Edo's Party Panda Pirates Review

hey everybody Edo here and this is party Panda Pirates the good Folks at detestable games sent me along a copy and uh this game is a blast uh and a lot of a lot that fit in a pretty small box but basically um the testall games had another game called dodo's riding dinos and that game effectively was Mario Kart the board game were like traveling around board sending attacks at each other all these sort of things and it was a whole lot of fun this is basically Mario party the board game and actually reminds me a lot of another game uh catastrophe where it's like a setup for basically a bunch of mini gamess but this game is gorgeous so uh basically at the start of the game everyone is going to effectively be dealt mini games they all have different names this is a hat Stacks or uh confetti cannonballs the art is just Delight full fun Duty deck Duty um Turtle hopping and every single one of these is a unique rule set in the game but so you player start with some and they like lay them out in different islands and basically uh you're going to put your your Panda into your ship this is like this giant 3D model and shoot it for the hopes of uh getting close on the island so there's like a little dexterity thing here where you get a couple uh you can get a bonus coin but basically you do this to then pick your miname so each of these mini games is
different they're a combination of like dexterity push your luck like you know it's like all sorts of just creative stuff I mean there's like I don't know uh let's see how many there's got to be a number here there's something like 25 26 of these and you know some of them are like stacking dice on the top of this or off the side some of it is throwing Cards into a box or laying out these other C these other you know tiles and like moving around them so each game is just a very different fun quick activity you do with the other players some of them let you bet on who you think is going to win the activity um and that's like the heart of it the heart of it is each one of them is like fun and entertaining like stacking cards on top of like making a stack and trying to carry it around like all sorts of that kind of silly fun mix not so much a bunch of like act like a act like a hyena sort of uh games but mostly a combination of a physical dexterity element or some sort of bluff or card play but all anything you have to be able to learn it in like a a minute it comes with the rule cards which are pretty on one side and then have all the details on the other but then they have this little guide where you can go it's like it it's literally like if you play Mario party and you hit the rule button um and it gives you like a one-page description of how to play uh that's what this is and so basically you're earning some coins you're moving around a board collecting chests and and you know the person who sort of does the best will win it doesn't have the I guess to make a little bit of a
comparison most of it's in the mini game there's a little bit of that sort of what happens as you move around the board element but not not as over the top as like modern Mario Party games if you want to get really like specific here uh a lot of dice dice place and dice games along with card stuff uh it's like exactly as advertised some of the little mini games are you know a little sillier than others you look forward to more than others and that kind of thing but um I I think they nailed it and and you know the Little Panda board map with a hat with the ears like the production value is topnotch there's like another on on the back so um I I I guess it would quival uh just if I have one is that uh the the board you spin the whatever this is the ship around and like it can sort of snag a little so I snagged my board a little bit so that was a little disappointing I I bet I'm not the only one who's going to have that problem um anyway party Panda Pirates thanks bye hey everybody Edo here and thanks for watching gaming with Edo reviews over here on this playlist league and Insider videos over here on this one subscribe share all that good stuff but most importantly play some great games thanks bye
