Transcript 2:12

Let's play the brand new game, Mood Swings. Excitement. We each draw five cards from the same deck. You can play one mood per round. The dice in the top right indicates the mood's value. You add up your mood value after each round, and the first of three points wins.

All right, the bomb card of the deck is generosity. When's the last time you felt generous, Josh?

I was literally just packing up giveaway stuff.

You absolutely win this one. You go first.

All right, I'm going to play suspicion.

Ooh, its value is three. And more importantly, you have to discard a card from your hand.

I don't like that. I will discard complacency.

Go ahead. I'm just going to play ambivalence, which is a six that turns into three if there are two or more red or green moves.

But I I only have a black one.

Uhhuh.

All right. You have six value. I have three. So, you get the point.

You get the point.

I'll draw a card. And

I go first. Yep.

I'm going to play tranquility. And I have an even number of cards in play. So, it's currently just a three.

I'm going to start off by playing hope, which lets me play an additional mood on my turns.

And that's going to flip my ambivalence to a three.

And then I'm going to play chivalry. And because I didn't go first this turn, it's actually five value.

Ah, nice. So, I have eight and I only have six. So, I will get the point for this round.

I will draw a card.

Okay, I am going first. So, Shivers's Valio is three. I'm going to play idealism. And I can play two more moods this turn, but I'm actually not going to do that.

Ah, holding cards in your hand. I like it.

I don't know if that's the right play, but I haven't played this enough times to know.

I'm going to play friendliness, which lets me play an additional mood with a value of two. So, I'm going to play hesitation, which is going to put a red or green mood into its owner's hand. So, hope is going to go back home.

Oh, no. Hope back to my hand. And ambivalence is now flipped over. And I have a value of 13 on the board.

And I have eight because idealism lets chivalry count as five. But that's still not enough to beat you. All right, I'll draw a card. And you are going first, Jimmy. So chivalry is a five on its own. Now

I only have one card left in my hand. I'll play disgust, which comes in at three. And tranquility is now going to become a six.

So you've got 19.

19.

All right. I'm going to play hope back out.

That'll turn back over.

So you've got a total of 16 still.

Yep.

What the heck? I don't think I can get there. And next I'm going to play spite and I'm going to make you discard your tranquility cuz it's an even value. But I think you still have 10 and I've only got nine.

Yeah, I got 10

and I'm at nine.

Oh, close game.

Yeah, that was really back and forth. And we should say Muchings is a secret layer.
