- abstract strategy — described this as checkers that turns into chess
- Modular Board — the tiles can eventually only move in the direction that they have pins and so eventually as you keep playing the game these are going to be modified in such a way that they can move in all these wacky and wild directions
- Tile Placement — you have these tiles on it that are they they they look like little pins that you can put on so it looks like it's a it's you have six squares that have a five by five holes in them

Quotes (from this video)
- This is a dueling a two-player dueling game of wizards or really I guess it's not really of wizards just of one of these ones of wizards this one yeah this one was a fire mage and a time age or something I really like this these kinds of games and this one was very quick pace strategic a lot of awesome card play has a pretty unique system on how you like can counter people and and and stall them out but also you're doing really cool combos
- I was worried about Kapow because I had just played Hour of Need and they kind of felt like they came around the same time and it's like really just generic these generic stupid superhero games that has no it felt like they just have no substance
- but I was pleasantly surprised with Kapow because it's a dice game it's a dice crafting game as well so you have your static dice just different color types with different symbols but you also have action dice that you customize as the game goes on and that was pretty interesting
- Heat Pedal to the Metal um they told me that comes out in october and it's it's a pretty good racing game i i enjoyed it quite a bit
- but what's interesting is that you want to manage the the heat of your engine and the more risky you are the more engine heat cards go into your deck and they basically just clog up your deck and also cause a lot of hazard cards if you don't have ways like if you become if you you know try and bank around a corner at too high of a speed and you heat up your engine and you run out of those engine cars you burn out and you actually don't even make it around the corner but you also take a bunch of hazard cards and these just clog up your hand
- It is if you played Stuff Fables it's probably the next game to play like with your family it's it is a little bit more complex and Stuff Fables but there's and it's but the the storytelling is in that same era like of your you're a bunch of familiars that are taking care of a baby
- and I gotta say the app for it because there is an app that's the the voice acting and the sound effects are top-notch like it's it competes up there with some Foreteller narration it's really good
- I also played quirky circuits that's also by plaid hat games uh that one's very fun a slight non-verbal programming where you're trying to just either clean up dust bunnies with a cat on the roomba or pick up oh i don't remember what the the penguin has to pick up but it's very it's very nice like everyone's working together to try and make a sequence of cards of how the cat or the penguin that's gonna move
- it's funny on the roomba because roomba's just working like that because they suck uh where it's like turns around and then you thought they were going to move forward so it turns around so you bump into the wall the roomba turns left and then they they turn it left again and so then it moves forward then it moves back it's adorable very fun
- I did do a I checked Aristeia again that one is one I I will probably get I really like the skirmish style games with a bunch of characters
- Oswar was fantastic awesome looking you know boss battle unique you really unique combat system because it's a push your luck you can roll as many deaths or draw as many cards they had both that was very very cool
- so that's kind of how they do it it's a very unique system i haven't seen it anywhere else that's definitely something that's that oh sworn has going for it
- and they also oh sword has miniatures that actually pop in and out of like armor and weapons so i think that's fantastic
