alarm behind it all right so the police card now gets shuffled into the deck Y and so that would be could be drawn anytime yes so that is where I mean you can get out very quickly I still need to take at least three turns yeah I will need to put it over here hitting the police that's correct the burglar alarm goes there okay police are coming you books you know what I've heard the alarm I've got to get out with all right um got to be cautious oh like this could be it could be a good read it could be how to burgle the next mansion without setting off the alarm or I could use the power drill to burgle the next Mansion but I want to oh it's a big de but still yeah all right I'm I'm I'm out of here you're leaving with REM I'm leaving yeah with a remote control that's all right all right um look i' I'm a fairway behind here I've got to still make ah here we go so getaway driver I got on the I got on the phone once I heard the Burglar Alarm was tripped I'm like get over here with your uh vintage car that is a little bit uh they might not be running it might not be running they'll get me away so what this card does if I keep it it will sit in my loot bag it will take up a space of my loot but if the police come I escape that's lucky of you so I could just keep looking through the deck now until I get something valuable so at least I keep Pace with you I know I'm not going to go bust okay but I'm only going to get out with four pieces of loot MH or three if the police come right away and one of them is books so I'm going to take the conservative I've got the remote remember all right charges are bad silverware is bad swipe is no use anymore because you have absconded early M clothes is pretty good valuable clothes this is an interesting choice 11 versus I'm going to keep I'm going to keep hunting I'm going to take advantage oh personal information personal information again okay that'll do me I think okay that'll do me all right I'm out see how far away the police were just out of Interest no I shouldn't uh shouldn't torture myself with this you sure that's what they do on push your luck TV shows to make you feel really there is such thing as push your luck TV show yeah deal on odal oh but oh look what you could have won yeah that Stu this is the game all right so I have got away with $50 worth of stuff and I've done it in style and I have 60 worth of stuff and I get out smelling good with a perfume okay so I move to one 2 six and you move to 4 2 I've got some catching up to do mhm Let's uh reset right round three you start I start not much of a musician so let's go hunting o a watch watches are always uh you can just slip them on and uh and Escape oh could be a Rolex there is that a real Rolex it uh I think that looks real crappy crap I mean these days I thought it would have worth more I would have thought so there's a bit of a Vintage Market these must be um a crap song Bad 8s disco maybe surely you don't like disco oh ring a you're doing well jewelry this time this is like really bad Sports Relic um getting all the man caves oh you know what I'm going to get it because I haven't been getting anything good and I get jealous oo credit card I know how to sniff these credit cards out I know all the hiding places ah usually it's wallets your thing okay it could be draws I was hoping it was in the drawer so what's in the drawer it's a key to the save key to the save key to the save this could really make up the the difference in the vinyl records and nonsense you're collecting because if you can ES with that key all six of these cards are yours if all right your turn I should probably just like a are you taking that or not I'm not I need to you you've got a big I think I want to take it I got to I got the key so I think this is fair for me to take it take another I dare you oh no thought thank you beverage ooh no I've got the getaway driver so ah seriously you get all the good stuff there Burger alarm oh no okay burglar alarm so Ino the police well I have a getaway driver so that would be hopefully that will come handy not like taran's plan to escape and no one even come to try to catch him all right you're a bit of a clumsy burglar you keep tripping alarms okay shandel oh my gosh you got all the good stuff there's no H all right I'm going to headset golf glass I think it's all H well you already out so I keep going I'm going to start the worry now I'm probably going to have to just start getting the ah the low value seriously one more come on K this is really bad steal from the player I can't do that anymore got again and well the dog Lov me all right that's it I'm I'm out of here all right I mean technically I could just keep going because I have this you could the worst you would get is not having a well you would lose that 13 no what you know what stop it stop there yeah so a mighty hall for me this is 87's worth a whooping 87 yes and you are sitting on 26 and whatever's in the safe it's better be good power drill who keeps the in a safe well I don't know it's like a a special one so what's that now so that's 29 ooh 42 52 63 65 and 80 yay you really did well off the sa just look look at how crappy it is like power drill like usually in charges it's a random mix of stuff to go into safe but then again they didn't have anything more valuable that you found I know so well artwork is yeah still less valuable than what you have all right so well done so you get 80 I get 87 well done so it's really close it's really close as we go to the final round all right all right I've got a 13 difference to make up and you are first all right I could use some makeup but I want to try something more valuable a ring would be um perfect thank you very much oh that takes me 31 points behind all right I've got the key now I've got no idea whether I'm going to I could be aead now for all I know oh no printer no thanks camera mhm that's right okay get a driver I will take that so it will save me from getting busted gives you in a safe position Golf Club I'll grab the club okay you desperate are we B alarm onor police is coming I don't think we weren that level of but why just small time Mansion thieves why am I always tripping the regular alarm am I just awkward I probably am maybe because of this pink top just like so shiny yes you're more cluso less um guy from Mission impost possible I that I forget the what's Tom Cruz's name oh yeah okay well that Evan even even something like that it's a good discussion to have while we're stealing things Okay Okay police you that's it sorry Teran so I keept like digging well no you're uh you have to have gone as well so yeah gone as well oh have got 18 and you got the save Oh no you're no you're little bustard I'm busted you got 18 you go to 240 and I a quick game stay on 213 it's okay I've still got $213 worth of of stuff that I've sent out to my fences um they've got nothing on me I could just be going golfing on the grounds and they'll get me out on bail and then I'll go and get my stuff with this ring I will propor to you H wait we already married never mind I do kind of want to know what the safe would have got me okay it's not bad yeah that would have that will win you would that would have got me the win probably well
