Eternal Sevens Board Game Teach and Playthrough

Board Gaymes James Aug 17, 2026
Transcript 1:38:18

Come here, B. You're my YouTube tax night. Hi, Bo. Today we're going to play Eternal Sevens. Yeah, we're going to start with the casual mode and see if we make it to uh the more advanced stuff. So to set up, throw the board down. It's made of fabric like Eternal Decks was. Has four different rows like Eternal Decks. Has these star tokens that are bigger though than Eternal Decks. Um and in a two-player game, you're going to add this common deck space and this discard deck space um over top of the two colors that you're not playing with. So Anony's playing red and I'm playing yellow. Uh in the casual mode, you're going to get four discs instead of what you would get is three in the other one.

And each person has a deck of 16 cards here. And this is a card shedding game. So, we are going to be trying to go out first or collect two star tokens first. On your turn, you can play a card, pass, or in the two-player game, grab one of these cards and then the opponent will get the other card and then we will refill this. When you pass, you can choose to strategically pass or you pass because you can't play. Um, you will then put your token onto one of these pass action spots. And so in a two-player game, we have up to four spots that we're going to play them. The first spot is the eternal action. Um, the ongoing eternal actions. This is very similar to the field restrictions in eternal decks. So each one of these has a condition of what we can and cannot do on our turn.

The other one is to get a rare card. The rare card is the same also as eternal decks. It counts as any of the numbers in the field and it can be played over top of um afterwards as well. Um so it's not going to block your other opponent. Uh and the last one is a discard action. The discard action um you can even do if it's the last card in your hand. So if you can't play the last card in your hand, you can pass using your discard action and still go out and win the game. To win the game, you have to be going out first or get to these tokens. To get these tokens, we have to have played the entire row. But we start in the center of the row with four, five, six, or seven denoted by these triangles here. And then we can play to either side of that. The twos and the nines have the eternal action here. That's going to reveal the instant eternal.

Similar um but these effects are going to happen immediately once someone plays the purple. the end of that line is going to get the star and then we have to play the next purple and continue around. Or if we're going the other way, same thing. We started from the four, we went this way, played the purple, we're going to mark off the five and then we're going to have to continue playing this way. The person who gets this last card played gets this token and you're going to put it up on your board and you get two of them and you win. That is the simple casual mode. back of the player board has all the instant and continuous eternals or sorry the rule book. Uh and then there is a gamer mode um that we'll try probably after this first one.

Game comes with a fancy dice to roll to see who goes first. I had won and I won again. Look at that. The Eternals are with me. Um, so you probably want to organize your hand by color. Unless you know that you played with card counters who can tell that you're organizing your hand by color and number, who are paying attention to your hand and what you're playing and might figure out what you have, then you don't want to do this. But, um, I don't think Anony's paying that much attention to my hand. And strategically, I think I want to go with what I could play the most of. um to try and get those stars. As well as in a traditional uh game of card shedding game of trying to go out, you also kind of want to continue things. So I think I will start with this here and then Anthony gets to take a turn.

Okay. I can't play off of Anthony. play off of myself though. Okay, that triggers an instant eternal. So, we have Skeletor, Mr. Skeleton. What's his artwork? He's a yellow looking thing. Choose one other player and pass them one card from your hand face down. Okay. So, I don't want to help Anthony out with his greens. So, I don't want to give him one of those. Um, and I probably want to pick like a high or a low card so that he has to hold on to it for a long time. So, I'm going to give him this card, which also helps me out because I now have one less card.

Uh, and I did that because I played a nine on the Instant Eternal. So, now it's back to Anony's turn.

I wonder if in a two-player game it actually you end up going out more by emptying your hand since there's 16 cards in the center here. Oh, right. That's where the six is and then you would get the seven of reds. So, I'm going to take this as my action, which means you get the seven of red. Then we get two new cards. Yeah.

Ooh, an infinity card. That's useful. Your turn.

Yep.

Oh, true. Cuz if neither of us started with the infinity cards, they're in there. We're going to be forced to take out of that deck. That's very interesting and neat. Possibly. Hey, B. This is not a game for dogs. Your hair's going to get everywhere. I'm going to take the infinity card. So, you get a nine. Oh, and of course the other infinity card. And another red card. Okay, back to you.

Oh, I missed triggering in the end.

Oh, yeah. Just do it now

because normally I think these are good. So, they're supposed to affect you. The kaibun. The next player skips their turn.

Oh,

so you take two turns.

Okie dokie.

Do another one.

Okay. Okay. We've got the mummy. The back of this doesn't have the name of these, though, so I have to look them up based off of the icon.

Everyone simultaneously chooses one card from their hand and passes it face down to the player to their left. Um, you did this. You played this. You still needed to go one more time.

Okay. So, I can play the infinity card. That throws this to here. So for Anthony to continue, he's going to have to play an infinity card there. So I'm slowing him down.

It's your turn. Oh, he had one anyways.

Oh, I played the two. I needed it. Um, internal borrow a flower looking thing. You declare a color and exchange one card with each player who has that color. Receive first, then give one card. Um, I will declare green. Ha. It's exactly what I wanted. You can have this.

Which I think is the card you gave me.

Yes.

That's my turn. I think. Oh, wait. That was me fixing my turn. Did I play that this turn? Let's just say I played that this turn. Your turn. I'm going to take this. You get an Infinity card. Nice. Got a three.

I'm going to pass and get a wild.

Take this in one. Play that as a four. Five. Yep. One you stole from me. Yep.

Infinity card and six. So, I'm the last to get that card. So, that goes to me. Although I think I might be setting Anthony up to do what I just did to him to me. Let's see.

I'm going to need this one. Okay, I'll pop this here to pop that there. Cool. Okay. Oh, that would be for helpful, but I already have one. Yeah, but I need one. Can you get one? Okay, this deck went down a lot faster than I thought. And all the purples were in it. mine. Yep.

Oh. Oh, you played a two. You need to do the instant before I do this. Those look like stars. You want to steal my stars? Move all the star blocks in the field to the opposite side. H interesting. That changed things.

Yeah, because I now I can't play that spot. Can I play to the left of the star or do I have to play on the floor? I think I have to play on the floor.

Yeah, that's the final space. So, I would have to go with four. Um

change can't let Anthony have this, but I am stuck up.

So, I do the dick move and discard the card Anthony needs.

That's fine. I'm going to go. Oh, use my Okay. Oh, I did. I got a my star. All right, D. Um, let's spice things up. Oh, wait. I did that in that and that and get an eternal. The jin spelled without the D. It's spelled with the D in the book. If you play a card on top of a rare, add that rare card to your hand. Oh, I discarded it. So, I only have one more pass action. Oh, I might have just screwed myself.

Oops. Your turn. Okay, I'm going to place that right there. Okay, I will take the two. Get purple. Get the star. You're a star. Okay, I will take the four. I will take the four.

Your turn.

Well, think I'm going to do this.

Thanks for putting that card out. Yeah. Uh, you get an instant dragon.

Choose one other player and swap your entire hand.

Okay.

Wow. I just set you up for the win.

Wait. So, mathematically, I know that you have these three cards. That was your turn. So, it's my turn. On your turn, you play this. My turn. Your turn. My turn. Your turn. So, I have to [ __ ] this up by placing something here. But then I would need to have both cards in order to mess up that turn order, which is not going to work. I am dead in the water. And I also only have one more pass action. So I will do my pass action and see if we get something useful to help me not be dead in the water. Unicorn, you can play one or to two cards from your hand.

Additional play tokens cannot be used. Okay, so now we can both play two cards, which uh doubly made me dead in the water because that gave you way too much time to do things. So this goes one, two to here. Oh, actually that helped me out because now I get it and I win.

Very close. Yeah, because I would only have this left and then you had that left and then the rest. Very interesting. Okay, so these got to get super shuffled and I will read gamer mode.

Okay, so that was the casual mode of eternal 7s. Very cool. So now in the Oh, you weren't supposed to know the card that I discarded. So you wouldn't have known that I discarded the four on you.

I

discard was supposed to be

I really would have guessed that.

Yeah. Oh, so that was casual mode beginner. Then there's casual mode standard. where you select eight random Eternals, but still don't use Ghost for two player.

Um, and then eight or more of the continuous. So really, you can just play with all of them at this point in the standard game. Um, and then you add in the additional play tokens, the X tokens, and the mustplay tokens. Uh, place the three types of tokens in the discard area, forming separate piles for each. And you add the player boards. Uh, place your player boards matching each player color in your player area face up. Each playerboard has different pass actions. Players can pass up to four times, but they must choose a different pass action each time. Players have six total pass actions. Pick your deck.

Oh, thanks, Panda. Hello. We just finished round um game one of Eternal Sevens uh where we played casual beginner. Oh yes, panda rated. You can you can get a you can get a treaty treat. There you go. You shake for raiding panda panda. I'm a panda. I just have that stuck inside his head. Hi Bobo. Um, so now we're looking up the casual mode standard. So now we add these back in that we had in the original setup and we add in all of those tokens that you had there.

Panda panda. It's a panda.

They also made these things really chunky.

And a dog panda. Oh wow. Those are like 6 mm thick. Uh, at the intermediate level, some pass actions become unique to each player and players can only utilize four of their six pass actions. A new additional play token becomes available, enabling you to play up to three cards during a single turn. This changes the placement of purple cards, the acquisition of star blocks, and the timing of winning, making it crucial to observe the actions of other players with greater vigilance. Please note the victory conditions remain unchanged. Okay. Um, did you put in all the eternals and all of the things? Yeah, we use all of the eternals and all the instance because it says eight or more, so we might as well use them all. I like it so far. And we just played we played like easy beginner, though. So, now we're playing intermediate beginner, I guess. Casual mode standard is what they call it.

Um, we still get four pass tokens. And we still use all of the player cards. And we roll the dieice to see who goes first. We're not playing with blue. We're not playing with green. We're not playing with blue. Red. Anthony goes first, too. Um, did not tell me the X tokens and the mustplay tokens. Okay. So, the additional pass actions that we have. So, for everyone joining us, um this is Eternal Sevens. Uh on your turn, you can play one card and it's a card shedding game. So, you want to be the first out or you want to collect two star tokens on your player board to win. Uh so, on your turn, you can play a card. Um to start, you have to play a four, five, six, or seven in the center area denoted by these arrows here. And then you can play on either side of that card. If you play the nine or the two, you get an instant effect.

Um these are relatively good it seems like. Um and if you do one of the uh the other action you can do on your turn is pass. And so we have four pass tokens and we have six different actions that we can take choose from. Three of these actions are the ongoing eternals. That's going to affect how both of us play. One of them actions is to get a rare card which is a wild card but the wild card can be played on top of and there's an eternal that we've learned that would allow you to take the wild off of there. Uh, and then there's the discard a card um to the discard. Uh, and you can do that even if you only have one card left in your hand. So, that can allow you to end up going out. Uh, and then in a two-player game, the third thing that you can do on your turn is take one of these two cards and your opponent gets the other one.

Um, because all 48 cards are between the two of us and that one deck. Um, now these also have gain an additional play token, which is that one there. Um, so for each additional play token icon that appears on the bottom right corner of a pass icon, gain one additional play token um before performing the pass action. You can only hold a maximum of two additional play tokens. If you already have two, you cannot gain anymore. And when gaining a rare card, if there are no rare cards available, you will gain one additional play token instead. Is that dictated on there instead? It is. Yeah. So, if this deck is out, you'll see you also get an additional play token. Then there's also the mustplay token. Um that must come in from one of the eternals. Uh take one mustplay token from the discard area and place it on any card space in the field, including purple card spaces that does not yet contain a card. Since it can be placed anywhere, you can even place it in a space where players are currently unable to play a card. If you have a card corresponding to a space where a mustplay card token is located and that card is eligible to be played, you must prioritize playing that card during your turn. If a star block or X token is in the same space, that card is not eligible to be played. Rare cards are never forced to be played, even if they are eligible to be played. And you can choose to pass on your turn even if you are able to play a card in the that must play space. And you may also discard a card as a pass action. Hint, if no

player plays a card to an eligible mustplay space, assume that card has been discarded. If there are multiple mustplay tokens in different spaces and you hold those multiple cards, you can decide the order to play them. And if Cyclops continuous effect is active and you have both a rare card and a mustplay card, you can decide the order to play them. Okay. Then there is the star block movement action. Uh, we don't have that. Oh, because those are asymmetrical player abilities. We're not on the asymmetrical side yet,

right? Thanks, Gimma. Uh, if there is one or more star blocks in the field, choose any one star block and move it to the opposite side. If there are no star blocks in the field, this pass action cannot be selected. Okay, but we don't have that pass action. Um, did I set up the player the wrong way? Playerboards matching each player in the color face up. Each player board has different passions. Players can pass up to four times. They must choose a different pass action each time. So, is there like a reason there's like Okay. So, it says we're supposed to play with the other side, but I don't know what this side is for.

What? Yeah, these don't look different.

Just these things.

Uh, is there multiples of each person?

There's like a whole bunch. There's like a whole deck of different ones.

Oh, those are all like the those are eternals. Okay.

The game does that mean the Returnals? internals.

So, these are not different on each side. They just have two extra spots on them.

Some of them other ones are different.

Oh, okay. So, we happen to be playing with two characters that are the same. Okay. So, that's the side we are supposed to be on. It's just that neither of us is playing with the character that has that special star moving ability. Okay. Problemmo solved. Yeah, there's the star probably moving.

Yeah. And the mustplay tokens. Does the uh green guy have the X token? No, he's got the star move and the mustplay. So, it must be an eternal that gives us the X token. Um, and okay, so that's the only changes for casual beginner mode and then we'll try gamer mode. Okay, so you get to go first, Anthony. And then we got a handy dandy card here. Play one card, play a two or nine, trigger an instant effect. Play a rare valid location. No instant effects actions on two or nines. Uh use additional play token. Play another card. Pass. Activate effect. Gain a rare card. Trigger trigger. Okay, cool. What's on this side? Go out hard pass and eliminated. Cool. Those are icons on the other side that we don't have.

I try to play different this time. See if I can play like a racing game or something.

I get an instant effect. We have the Phoenix. That looks like I can play another play again. The Nope, that's the next player. Uh, take an additional turn. Okay. Um, so then I guess you can play any one of the tokens or

Okay. So, I played the infinity cards. That moves this to here. So, that's the last card. And we have to continue this way.

Oh, what happened? visually live there. Twitch, did you go down? We're back there. Okay. Uh, I get another instant eternal. The skeleton. Oh, no. Is that the swap hand one?

No, I think that just swap a give a card.

Choose one other player and pass them one card. Okay, I will give you

I'm going to take four. Take the one.

Take the three. I take and play the five. I'm going to go ahead and use this myself a wild play the line.

I will grab a while.

Put that there. Okay. Whoa. I that scrolled so far I can't even see what happened. There's a bunch of gift subscriptions. Thank you so much. Somebody if I could scroll and see who it was. Anonymous. You silly moose. And somehow that started a hype train. Anthony, you can go use your prime and then you'll be in on the hype train.

Thank you so much. That means so much. Oh my gosh. So much so that I didn't even plan on getting gift subscriptions that I don't have a graphic in there. That should be Bo riding a rocket ship. And there should have been a song attached to it. Bobo, come here. Somebody give us a bunch of subscriptions. Come on. Did you just go anonymous? The the the the raider is covering your face. There we go. And you can treat I was going to give you another one. They gave us five subscriptions. That's like five bucks but of money for us. Wait, no. Gift subscriptions of what? 250 each. It was like $10.

Thank you very much. Now I completely forgot what I was doing.

Where did you play? Oh, you didn't play yet. Where did you play? Uh, I played the three here

instead of the 10.

Yeah.

Okay. Cuz you were looking at playing the 10. Okay.

I was looking at playing the random there.

Okay. I want a Eternal and see what happens. Dragon. Additional play tokens cannot be used. Oh [ __ ] Yes. It's exactly why I wanted to do that because I wanted a play token, but now I can't use it.

You have two of them. Three additional play token spots.

Yep. I'm going to do this.

You're going to snooze that ad break cuz Thank you so much for those gift subs.

Is it an in You get to pick which eternal you get.

Uh the the twos and the nines give you this one. The passing action.

Okay.

Gives you this one.

You can't play

wild.

Wild.

But now I can play the additional uh you get a additional play token. That's the most play token. This one. But now I can use my additional play because four and five.

That was supposed to be mine. You're supposed to pay attention to the timing. Moah, apparently. Yoink. A bag of treats for both. Um, you would hope so, but this actually cost $30.

Okay. You want another one? You can have all the treats you want today. B. Somebody gifted us five subs. That's huge. Yeah. You want more? You come on up. Hold on. I think I mean I don't get snacks. Well, actually you do. Of course you got to get snacks last Sunday. That's like a bag of chips and a bottle of pop. Oh, for my turn, I'm just going to play that.

Yeah, I didn't see anything that you couldn't play once a row row is done, right? Because I did not

Well, you can still play the the number that's the wild's taken

because I'm still getting rid of that by hand. Yeah, I think that's perfectly valid because Oh, I did miss this. Only one rare card per row, but we haven't run into that yet. No. Um, what am I doing? I don't know. Well, you used your token. I did. I am going to take the four. I guess I get the two.

I'm

Oh, I was thinking like the big bag of Miss Vickies that cost like $6. I'm going to play this four. Three. Play two and get an instant eternal. Wow. Level three. Got a hype. Oh, I got a hype chest, too. Choo choo. Uh, instant eternal. Uh, this was you skip a turn. Um, which is not helpful because I needed you to play things so that I could play oops w uh so I will be taking the eight as my turn.

There's that damn six. Oh, and my sub goal has been met. Wait, how did how you only gifted like five subs, didn't they? I think I only had one sub. Did they give nine subs? One, two, three, four.

What would you say you do here?

Uh, I play games.

Uh, I'm going to take the six.

Thank you, Anonymous.

James, you get a purple card.

Oh, another purple card. Uh, okay. So, now I played the eight. Oh, hi gaming artist guy. You were blue, so I didn't really actually see that you snuck in there.

Play the six.

Um, nine for another instant eternal. We've got the Oh [ __ ] the dragon. We swap hands. That's detrimental in a two-player game. I guess that's why you can pick

the Eternals. Oh, what just Oh, I dropped my Anky. Aaron was like, he's not wrong. True. That was my swap. So, it's your turn. I'm going to put the seven out.

Uh, grab the one. Son of a biscuit. I don't get any more additional play tokens.

And you get two of them.

I'm going to go here to get a wild as well as an additional play token.

Okay. Do that. So that means the 10 is the last one.

Yep.

My turn. Yep.

Uh, so I'm going to use one of my additional tokens to play out the infinite.

Damn it. And take that. Thought so. Okay, I'll play the three. I'm going to play the eight. Um, two. This doesn't look good. Oh, the battle rock. I think this one where I call a color, right?

Mhm.

Declare color and exchange one. Um, okay. I will declare Oh, you have my hand.

Mhm.

I'm going to declare purple.

I think I like this better than Eternal Decks.

I really like it. Ah, now what do I do? Oh, I'm going to take the 10 here.

Another piple. Okay, that's the last two cards of this. I'm going to play out the one. Play out the 10. Play out the eight. Pops that to nine.

Um, I have this unless you can manage to get your hand out. Oh, you have three cards left.

Yes. I'm going to play this to do this. Oh, I can't. Not going to help too much. I'm going to play out this. Okay. Oh, you're going to win it because I don't have enough moves to do this because I don't have any additional to tokens. You just have to be able to play.

Yep. I'm running into an issue.

Your last one can be a pass.

Yeah, I know.

To drop it.

You don't have

the six or purple cuz I stole your purple.

Yeah.

Uh well, you can you can get an additional play token and risk it with an eternal

discard a card, but then you won't have the uh discard. But you already know that I'm going to finish out that. So, I'm not going to play anything that you need. I'm just going to take this. Okay. And then I play the 10. Damn. Stuck.

Yep.

You took the purple card that I needed.

Yeah. I do this and see.

Oh, this could screw me over. Instant reactivate the effect of the instant Eternal that is currently face up. You get to call a color

purple.

But it's my turn anyways. So I get the nine and that's two stars.

So close. I almost made it out.

Wow, that is so interesting. Okay, well we can shuffle again and figure out gamer mode.

Uh could be the rare cards. Oh yeah, the rare cards don't go in. Nope.

Okay, so the gamer mode comes in a different rule book. The beginner of chaos, dragons, all of the beings of the governing, the cycle of the eternal world. Okay, so gamer world consists of two rounds. Each player has different scoring methods and ways to earn stars. In a four-player game, the goal is to score 20 points in over the two rounds or collect four stars. However, any However, any player who is eliminated in the second round, cannot win the game. Uh, whenever playing a number card, especially a two or a nine, or whenever an Eternal's action would be triggered by a pass effect, you may choose to trigger a dragon's action instead. Oh, expert and pro. Oh my gosh. Okay. Expert. Each player has different abilities, but the same observer is used for two rounds. Use the back side of the player board. pro. At the start of each round, after looking at your hand, select one eternal. The eternal you select determines how you score points and how you gain stars. Use the eternal boards instead of player boards. Okay, so now we switch over to the expert side of the board.

The dialogue between the observer and the dragon begins. All eternal actions converge into dragon actions. Oh, we're actually about to start an ad. So, I'll actually just take a break while I read this and come back and teach you guys. Level seven. Good job. Um, the uh pro and expert mode have significantly more rules. So, that took me a little while to read them. So, come on up. We're going to split this into a different video. Okay. Welcome. Today we're going to play the pro version now of Eternal 7s. You can check out my other video on the casual mode. Um, so this one they call gamer mode, which is split into expert and pro. And the casual mode is split into beginner and standard. So let's hit the table.

In a two-player game, you're going to add these two boards here. Um, because the deck will be split into three equal parts. And so one of the decks is here. So you'll have a new action that you can do on your turn. So it's a card shedding game. Um in the gamer mode, uh the first person to reach 21 points or five stars is going to win. Um and uh we have to play we're going to do that over two rounds in the gamer mode. Uh the player boards have two sides. This is the casual side. This one's now the gamer side and it has two actions here. Um, sorry, not actions but uh explanations here. So the first one is going out. Um, and so we both have two different going out conditions. So mine is if I go out I get a star uh organized by these ones here and four points uh which are hearts. Uh or I get a star and oh and I get a star per unused passing disc. And we'll talk about passing disc in a second.

If I hard pass, which is I have to have two cards left in my hand, I will get four points per unused uh per unas was it un crap. Was it unused or

it says per zero? Uh hard passing earns you four points if you have zero on. So it's not per. So it's not that the the slash is not a per. So, I get one more point if I have no if I have zero of these left. So, I've used all four of them. Uh, and then I'll also get one point um for the yellow cards that I have in my hand. Um, so that is based off of the face value of the card. We have these pass tokens because what you can do on your turn is play a card. You have to start with four, five, six, or seven in the center of the table. Then you have to play to the left or the right of that. When you get to the ends, you have the infinity symbols and that's going to move this and that's going to determine what the last card to be played is. And then you have to continue along that one. In the casual mode, you would get this and it's a star. That does not have any effect in the gamer mode. It is just the last card that can be played because you need to go out or hard pass in order to trigger the end of the round. And we're going to play two rounds. Uh the other action you do instead of playing a card is passing.

And so you're going to have four of these cubes you can use uh and put them onto one of your actions here. So I can mine is that I'm allowed to discard a card, which I can do twice. I can activate uh an eternal, which doesn't exist in this one. So I'll see what that changes to. Um because we now have the dragons instead of the eternal. Oh, okay. They're right here. So same thing. I I I will get to activate one of the dragon abilities, which is new in the gamer mode. Uh, same thing here. I can get a wild card. Wild cards are well, they're rares, but they act as wilds. They can be played anywhere. And then I have another discard action. Anony's go out condition is two points. And he'll get um two points if he has unused discs. Although that looks like you get two points for everyone's unused discs.

So, let me double check that one. I think I've read that wrong. Uh, for each unused past disc. Yes. So all of my unused pass this you would also get points for um and your hard pass condition earns you three points um plus an additional one point for each red card in your hand to a maximum of two points. Uh and sorry that was the same mine. I said base value. It's actually just red cards. So I can get a maximum of two points out of that. Uh because in order to win uh we're going to play two rounds and whoever has the most points uh at the end of the rounds wins. But you can still be eliminated if you cannot play because once one person goes out, the next person has one turn in order to get to the hard pass mode, which is down to two cards in order for you to stay in.

Otherwise, you are eliminated. Um, yeah. And so that's on the back side of the player eliminated card here. So get rid of all your cards in your hand. Each other player takes one final turn and then the round ends. Or hard pass at the start or end of your turn. You can choose to hard pass. Um, if you have two or fewer cards in your hand, you may discard your hand face up to declare hard pass. Each other player takes two final turns and then the round ends. Um, on your hard pass final turn, you can play consecutively uh instead of it taking up an entire turn.

Um, so you're not going to play a 1111. If you can

get your hand down consecutively, it's good. Um, the winner of the game is determined according to the following order of priority. the player who reached 21 victory points because in a two and a three-player game it would be to 21 otherwise it's 20 in a four-player game. Uh then second priority is the player who gains four stars uh five stars in a three and a two and three-player game. Uh and then the player with the most victory points um if neither of those conditions were met by the end of round two. Um now normally in the casual game when you play a two or a nine you will activate an eternal. Instead, we're going to activate these dragons. So, two of these dragons will activate in down order, whatever their ability is, and then they're going to reset. Same thing here, and then they'll reset. Um, these ones though, you they can be done in any order. And then once all four of them are done, we're going to flip the card over.

And, uh, you're going to end up using one of those things there. However, uh this side has player colors on it. So, if you do more than just your action, uh you're going to end up giving the other player a bonus. We need to flip that back over to the other side.

This dragon, forgot how he was activated. Uh and in the second round, the player with the low least amount of points is the one who goes first. Forbidden Dragon. U, so this goes over all the different actions. So

yeah, so anytime you do the um eternal action, you will do any of the three dragons. Um, all of these effects are basically the same effects that are in the casual game um as the different dragons. So here you can't play three and eights. Can't play one and tens. Can't play infinity cards. Um instantly turn all discard cards face up. And then on this one, these are the playable dragon actions. And so you get a mustplay token, you get a mustplay token, you rare cards must be played first. And everyone passes one card from their hand face down to the player on their left. And then here is the choice based actions. Gain an additional play token.

Gain a victory point. Move all star blocks in the field to the opposite side. Uh cannot be uh selected if there are no star blocks in the field. And everyone passes one card with their hand on the player to the left. U. Then when you flip it over to the back side,

that one's a little bit confusing. Two bottom actions can be used by the players whose colors are revealed. Oh, you can get points once we're on this side based off of whose color is revealed. Okay, but what does this dragon do?

Oh, this is just the um if you're eliminated in the first round, your hearts go back to zero. Um and if you're the first player out, you get a bonus of one victory point. Um so that's what this dragon is signifying here. Okay. And we've got nothing to catch up on in chat here, it looks like. Good. So,

I'm just I This part wasn't very well explained about the stars. I think we would get a star because we'd have to get to five stars somehow because this is if you go out twice, you're only going to get four stars,

but then you're going to still capture regular. So, I think this does count towards your stars.

Oh, no. It says a maximum of four stars. So, it must be from Let me put that back over. How would How do you get your fifth star in the two-player game? Well, we would get stars from here as well as we get stars by going up. 1, three, four, five, six, I guess. Okay. Yeah, I guess so. So this must count towards your stars, but it is unclear about it here.

Oh, you do use the star blocks. So yeah, no, that's the new one in this ground.

Um, so intern order. Okay, you did that. I thought you were going first. Yeah. From left to right. Yeah. And then in turn order, starting from the bottom, place the hearts of each color on the two-player game. Zero.

Okay. And then these are all the dragon actions I have handy. Oh boy. This leveled up a lot.

Um, that's the wrong color. Okay, let's check out these dragons. So these ones go down. So these are must plays and can't plays. And these ones you get to pick what you want. I think I want the pick what you want one.

Uh yeah, gaining the additional play token sounds like a good idea. you'll get something else.

No, I don't know why there is a player icon on there. They're actually not in the book.

Okay. Oh, wait. No, they are. I was looking at the wrong icon.

No, it doesn't say. I don't know why there's a person on it. Okay, I am going to go ahead and grab this.

using that. And then I'm going to do no threes and eights. That's going to make that light interesting right now. And I did that because of this chat. I can super zoom. Super zoom. I'm trying not to show Anthony my hand. I'm gonna take this so you get the two.

That's what that card was. Um, so for my turn, because that was your turn, taking it.

I'm going to pass for a while. I'm going to go. Just reminder, your wild won't trigger the eternal. Correct. I had a plan and forgot it.

do internal

his new plan

and I'm going to go here to grab a must play token.

Yes, you put that on the board

right away.

Yeah. So, if I have that card, I have to play it. What happens if you can't play it because of something else?

Um, you have to be able to play it. If you can't play it, you don't play it.

Uhhuh.

So, like it's like it's more of like a if you have this, you have to, but if you don't have it, you don't have to. Yeah. If you have a card corresponding to a space where a mustplay token is located and that card is eligible to be played, you must prioritize playing that card during your turn. If a star block or X token is in the same space, that card is not eligible to be played. Rare cards are never forced to be played, even if they are eligible to be played. Um, you can choose to pass on your turn even if you are able to play that must play card

that also what the must play also affects randoms, right? Or the rares.

Uh, no. So, if you have a rare, you don't have to play it in that spot. Just put that there. Okay,

take this. I am going to What was the other dragon's abilities?

Go away. Fly. Um, I'm going to discard

Yep. Shoefly, don't bother me.

I'm going to point.

He that. So there

Remember,

you get points for unused paths.

Yep. Go here. An additional plate that this one that hurt. Oh yeah, that's the solution. Infinity card. Yeah. Sh. I forgot to watch for that coming. I'll see you guys.

Oh, this is so interesting. Come to the end of it. I pass revealing the discard. That was your discard.

I get points for not having my tokens.

I'm stalling.

Okay.

Take this and make myself another draw one. And

okay, I'm going to pass again. I will take an extra play token, please.

You can only use one at a time, right?

Uh, maximum of two.

Oh, okay.

You can you can play up to three cards with it.

Okay, my turn. Uh, I have to do my dragon action. Um, want to do that. I want to pass a card. Oh, well, not that one. This one.

Okay.

Uh, we're back for We're swapping cards. Oh,

did you get something back?

Yep. I think there go. Yeah, I use all three to do four, five, six. Nice. Okay. And now I'm going to play two. I'm going to shift all these, but it doesn't matter because now I hard pass.

Okay.

And if I hard pass, I get four points. If I have zero of these left, one, two, three, four. And I get one point per yellow card. I have one yellow card.

Okay. Now I can play continuously. Then you can play continuously, but you have um a two-player game. You may play any number of cards continuously without using an additional play token. However, if you play a two or a nine and perform a dragon action, your turn ends. So, you still get two turns, but if one of them is a dragon, it ends your turn. You have to use your second turn.

But I can play continuous cards.

Yes. Getting you another star. And now you can hard pass as your second action or you can try and go out depending which scoring condition you want to do.

Yeah,

that would be really good.

But I can't.

So I do the hard pass. So you get three points and one for red. So you had no red.

I think he's on the star side of things and I'm on the things side of things. Um, oh, and I was the first out, so I got an additional point. No one was eliminated, so nobody's points get reset to zero. Um, we go to round two. We flip the dragon head over and we reset these.

Do these cards flip over or no?

Uh, I think they're the same side. Yeah, they're the same on both sides. One of them is only that one's different and then in the second round you flip it over again anyway. So one side is more shiny though.

Yeah.

Um which okay that's fine anyways. Okay. Rares are out. These are there. Get these back. We shuffle up and guess who was in there? the greens. Oh, we missed one.

Oh, actually, maybe I keep that. It did not say return these.

No. Return the tokens to their original spot. Um, and you will be the start player because you have the fields victory points.

Which file do you want? I kept taking the middle one the whole time. So

and you go first. I do not have confidence in this hand. Yeah, I'm not super happy.

These indeed are exactly the same. So, I don't know why it says face up in the rule book. I don't know. I guess maybe if you flip it over, it matches the artwork of the dragon.

Oh, the dragon's supposed to be on the two-headed side, though. Wait, where did what? Two heads.

Oh, that two. I thought the dragon itself was going to have two heads. So, first out we'll get a uh star and point

one. I'll have to sleep this game later. These cards get shuffled a lot. Yeah. Easier to crunch shuffle them. Yep.

I'm going to grab Oh, I don't want to be playing yellows. I want to keep two of them in my hands to go in that direction.

you down. So

So these ones you can pick anything. These ones go in order.

Yep. just discarding a clone. I'm going to go ahead and get myself extra flicker. It's weird that there's another thing there. Is there like another turn? I'll check the pro side. Maybe that's why I'm playing the three.

Okay, I'm going to take the four. So you get a purple card. Oh, it means you

because this affects everyone.

Okay.

This affects just you. Ah, that's juicy. Ding

for a while.

I had a plan. Was it a good plan though?

Don't know. Oh, this one does have another side.

Oh, it is different.

But this one's not. Okay.

Oh, I guess at the bottom of this you flip the t the cart the tile over. Maybe

you do. Yeah. Oh, so I guess it's that one flips over because you can do all that stuff again.

Yep. But it doesn't really matter which side's face up, I guess. Sorry, what did you play? I'm going to take point. You're going for a very pointy game.

I don't think I can mathematically get enough points. I think points are supposed to be if you're not getting stars because to get 21 points seems actually quite difficult. I only get four by using all of my tokens.

Mhm.

And one from that. So that' be a total of eight and then 9 10. Yeah, I can only ever get to a maximum of 10. So trying to go for points is probably a bad idea

cuz winning priority I believe is stars.

I'm going to go here and get myself a wild and an additional draw token or play token. In

a four player game, you can earn a maximum 20 points. If you already have 20 points, you can earn more. In a two or three player game, you can earn a maximum 21 points. Yeah. How do you get to 20 points?

I guess it's possible. Was it supposed to be four per unused? That's probably why. earns you four points if you have zero unused passes. Nope. Additionally, earn one point for every yellow card in your hand. Max two. Okay.

I think this is a typo here.

Cuz on yours it does say for each unused pass disc when they use the slash,

but it's a different icon.

Yes, but I'm talking about the slash part. That's that one does read Iconography has two points per unused. Um, and hard passing earns you three points, an additional one point for each red card. And in the yellow one, it says going out earns you one star and four points. Additionally, earn one star if you have zero unused pass discs.

Oh, yours also has an an icon of zero.

Yeah, there's there's literally either a typo here or here. This shouldn't be a slash or it should be per in here I think. Oh well. Uh go play. What' you play? I use path action to get a there's 10.

The ropen is all over eternal 7s and people are asking questions already in BG. So maybe it's there. Yeah, somebody had posted that they were missing a board and he was like, "And if anybody else gets missing anything, just send me a message on BG.

yellow can't get 21 points.

or we can figure it out after for the sake of the stream. Let's go on. Uh Peroko had said that um it Boba, what are you doing? It's your goal to reach 21 points and other people have already analyzed that there are characters that cannot get to 21 points. So, it's just be a point mechanism in general.

Uh, oh [ __ ]

Anthony.

Mhm.

This field sucks. It really does. Well, that explains what that card was. Okay, I'm going to put the five down here.

I am going to Have cards.

So what happens in that case if I put it goes here. Ah okay.

Just goes the other way. Okie dokie. I'm going to pick up six. Here's your blue card.

I'm going to play the one that goes there.

Oh, this got really just got really interesting. Put the nine down. And I'm going to do

that. Shifts all of them. So that would be nine, one, and nine get covered. Yeah. Didn't want to do that. I do this and say

make you play that. You got rid of a card.

Heroin said the game is largely about trying not to be eliminated. I'm going to grab this. Just screwed up my plan by doing that. Oh, which now means I have to play that or I can do this and drop this card.

Play this to activate. Oh, this this is cheeky depending on this is risky than what I'm about to do

cuz you could win,

but I want to see what happens.

Yeah. If I do it, you win.

I think that made it so you can't win now.

Okay.

I don't know. We'll see.

And I to there.

Yep. And I hard pass. Oh,

I got four points. Plus one plus one. and a star. You have two turns to get two stars or you lose.

go here to pass to get a random and then you can play consecutively as long as you don't activate an eternal which would be a two which you can't play anyways and a nine which is in there you can't play it and the purple is also in there

well I can do this and this to get one star.

Mhm.

I can play.

And I have the seven. So, you can't get that star and that star.

This one.

Can you get rid of one more card so that you can hard hard out? Yes.

There's a missing purple. Yeah, because it's in there. Ah. Yes. I eliminated him.

Yep, that was close.

That was It's not as tense as Eternal Decks, but it's still like once you start to click the other ways of winning

Mhm.

is really interesting because this now came down to I eliminated you because of the hard pass because you couldn't do the hard pass

on your two turns that you got. Yeah. But then also, if you would have got your two turns, I stopped you from cuz I I was originally going to keep this one

and play it. But then you could have got this one and this one. And that two stars would have got you five stars. And stars is the first person. If someone got 20, they win. If no one got 20, the person with five stars wins. And if no one got five stars, the person with the most points wins.

Okay.

So, you would have won if I got you or got two more stars. I just needed Yeah. I had one way of getting one,

but then I was missing the seven.

Yeah. And then I discarded

that nine so that you couldn't go and get this. And this one so you couldn't come up here and get this. This one was early. I didn't even plan on it. And then this one. I was actually originally going to play the two so that I could try and do something, but there was nothing here for points. And then um seven.

If I play that differently, instead of taking that one, if I played it this

Yeah. I wonder if you can play the wild on there.

That would get me there, which would get me down to two cards.

Yeah. So then you could have hard out and then you wouldn't have had the five stars though to win. So then I would still win over most points.

Yeah. It was really close.

That's so cool. I really like that. Uh oh. And we're in an ad break. Nobody could see the ending.

Oh, well,

that was an un

Okay. And then pro mode, you just uh everyone has different there's just more different um out conditions.

Oh, there's also there's different abilities on me here.

Yeah. Everyone's got different passing conditions and everyone's got different um

It's interesting that the the mustplay card tokens have to be played right away because I feel that would be something better to hold on to.

Let me check if I read it wrong and place it on any card space in the field including purple card spaces. Does that not yet contain a card? Yep, we did that right. Um, can you use the wild as a purple card?

Thought me. I had no red cards.

You can because it just said standard card.

Yeah. Casino.

This is the first time we also didn't tap that deck out.

Yeah. Well, because we didn't need to because we don't have to play all the cards to get the stars.

Welcome back from ads. I won. I need to now log like five games of Eternal Sevens. Eternal Sevens. You played five games. I thought we

No, we played three last. This one's two rounds.

Is one game. Um, okay. Let's raid somebody and then we're going to play more games. Oh, all games will stop. Oh, there we go. It's five o'clock already. Oh, it is six o'clock. Yeah. Let's go check out Steph. Everybody, thanks for coming by.
