As you alluded to, Nick, this is a tile laying game where you're going to have two gardens and you are going to be building into the mirrored spaces uh which are all numbered. On every turn, you're going to get two tiles. One has to go in number blah blah blah of one side and the same number of the other side. And you're trying to build different groups of uh flowers and herbs and mushrooms and things in kind of set collectiony ways. So, what we're going to do is we're going to show you an overview of how this game is going to work. And then we're going to hop right into our two-player play.

1:14 In Even Glow, players will be placing sets of tiles into mirrored spaces of two gardens as they hope to build groups of vines and leaves and sets of various flowers and herbs. Make some use of potions to build the most appealing dual gardens as possible. On a turn, the active player will play a plant card from their hand. They can rotate the card freely, and once placed, they will gain the two tile types facing them, and all other players will gain the two tile types on the opposite side of the card. Now, you will place your two tiles. To do this, choose one tile to place in one garden, rotating the tile freely. Once you commit to one space in one garden, the other tile you have must go into the matching space of the other garden. So, if I place in space 8 here, I'd have to go to the same space there. Players hope to create groups of tiles, each of which can score at the end of the game. Vines and leaves want to be connected in one big group. For your largest group in each garden, you will get one point per vine tile and two points per leaf you connected to that vine group.

2:00 Handbane flowers want to be in groups of exactly two and are worth two bonus points if they are not touching the edge of the garden. Lion's mane, mandrekes, and elderberry are worth three, four, or five points if they are connected in a group of three, four, or five, respectively. These three tile types can award you potions for making a specific group shape, while elderberries are always going to award a potion, gaining you one point per tile touching the edge of your garden. Potions may be used to swap tiles around, replace tiles with new ones, and give greater flexibility when drafting tiles. The game will continue until all plant cards are played, at which point players tally their scores for both of their gardens, and the player with the most points wins.
