Ilya's Top 5 Picks for Essen Spiel 2026
Transcript
Here's five games I'm excited to pick up at Essen Spiel 2026. First up we have Buried Memories. In this game, you'll be traversing through the game box discovering, daring to see what is to come. The art style is really unique and the concept of the game really, really interesting. Next, I have Rooms and Roomies. In this game, you'll be drafting furniture. You'll be picking up Roomies. You'll be building a house and filling it with wonderful things to make everybody happy. Everybody likes moving in and making sure things are nice. I want to try it out. Then we got Fireflies. This is a cooperative two-player only game and I'm already sold because of that. What will happen in the game? Where will the scenarios take me? Look at these fireflies. I want to know.
Fourth game? In no particular order, obviously. I have Last Lemming. Maybe I should have saved that one for last. Last Lemming is a trick-taking game. And look at it. How Look at it. I ha- I have to know what is going on. I have to pick this up because I like trick-taking and I like games that look like that. And last I have Midnight Mail. In this game, we'll be playing cards, you'll be placing tiles, you'll be placing animals, and I'm intrigued. I want to know more about it. I want to play it so I can tell you about it. Well, Tyler only said I can pick five, but I have many more in this list. So, if you want some more games, let me know in the comments down below and maybe I'll sneak peek even more for you or showcase some of these as we wander the halls of Essen Spiel.
