Description

On orders from the king, you have come to an island with a treasure-filled dungeon to seek its riches. Unfortunately, as far as adventurers go, you’re exceedingly cowardly and can’t seem to muster up the courage to enter the dungeon yourself. While drinking in a tavern nearby, you come up with a brilliant idea: “What if I hire other adventurers to go into the dungeon in my place?”

In Dinky Dungeon, players attempt to collect treasures from the dungeon by playing one of the two adventurer cards from their hand and activating its ability. Adventurer abilities have a wide variety of effects, from drawing treasure cards from the dungeon (worth points at the end of the game), to discarding other players’ treasure cards, to utilizing a discarded adventurer card’s ability, and more. Because players are able to draft an adventurer card to add to their hand from a selection of 4 every turn, the game offers a solid amount of hand flexibility while remaining simple and straightforward for beginners. Players will always have something they can do to try and get a leg up on their opponents!

The game ends when one of two conditions is met:
- A player ends their turn with a point total passing a designated threshold (varies by player count).
- The dungeon deck runs out of cards.
