Description

Welcome back to Furroughfield! And you’re here in time for our favorite time of year. The leaves are changing, the days are getting shorter, and the smell of blue-ribbon pies is in the air. It can mean only one thing: The Fall Festival is in town, and it’s the commonwealth’s largest and most beloved event as we come together to admire the craft and creativity of our neighbors.

This expansion brings all-new locations to our little town, where festival-goers can earn a few extra coins, harvest their fields, and get Fall Festival favorites for new actions, benefits, and ways to score. Plus you’ll bring home the finest pies – blueberry, pecan, pumpkin, strawberry-rhubarb, and Furroughfield’s famous sugar cream!

This fall, fall in love with Harvest all over again.

Quotes (from this video)
  • I think it's going to be very cool, very immersive.
  • It sounds like it has all the, you know, all the ingredients to be pretty pretty darn cool.
  • These card games are like the perfect weight for tons of different situations. They are thinky and they're fun and they're fast and I'm excited for this one.
  • I want to see the booth. I want to see the booth.
  • I love bizarre history themes.
  • Um and while it's unsolvable in the real world, here in this game, you get to solve it. You get to feel clever. You get to be the one that pulls it off.
  • But I think this game is fantastic. It is already in the running for my top game of 2025.
  • It is such a clever, smooth, cool card game that plays um you know up to eight players each.
  • I think this is the kind of game that can kind of transcend the hobby a little bit.
  • Sign me up. I am ready for this game. I take my money. Yeah, just take it. Just take my money.
  • So, the fact that I can get all those same feelings in half the time, oh my gosh, this is an absolute home run for me.

Quotes (from this video)
  • So, uh, these are the best expansions coming to retail in September.
  • Unfortunately my mic keeps failing and uh I'm still traveling so I have no way to fix this or deal with this right now and I have tried to record this video a bunch of times and I cannot get the microphones to work and I do not know what's going on and I'm very frustrated.
  • So, you know, kind of just makes it a more chill experience.
  • And so, you know, it's not really changing the game, but it's adding a lot more cards and a lot more content to explore.
  • As always, I hope you found something that you like.
  • Sorry for the technical difficulties. I'm annoyed by it.
  • So, uh, here there's the information for you.

Quotes (from this video)
  • Uh also Chang'an. Uh this is from Arcane Wonders. It's an engine building game. There's some interesting ideas, but it's hard to pass around this player aid sheet to remember what everything does, and it looks old, which keeps you from loving it more than I I would normally. 6 out of 10.
  • And Rattlesnake. What a fantastic game. It's two-player back and forth, nice filler style. Really enjoyed it. 8.5.
  • And then Druids of Adora, this is a really cool game from Stefan Feld that has a few issues with it which keeps me from loving it. A six out of 10 I gave it. Uh the Again, no player aids at all in this one. And the it's a lot of the iconography is hard to see. And some of the game is too focused on getting supplies to play the rest of the game. But the rest of the game was pretty fun. So there's kind of a mix in there of all that.
  • I've come to realize this is not English. I'm going to guess Icelandic.
  • There's two categories of board gaming, Ameritrash and Euro crap.
