Description

A two player abstract strategy game played on a hex grid board that represents a gladiator pit. Players fire "projectiles" (represented by red arrowheads) from the central space trying to hit their opponent's pawn. These projectiles reflect or deflect off the arena walls and "shields" that the players can slot into the board on their turn in lieu of movement. Projectiles that finish their normal movement in the same space multiply and move off in different directions. Projectiles that finish in the same space after this secondary movement detonate removing themselves and all adjacent shields. Play continues until one or both players is hit by a projectile, resulting in a loss for the hit player or a draw if both are hit on the same turn.
