Hey party people, welcome back to MBM. My name is Jeremy Howard. If this is your first time seeing, hey, welcome. Uh, I have Eric Verman here. Hello. Hello. Sky Kingdom. We go back. We go back. That's why I'm loose right away. I'm going tell you right now. Couple years ago, we did Isoparian Guard. Man, back in the day. What was that first game you started with with the kind of like tactics saga? I absolutely love that. That was way back in the day. And uh now we have this isopherian guard which was my game of the year uh for solo and cooperative a couple years ago about 2 years ago. And uh here we are again. He drove all the way up here once again uh because he likes me. And he also has this wonderful new expansion called Veil Ward. Not not the other things that we talked about.

Veil Ward. Yes. Yes. Veil Ward. Thankfully that bag's right there. Yes. Okay. So yeah, ISO is this big campaign game. It is uh basically for two players. It starts on a one to two uh adventure here. And it has several campaigns in the box. Tell us a little bit about that cuz it's it's massive. Okay. It's a large game. It's massive. Yes. 40 lb. Little. Yeah. 40 lb. 40 lb, dude. It is. It's 40 lb. Yeah. Actually, it feels like that when you get the box. It does. It does. You got to You got to go to the gym a little bit before you get You got to get in there. But it's got five campaigns. Okay. It's got 240 weighted chips, 1,700 cards. Yeah. And if you do everything that this game has to offer Oh, it's got 25 hours of incredible audio narration from Foreller. I'm not going seriously I Yeah, I don't like that kind of stuff normally, but the music is so intense and the voice acting is really good. So, I was like, actually, this is pretty good. So, our composer Sada did an amazing job. The the music is little Lord of the Ringsy kind of stuff. It's pretty good. It's pretty good. But if you do everything in the box, all the the main story, all the side stuff, you're looking at probably close to 200 250 hours on top. If you just do the story only, you could chuck probably 100 hours off of that, but we'll talk about this later. Okay. We've got a new mode that we've added in this reprint that allows players to experience the game in a much less amount of time. Yeah. So, there's a lot of campaign games out there in the industry right now. You

can't play them all. These are these are lifestyle games. You can buy them all apparently. You definitely can, but we want more people to be able to experience this game. Yeah. And we feel like this new mode will bring more players to the game. So, a little bit about ISO is it's a it's a it's an adventure game. Think I don't know, let's let's just name off a couple games like Witcher I was talking about before. Skyrim, those types of games. So, it's similar to that. Uh the mechanics are built around bag building. There's a lot of adventure stuff here. here. I mean, you can go fishing. You got you can go all kinds of stuff. Building encount that that different type of stuff in there. But the main mechanic is this bag bag building and selecting actions and stuff and managing your action points and things like that. So, if you're familiar with RPGs, that's going to be the big thing. Now, we can go ahead and start with if you know a little bit about this game and maybe you haven't played your copy in a while, uh you actually addressed some of the things that was, you know, that kind of were a little bit of feedback on the game. For me, it was a grind, but I love grind games. Absolutely. But you did address this. We did. So, what did you do to address that? Cuz some people don't know that. So, you know, or what what happened or remember they haven't tried it yet. Maybe. Yeah. If you're new to the game or even if you've been playing a while, you know, um after the first printing of the game, it was very wellreceived. Yeah. But people were immediately like, "Hey, it takes a long time to do things. Well, I'm going across the map. I'm I'm gathering, you know, harvesting and mining materials to go crafting, but it takes hours. You got

to get back. You got to go all the way back to the fort and all that stuff." So, in the second printing, we added some rules. We had an update pack that addressed a lot of these issues, and it did help with that uh quite a bit. and and people liked those changes. So, we listened to our community and we're going to do that again in this third reprint and we've got a new mode called cinematic mode. Okay. It addresses two main things. One of those things is getting across the map. Yes. So, uh getting across the map is going to be a lot easier now. So, you're saying like teleporters kind of you you have a lot more options to just skip battles with mystical plus tech kind of teleporting. All right. Yeah. a little bit of fast travel. Like fast travel like like fast travel for your for your the stuff that you're gathering. Okay. So, you're going to gather these materials and instead of having to go all the way across the map to the fort, you can stop at a city and just teleport the materials there. Oh, okay. And you have access to the stuff that's in the fort from any city. Okay.

That's very video game like I like. That's actually very that makes quality of life. People have been asking for it. Yeah. And uh it's definitely going to help move across the map and do different. So you were talking about other quality of life stuff that you kind of are changing and we we're kind of moving into this new stuff here. Um so less grinding. That's that's actually like really good. I haven't played with the new rules yet. So that's that's that's actually a lot. That's a lot. Yeah. That's a lot. Now you also have these uh boards here. We do. Yeah. So this is something new. It is. So, we worked with game trays on and we've got one of the two new boards that we are going to have for the reprint. This is the first one. This is the guard ability dashboards. And these mainly add functionality. So, in the reprint and mainly in the expansion, there's a lot of card flipping. Yeah.

You're going to be flipping your cards to the other side and you're going to be removing them and replacing them with other cards. So, this allows you to do that quickly. just quality of life. You know, it's like when I do this, I have to kind of like maybe dig my nail into it a little bit. That's right. We don't want that. You don't want that. Now, we do we still love these boards, these dual layer ones with the graphics and stuff, but this is just a it's it gives people options. No, I like Yeah, I like the slip. I like the slip, but yeah, I it I mean there's room for sleeving and stuff, but like there is on both on the new one, too. There's room for sleeving and stuff, but I just don't like to do that as much. So, yeah, it's really nice. So, those are new. And then the main thing is people say, and they're right, we designed the components pretty large. It's a it's a it's a table eater. And one of the quality of life things that we're doing is these enemy dashboards, the new veil trays from Game Trays, cut these in half. So you can have four of these boards in the space of two. Oh, so huge table space savings and it it looks great. So yeah, we're looking forward to that. Um, and the main thing with cinematic, going back to that. Yeah. The biggest thing out of the whole new mode that saves on the grind, tell me I I talked about skipping battles. Yeah. But the way this works is when you're going from node to node on the map and you're going against enemies, when you defeat an enemy, there's going to be a new enemy index and you're going to checkbox the enemy that you defeated. Yeah. And when you come back to that node again or a different part of the map and you encounter that enemy again, if you've

defeated them, you can choose to just skip the battle all together and get all the loot. So, it just cuts down the time huge and you're still getting all the rewards and level up. It makes the whole thing streamlined so they can focus on the story. That's uh and keeps all the mechanics in place. Huh. Yeah, that's a really good idea. That's a really cool idea. People have been loving it. So, we released this already. They didn't People don't need new components or anything. We just released the the new rule PDF and people have been utilizing it and and loving it so far. So, that that just lets you know I haven't played the game in a while cuz Yeah, I need to I need to correct that. Wow. Yeah. Okay. It's a big change. Yeah, that's a big change. So, now we have our Veil Ward stuff here. Is there anything else you wanted to share with like just kind of leading up to this cuz that was Yeah. Yeah. That's Wow.

There's a lot that the reprint uh I don't think we mentioned at the beginning. The reprint is coming on June 17th. Yes. I don't know when you'll be watching this, but June 17th on Game Found. Yep. And we're going to have the reprint of the base game and we're going to have this new expansion called Veilward. And we'll talk about that. Yeah. So, new expansion and you were just telling me that this is a basically a campaign that comes after Yes. the events, correct? Uh that happened in Isoparing Guard. So just go ahead and walk us through some of the things that are going on because all this is spoilers. So it's like yes, just realize we're kind of being very vague. Yep. Very vague. The characters here, you you may not know all their backstory. We're going to keep it vague as possible. Okay. Uh so that you at least seen some of the gameplay and get an idea of that, but not necessarily all the goods. Okay.

So we won't blow the whole campaign, but still. That's true. Yeah. We don't want to spoil the story. And we'll do the same thing on the campaign. So, just so you know, going forward here, you're not going to see anything that we're not going to show on the campaign, and you're not going to ruin it for the the main story either. All right, bro. Let it go. Let's do it. Let's see. Let's see. Let's see. So, two new guards. This happens after the main story. We've got Ray and we've got Luca. And these two play completely different than the guards in the first game. So, the mechanics are fresh and they're a little bit more complex. So these are people that going to be playing Veil Ward are experienced in playing Daring Guard. They're familiar with the core mechanics and all those core mechanics return. Yeah. In the expansion, but we've added some a little bit more crunchy mechanics, a little bit more strategy.

So there's going to be less battles in Veilward, but the battles will be more grand and meaningful. Yeah. Uh and in Veilward, you're going to see more exploration. You're going to see more story events and field events and things like that. So it really balances out the game quite a bit. This this sounds uh it sounds very expansion, but it's like there is a good story to tell. A lot of good story to tell in Isoper. I was going to say that's another big thing. I know some people aren't like heavy on narrative, but the narrative actually is really good writing. Uh so yeah, David did a great job. He did a really good job with this writing. So I I like to hear that there's a lot more of that exploration stuff in there. It just depends on what you do with the mechanics in there cuz I haven't played the new stuff yet. uh you know if that's if some of the elements from the previous uh game have kind of developed and continued to flourish and that that's that's a good sign. I'm excited about this. Okay, keep me keep me going. Get me excited. I haven't he hasn't told me everything before we turn on the camera. So I'm like get me excited. Get me excited. So you're finding out when they're finding out. I'm going to be a backer. So I'm just waiting. Tell me tell me more. So the more the expansion and we said this on the campaign page already. This expansion is not a normal C expansion where it's just like a small thing added. This very well could have been its own game, right? Okay. So, the length of Veilward is about 60% of the story of the core game. Oh, wow. So, it's got some it's got some meat on it for sure. Okay. Um, so the value is there. There's over a,000 new cards in the expansion. Yeah. You just like

thousands. There there's there's a tray of another 120 chips. Oh my goodness. So, in addition to the 240 and you're going to be utilizing all the old chips. all the old boards. Um, one big change is the map. So, you can see how big this map of in Veil. You're going to have this map of Isa completely there, but it's different. It's Oh, and I can't we can't show it all. It's not here, but you're not even going to see the full thing on the campaign because the map itself would be spoilery. What happened in the story has changed is so certain cities, certain landmarks are going to look different. Now, we're going to show some of those, okay? And the opposite side of the map will be the country that's below Isafar, but the full thing called Falman. So, you'll have two full countries to explore. Okay. Tons of nodes. Okay. And one of the huge differences, and I know a lot of our returning backers are going to love this, and I didn't even tell you about this, the mini maps. If you remember the mini maps, yes, the mini maps. So, when you go into a a city, one of these orange nodes, uh you have a mini map that kind of blows up into the city, and it's got all these little nodes in it.

Before all the nodes were green. Y if you remember green nodes you can't really interact with. You just go to them and do do that. So a lot of uh feedback that we got is like why do I even need to take the mini map out? Exactly. Like it it looks cool and I could do that but like I could just go to the city on the main map and whatever. So we thought about that and we're like why don't we expand exploration and the mechanics more in the in the expansion veil ward to utilize the mini maps more. Okay. So to do that, you got me going here. Yeah, the mini maps are completely different. So you're going to see yellow nodes in mini maps and the things that you can interact with like the blacksmith, the market, the inn will have incentives for going there, bonuses. I can go to the blacksmith and get free bonus chips added to my bag. Ooh, yes. Completely different. So different buildings will have different functions now. Okay.

Outside of more so than Right. Okay. Yes, that's what I that's what I mean. Yeah. And here's the biggest thing. Here's the biggest thing for exploration. Keep talking. Remember I mentioned that new mode for the base game, cinematic mode. So, there's no cinematic mode in the expansion, but the way these two can move across the map is completely different. I'm not going to say how they do it, okay? But when you come across a battle, these two can switch into a different part of the world called the veil. they can go into the veil. When they go into the veil, okay, they can just skip any battle completely and just skip across the map. So, wa anytime they do that, so they cuz you got two huge countries to explore in this game. So, how are you going to get across it? So, these two can just say, "Hey, I'm going to go from here, you know, eight nodes over here without doing any battle." Oh my goodness. But to do that, they're not even going to draw from the event bag like normal.

Instead, there's a new board on the table here that's going to be utilized. Now, this is wild. This is not final yet. This is still samples. What is this, dude? Look at this thing. This new board, this is the first time it's been seen outside of our team, too. I told a materious I was like, "What is this, dude?" So, there's a meter on this board. And this we might put this meter somewhere else, too. We're not sure yet. But the way this works is when these two characters skip across the map and they don't choose to battle, when they slip into the veil, they're going to raise uh the tension on this meter. And you can see there's like these little icons with these hands on them. Yeah. When they get to particular values on this meter, something inside of the veil is aware that they are moving in like this spiritual realm. So, okay. So, they're going Okay, that's okay. So we go into the spirit realm where they don't belong. Where they don't belong. And then that's they're kind of like wrestling and making people go where who are those people? Why are they here? And they kind of go following. They Yeah.

Something is in the veil that says you shouldn't be here. Okay. And when that happens and they get to a certain value, particular chips are going to be added to the to the event bag. All right. Now you got to be looking now. Yes. Now this once again, this isn't the the final one, the final chip. A chip like this is going to be in the bag. When that chip is drawn, after that happens, something that you don't want to encounter will come on the map and start chasing the characters down. Oh, and it's going to create a lot of tension and a lot of danger as you're exploring across the map. Yeah. Completely different. Completely different. But you're probably wondering what these other things are on this. Dude, I like to put gems and things. You've been messing around with us. I like to put gems and things. So this is something brand new in Veil War cuz these are similar to like the It is. So that's why I'm like what are we doing? It is and it has to do with that too. Okay. Fire. So this is the elemental ring system. Okay. So many of you are probably uh familiar with limit breaks in the Final Fantasy series. They're like ultimates. Okay, we're still here now. You can you can kind of think of this system as something similar. So, anytime the guards activate their stoneman ability cards, and you can see the elements on them, they're element based. When they activate them, that element is activated for them, and they will take that color gem and they will add it to the elemental ring on their board. So, everybody has their own both. They have their own. Yeah, each guard has their own elemental ring. Once the ring is

full, they will be able to activate their ultimate card that will say there. Yeah. And like I said, this isn't final yet, but this is the way the mechanic works. Um, and these two are very strong compared to the older guards in the core game. And they can just They seem kind of beasty like you they can do a lot. Yeah, they seem beasty compared to what So, it's a it's an ultimate. Yeah, two and one and three. Like these are like two one two one like that. Yeah, these are pretty pretty awesome. Okay. I don't I want to see what's in here. Oh, so this is something completely different. Yeah, we didn't even talk about this yet. I know. I just I just want to So yeah, there's there's another deck of cards on this board. And in the core game, you've got bag building. Okay. But in the expansion, we've got deck building. Oh. Oh, yeah. We didn't even mention it yet. So, okay, cool. Deck building is something new. So, these guards are going to have their normal skill trees just like the base game, but they're going to have two skill trees.

Okay. The second skill tree has to do with their deck. So, you're going to be unlocking new cards for your deck and building this deck. So when they go into that veil, the battle changes completely and you start drawing cards from this deck. So, oh, we're not going to go through the whole thing right now, but I can show you really quick. Okay, so let's say we are in a battle and these two swish into the veil. Okay, so at the end of the round, the players have the options to to switch into the veil. So when that happens, you would clear everything that's on their guard ability board. Yep. And then you would actually flip over this card. Oh, you dude. What is this?

So they turn into a transformed version of themselves. So this is what they become in the veil. Much stronger, new abilities, and you actually add new cues to their dashboard that make their Go ahead. Go ahead. No, no, I'm just saying I wanted to be that guy. That's cool. You liked her. These are cool. No, these are cool. So, they get a lot stronger in the veil. Okay. So, they become these different beings. Yes. Exactly. Right. And the enemies play completely different, too. And we can talk about that in a bit. Okay. But you have instead of drawing chips, you switch to the deck and you actually draw you draw cards from your deck and play them onto the board. So, here's the cool thing. All the all the ability cards are removed from the board and you start drawing and playing these cards onto the grid.

That's slick. Oh, I love this. I love this design. And these are completely different. Yeah. So, take a look at this. Go ahead and play the first card you draw or drew called Lantern. It should be the top card. Yeah. Lantern. So, just play it anywhere on there. So, I play it here. Yep. All right. So, you can see there's these little elemental icons on and we'll probably show this on the screen so you can see it closer. But these elements uh you want to link them together so where you place cards on the map. So, I see on the sides. Exactly. Right. So, there's there's these uh icons on the sides and below. So, Oh, that's And players can take turns uh comboing their cards together. So, a lot of co-op action. So, if you look at your other cards, we're playing on We're both playing on that board. Yeah, there's two. We could play on each other's boards and on our own. Yeah, that's right. That's right. Cuz you can transfer stuff in on it. Yeah, that's right. Yep. Yep. So, you can see where this is going. Yeah. Yeah. Let's say you played this card. Yep. See how it's got a darkness here? And then you have the dark that plays with that link. When that happens, same thing happens. It goes the elemental ring. You see where this is going? Yes. Yes. Now, one thing we didn't mention is that's sick, man.

We're not drawing chips, but instead we are using chips, okay, that we built up in the first phase. These are new veiled chips that we're spending on these cards. So, okay. Yes. Okay. All right. So, all right. So, there's a lot there's a lot going on. These are definitely way more advanced than the normal ones. Here they are. Um, so yeah, dude. Jeez. Jeez. We think people are going to like it. Jeez. All right. It is. So, what are these tokens that I'm uh doing here? I guess we should kind of kind of give the combat thing unless you want to give me anything else before we get into it. Just a little bit of combat just to show. No, we can go back and show some of the basic combat stuff and how it's different than the base game. So, let's let's switch back to our normal modes here. Boom. All right. Now that you see that, like I didn't even flip that over.

So, I know. So, yeah. Surprise. Yeah. All right. So, we start off basically start off a battle. We have these two uh we have a two Briggins here that we're going to be facing off against. And just to give you a couple ideas of how this game works because I haven't even played with the characters yet. They're a little bit more advanced. He's going to walk us through it. Yep. But typically what you're going to do is we go, we decide on the order, which is always important in this game because you you're kind of interacting off of each other. So the pace of which you play both matters because some characters, just like the initial campaign, it's kind of like I set them up, you knock it down, like a little bit of back and forth. And each set of characters plays off that a little bit. So interaction is really important and communication is very important. So with that being said, you have these action cubes here. You're going to have uh two or three just depends on the character. Uh and you also have your health up here, how much their normal uh normal attacks are, and then also their shields. They'll also have uh different different weapons and different items there. Someone will give you abilities during after and you also have your base attack. You also have like cars that you tuck under here like your little inventory and you'll have resources when you go around the about the land. I mean like lumber you're going to be dragging different types of resources around that'll be on your board. But for battle purposes um I actually have some gauntlets and I want to start the battle getting some extra stuff here. Um so I get to add one of these and we both have one of those on so I'm going to add that too. So basically we're going to look at this bag here. Depending on how many of these pieces you have, uh you're going to pull

out uh those chips. And we have different types of chips in our bag. Uh we have shields, we have swords, and we have a sword and board combination. Those chips will go on top of these, and that's how we activate them. You can also use two of any uh to create one. Uh so you have your base attack as well. That's why you have that here. And then we have our top row with our abilities and our bottom row with what you would call what do you call those? The stone abilities. And those can be in any slot. We just decided to put them. They just could be in any slot. Uh so just to give you an idea, let's go ahead and pull Let's go ahead and pull some uh chips. You go first. Oh, how about that? How about that? Let's see here. And I'm just There we go. Okay. Plus one. Hey, he's got strength in right out the bat. Plus one. He's going to be Hey, and that doesn't count. That doesn't count.

Neither is this. Only black. Only black count against. Yes. So, he's going to have quite a few resources to start. There we go. Uh, Libra. Okay. Everything about So strengthen goes. All right. So strengthen goes here. Yep. Right. Yep. So your strengthen your strength is now or your attack is five right now. Yes. Attack is five. So we're going to go with sword and board which is going to go here. That's one. Okay. What does that do? That's going to give me one health chip. One health chip. And that's to both bags I think. Yeah. To both bags. So we get health in our bag. Great. And then also I can do one of these flames here to draw a a chip for the bag. Yep. And do you want to do that? Yeah. Okay. So, we'll spend one of those. Yep. So, I spend one of those. And those are called That's a new resource in Veil word called Sacred Flames. Okay. Part of the new mechanics of these two. Yeah. And then uh I flip one one of Ray's nonactive cards. So, you can flip radiant spear. I'm definitely flipping radiant spear cuz I have a good feeling. All right. All right. Cool. All right. So, I have Oh, I have Oh, you have just enough to do it.

And I have no passion for it. Yes, you do. All right. The perfect draw. I know. This is the perfect draw. All right. So, I want to use these two swords. And then I have these two shields, which are going to be a sword. All right. So, I have three swords. I have two activation cubes. And it says attack all enemies for plus two. And you're already at five. So, seven. Yes. And then if I spend two, I also can uh What's that one there? That is a new chip. Yeah. What is this? That's called burn. So that Let's do the damage first and then we'll talk about that cuz I literally fried these guys. Okay. So we have four, five, six, seven. Yes. All right. So seven damage against attack all employees. Yep. So he's taking five. Five. Yep. One, two, three, four, five. He's down to five.

And same thing here. Down to five. Okay. Half in one. Pay two. Yes. To put burn on them. You can to all targets. So, you want to do that? Let's do it. So, we're going to put burn on both burn. And the cool thing about Ray, if you remember, and we I think we said this off camera, is she can repeat her keyword if she wants, if she's got the resources to do it. So, you could do that again and put two burns on there. Oh, I could. So, I could spend the two. Oh, I could repeat. Huh? Yes. That's That's As long as you have the resources to do it. Fry them, bro. Let's do it. Let's fry them, bro. So, the way burn works is anytime beginning their activation. No, every card that they draw, they take one HP damage for every Let them have it. So, any enemies that draw into their deck card, this punishes that. And I know previous players are going to love that because they don't like enemies that draw a lot of cards. Yeah. There's a lot of tension in that. When they draw those cards, though, you're like, "Oh, please get that." Yeah. get the soft attack where they'd heal one or something.

Yeah. Now, one thing we did not do What's that? Because I we're not going to go into the veil in this battle cuz they're number one, they're going to be dead. Yeah. But two, uh the these enemies don't have a veil. Okay. Uh AI deck right here. Okay. So, one thing that we would have done is every time that these two new characters use their keyword, they generate one of these new chips. So, you activated purify three times total. So, you would have got three of these veil orb chips and they would have gone on her dashboard. And what are they? They're used in the veil. Those are used in the veil to activate these ch these cards that you're drawing. Let's simulate that. That was just a crazy awesome turn. And then uh your turn. Take your turn. Yeah, let's just Yeah, let's just Yeah, we can simulate it. Simulate it. Yeah. You've gone, they go. Um so when they go, they're going to be flipping cards and there's like a front a back row.

Correct. So from that Yep. Right. Front and back row. they would activate their cards from top to bottom. Correct. Uh the aggro token is passed back and forth from who last attack and that's the reason why uh the order is important in this game because it's whoever attacked last but then the enemies you kind of get to know their pattern a little bit but you know hey they're going to be attacking the lowest in their aggro. So they'll be they'll look at this. It says the lowest shields I have the lowest shields. It'll say or and then aggro. So in that order it says sword thrust. So that's going to take one of its cubes. It'll move the cube over and it'll do an attack plus two. So it'll say what's that? Two is four. So four. So I would actually take one damage. One damage. Yep. Yep. Not a big deal. And then it says if attack deals no damage, draw one card. Okay. So that's basically it. Now remember he had burn. Yes. And you drew.

Yes. So he gets two. He's done to one. And actually I had a standard attack, so he'd be done. He'd be done. He'd be done. All right. He And then we have this one here. uh heal himself. Yep. So zero gain a cube. So he would gain a green for doing that. Yep. And then draw a card. Then he would also lose two. Yeah, he would lose two. And then let's see here. Highest. Okay. So So that's going to be both of us have five. So it's going to come to me again, bro. Because you have that. And then it's going to do Pearson shot. So he'll hit me for five. Four. Wait, four. Four. Yep. Four against. And I have a defense of three. So I'm just taking one. One. And then this one says, what is that? Add two. Looks like two break. Two break. Two breaks go to my bag. Okay. So not good.

And then quick shot. And he hits me again for one. Yeah. And he takes two more damage. Yep. So he's down to one. More damage. He's down to one. Okay. So now that we're just going to go ahead and and overkill these guys. What do we got here? So we are we are done with our turn. That's basically a Yeah, that's like one round. That's basically one round, but we're in between. So, you were saying you could go to the veil? Yeah, if we were to go to the veil here at the end of the round, we would switch. So, so let's just simulate it and kind of get an idea. So, we're going to go to the veil. We're going to switch to the opposite side. Y and these two get stronger. So, we're going to place these blue cubes. Okay. Uh two above where you currently are on attack and defense. Okay. So, I got an attack of six now and a defense of four. Okay.

So, here. All right. Yep. And then and these chips would obviously be cleaned up. This would be a new round. But what we would do is we would draw cards from this board equal to our cubes just like we are drawing. It works the same way except as cards. So go ahead and draw two. And then I will draw two. I got three. Oh, you do have three. That's right. All right. And now based off what we drew, then we would start playing cards on the grid. And these would be played on this grid. I'm doing this for the sake of time. Oh, okay. So, they'd be played on the Okay. Yes, they these cards would be cleaned up and we play them right on here. But for for now, take a look at your cards and and if you got the the chips, you play them on the Hey, you know, um this one says shift adjacent cards up two spaces. Okay, so this is like you can also move them across things like that. So, you can be like, "Hey, let's reposition this." So this actually looks like a more advanced version of like where you start at in in ISO cuz it's like in the beginning the one guy's like a a potion kind of personary. Yeah. Apothecary and then the other one is like more of a he's like a sword and sword and board kind of guy but like he he has like a combo thing that he does. So it's these guys they all play off of each other but I'm assuming this is at another level because just like this is a lot of positioning cards. Yeah. Ray uh draws one draws one card. If I play this one here. Yes. So, she started with lantern.

So, I may want to play that here. Yes. And it says we both draw one card. So, we both draw one card. So, that's a that's the perfect card to start. That's the perfect card to start with. And it costs zero. It cost zero. It cost zero. It's perfect. Now, one thing we didn't talk about is these new cards, you'll notice have a number, a Roman numeral on the bottom right. Part of their skill tree is these cards could be leveled up. So, new ways and new mechanics in this game is you're not just going to unlock ability cards and they they're just set. You can actually upgrade the card so where the card gets different versions. You'll have more elemental choices and the actual effect will change too. So, they'll get better over time. That's sick. Yep. This is a lot of good stuff. It's good stuff. It's fun. A lot of good stuff. This is just a sample of a lot of things that are going on in ISO of this new ISO stuff. Mhm. Veil Ward has a lot.

Um, is there anything else you want to share about this? Like just as far as gameplaywise? Yeah, I think we covered the the main stuff. New exploration, new mini maps, a new battle phase, 60% of the the size story-wise, FourTellers coming back. Okay. So, another 10 hours of audio with orchestral music with it. Less than 40 lbs. Oh, yes. It's going to be way less than 40 lbs. And And people are like this. Yeah. I don't Do you have a kellix? You have a call. It'll fit in a cali. Yes, it will fit. Oh, it's my word. It's gonna fit right there on It's gonna fit in a cali. Okay. So, it's not going to have to go on top of the shelf. Um Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. That was something that uh if I could go back in time. I know. It's tough. It's tough, boy. Yeah.

You got a lot of box, boy. You got a lot of box. There's a lot of content. There's a lot of content in it. Yeah. And when people look at this reprint campaign and and they they look at the price point, there's a lot. Yeah. Um and 1,700 cards, 240 uh weighted chips. These are nuts. Huge books. The campaigns. This is a a game that'll give you a lot of hours of enjoyment. Um I I designed this for, you know, to play with a close friend or a loved one for many hours of enjoyment. And we feel as Sky Kingdom Games, we feel like if we create moments of joy in people's lives, we've done our job well. That's kind of been our tagline. And uh we we want to continue doing that with Isoperian Garden. We we've been blown away by the reception of this game. I'm uh BG. I think we're sitting at like an 8.7 8.6 or something like that. Um and that has just been amazing to see how many people love this game. Yeah, the story, the mechanics, it just keeps us going and we want to continue doing that in Veil War.

Well, you got enough content. So, yes, we have a lot of content. There's a lot to dig into and I like I said, this is my game of the year for a reason. I think it tells a great story, but I love bag and this does a really good job of that. And I I like where this is going. I absolutely love where this is going. I mean, thanks for all the surprises. This is a lot. There's a lot. There's a lot. And uh this is just scratching the surface, too. This is scratching the surface cuz if this is the beginning of it, it's the very Yeah, this is the very beginning. The very beginning of it. Yeah, we're not showing a ton because I see some chips over there. I'm like, what are those? There's a lot of different chips, a lot of different cards. We're not showing a ton. You have to wait. Yeah, we didn't even see the veil versions of these guys, like the different characters. So, I guess we could kind of segue into something I didn't mention. Oh, well, you didn't mention what? So, this is kind of the first time this has even been revealed.

I didn't even talk about this yet. So, in the veil, enemies now have their own chip bag. What? They have a chip bag. So, the AI is different. That's So, they're going to draw chips from a bag and that'll determine what happens on their deck, and you can manipulate their bag. You're you're going to start adding chips to their bag to mess with their AI. Okay. It's a really cool system. We think people are going to love it. We really we stretched the design a lot. Yeah. To make it very interesting. it to the limit. I like it. That's right. That's right. Push it to the limit for for love, right? For the people who really, right, it's a passion project. All right. Well, thank you so much for coming and showing me all this good stuff. I mean, hey, it it's worth the time. I'm I'm here just enjoying the ride. Um, so yeah, thank you for your time. So, once again, when can they back this game? I mean, by the time this video goes up, I'm assuming the campaign will be live. So, yeah. So, it's on Game Found June 17th. It's going to launch at 10:00 a.m. in the morning, Central time.

Yeah. And it's going to end July 11th at midnight. So, It's coming up. All right, we're excited about it. Hey, man, this is Yeah, this is this is something to be excited about.
