0:06 UK games Expo 20124 byy what are you showing off for us today well this is uh this is kugo uh this is a dexterity based game all around flicking the SLE Puck and the thing about kugo is it's not just one game it's actually a box to make lots of games so it's a game making kit everything from Small Tricks to party games all the way to bigger Longer team based games it's a kit to be as creative as you can be and basically just Enders flicking games out of it so what you've got here is a framework for creating games and also you've got games in the box and what I've also seen you've got games online right as well yeah exactly yeah so we are in the rule book there are four games you can play as well as um some of the small party games and then online I think we have about 12 games but we've got loads more that we're going to be adding up and people can submit their own games yeah so if you create a good game you can create one and then we name you game creator as well fantastic so we're going to get the B stupid version of kouo that's going to go on the website looking forward to that excellent now um I heard some great news earlier from you as a matter of fact in the first take which you won't see they've actually funded in six hours right nine hours nine hours n hours well it's the other way around from a six whatever same number really that's amazing stuff so and people can go back to this still on Kickstarter right yeah we've got about two two and a bit weeks left um to back it you can get uh the KGO play or the kugo tricks depending on uh what version you want the play is more creative the tricks is more for party games yeah um

3:06 all different seafood that you would find in the Japanese fish market so we have some tuna scollops shrimps urchin ills and puffer fish all of this artwork has been hand painted with traditional Japanese Wonderful by the way yeah really really cool yeah we're really proud of it so you know to get that kind of style and aesthetic and the idea is that you are trying to shed all the cards from your hand ultimately get rid of them yep you're getting rid of them like Scout or something like that similar to Scout and you're a bit like Uno you're trying to match either the suit or the number as your laying cards but you can p more than one card of the same number so that's where you build these stacks of cards and the value is what's important the value is what's important fantastic so with this game this is your first ever release it is yes and it's coming to crowdfunding Y so we're going to crowdfund on Kickstarter in October this year we literally launched the business in in January so it's been pretty quick Rapids Rapids yeah we going a few months and then here at ukge 202 for our first ever exhibition so first time exhibiting excited is it going to be available to play test that this uh this week absolutely yep so we got a play test table set up we'll be demoing and talking through it so we'd love to have you guys over to play I'm you kidding me we'll be over to play some uh play some SC Stacks that sounds amazing to me if people want to know more where do they go uh so they can go on our Instagram which is just out half no more and also our website which is www.of more. co.uk and then they can find out more this looks like a super fun ice like car game and I'm very excited to play test that so if you are interested please go check out the website and sign up for more news for the kickstarter going live if

4:38 you like this video you know what to do hit the Subscribe button hit the like button hit the rest of our content and we'll catch you again real soon Mike thanks so much brilliant thank you we're here with Dave looking at shape Invaders and if you've been following this channel you would have seen that we have seen this and played this and I beat Tom at this very game how is it going mate well going really well um so and it's due to come to Kickstarter later on this year so this is going to be going live on crowdfunding this year yeah yes in in uh in the Autumn is the current plan yes fantastic so shall I say a little bit about the game tell us what it is yeah for those that haven't seen uh so I'm I'm Dave I'm one of the co-designers of the game with Robert fire breath shape invades it's a flicking dexterity game where you control a star Fleet a fleet consisting of a other ship four Shields and six attackers you set up your Fleet however you like in your half of the Galaxy and then you take it in turns to flick them trying to knock your opponent not yourself out of the out of the Galaxy KN myself like so this is the Galaxy this is out of space the aim of the game is to knock your opponent's mother ship and all four four Shields into out of space if the mother ship is knocked out it can respawn in place of another Shield so you get the shield also act as extra Li so you need the ideally get the shields gone and then the Mother Ship oh cool cool now you can't flick the shields but you can flick the attackers you can flick the Mother Ship sorry that's what I mean sorry yeah yeah fantastic um so this the

6:11 game can be played on any surface any table um and so when it comes to Kickstarter you just be able to buy the the pieces themselves but it will also come with an option to buy a net to go around the table so if the pieces falling cat yeah and UV flood lighting the pieces glow brilliantly in the dark oh nice the best thing on the kickstarter will be the the table yeah um so the table will be on legs uh again with inbuilt UV lighting looks really good oh you got all in on that that's amazing and then the option of having a uh near PR playm as well fantastic so a number of different options for people to play how they wish um and for those people who played it before um please to say that as part for the kickstarter then the the pieces are going to be injection molded so theyve they this is prototype for for that it's got an air cushion underneath so it goes even faster that's really it really pings man and the kickstarter Edition will shine like the original yeah they they really go they do yeah they really go this one goes even more so yeah these are cool amazing stuff so um and then with the with the table itself it incorporates the hyperspace expansion they hit the edge and bounce back in they've walked through hyperspace back into the game so that's nice one of the added bonuses of getting the that is amazing dude so it's been published by Camden games Camden games yeah um and yeah they did asteroid dice last year so as soon as the asteroid

7:42 dice Kickstarter is they finish fulfilling that then they'll be moving to to uh uh launch shape Invaders fantastic stuff so hopefully later in the year what sort of price point are we looking for backers so uh I've not spoken recently to Gavin but the original plan was about 20 to 25 for the base game about 3540 or so with the with the net and um the table uh I think will be in the order of about 150 to2 200 but uh Gavin Gavin's been working on the table so it may have changed a little bit from when I last spoke to him then you play other stuff with the table as well well yeah you you get your own built-in games table with UV lighting it's fantastic that sounds amazing dude that's incredible and but the nice thing is that the B game at around about the 20 Mark you'll be able to take that with you it comes with a a nice little bag so you can put the pieces in your pocket take it and play it anywhere this you know we talk about Pub games yep that's that could be one of those right a bag in a pub game that is one of those I've even played it on a picnic table outside of Pub which adds to the interest because got the SL the gaps in between extra challenge fantastic yeah so whatever surface you played on it feels different depending on the friction size of the table but as I say the the the tournament tables fantast with the UV lighting it's brilliant that's the one that's the one Dave thank you so much for showing our shaping blers we're super excited to see the progress we
