Distilled: Cocktails | Playthrough

0:00 Hi everyone, I'm Tom and today I'm going to be playing Distilled Cocktails, which is a new expansion for Distilled. It adds four huge new things to the game. And as you can see, those things are taking up a lot of space. I can't zoom out far enough to fit all of this in to show you. You can unlock a second washback and potentially make two things per round. You can make cocktails now, which will earn you renown by getting these mixers. Spread your renown across the world for bonuses and unlock bonus tiles and impress renown collectors. If you make something impressive enough to them, they can give you some big point scoring opportunities. I'll be explaining how all of it works as we go through a two-player game here. Little glassy is helping me out. As I said at the start, this is on Kickstarter right now. There'll be a link to the campaign page in the description and the corner of the screen. You can see what the final thing will have. You can see how to make it happen. This is a prototype of the game. So, I've got all of the base game components. They're all final, of course, but anything that's new from the expansion is just prototype material. Some of them are 3D printed pieces.

I should say if you are completely new to Distilled, I will explain everything that we're doing as we go, but I have got a solo playthrough for the just the base game if you'd like to give that a taste first. So, in a round, we will start with start of round effects. And Marty actually has one because his personality here, Aldrich from Romania, gives him the special ability that he can gain any mixer at the start of a round. So, it will help him make cocktails. some of the things in his player area. He starts off with resources based on his personality. So, he's got a water, a yeast, and two money. We'll start off with two metal barrels and a bottle. And he's got three distillery goals. Later on in the game, there are seven rounds. At the end of the third round, everyone is going to have to discard one of these. So, you'll do two of them. And the expansion does include some new ones. So, he wants to have the most or tie the most for spirit labels. We'll get these up here as we make spirits. He wants to have the most from Asia and he wants to have or be tied for the most American and or his region European bottles. So, two of those three he'll go for and he gets to gain a mixer and he's going to go for a fierce. We'll see later what he'll do with that. Then we go through the market phase where in turn order we are going

2:33 to gain things from the market. In the base game you can gain things from the basic market. yeast, water, grains, plants, fruits, barrels that you might need for certain recipes. You can buy upgrades to your distillery and staff that will give you special abilities and maybe points as well. Premium ingredients that are like the old ones, but will be worth more money, maybe more points, maybe have special effects, and premium items, special bottles, special barrels. And the expansion adds new cards to all of these decks as well as our signature recipe which we can only make once per game. All of these other ones here that are different based on the the tasting flight that you're using for your session. There are loads of these. We're just going for C here, but the points values and the things available and the recipes for them can change from game to game. If we want to make any of these, we're going to have to pay to unlock these recipes. There are bronze, silver, and gold ones. New things that we can do from the expansion. We can pay to unlock our second wash back. Each round, we will use our wash back to distill something, but you can unlock the use of your second one to do two in a round if you've got the resources to do it. It cost you an increasing amount to do that. Your first time, it only cost you two, but by your fifth time, it's going to cost you 14 money to do, but it will get you a bonus alcohol card. You can buy cocktail recipes. The cost is underneath. When you buy one, you get the card, which tells you the mixers that you need. the kind of spirit that you have to have made to be able to make

4:03 this cocktail with it. So, something involving fruit for this one, for example. And when you buy it, you get mixes equal to the cost that you paid. So, if you went for this recipe, you'd get to take one from the fridge for free. You can also come here and buy three mixes from the fridge for two money. So, a few extra options in the market. I am the first player, and we haven't seen me. I'm Cleopatra the Alchemist. So, when I serve a cocktail, I get money equal to the renown gain. So I have an incentive to make cocktails. We want to anyway. I want to have the most renown in the Americas. Get renowned for making cocktails. Have or be tied for the most nonvodka spirit levels that require grain sugars. So you can see over here everything with a grain symbol on it would be eligible for that and have or be tied for the most European spirit labels.

4:52 So two of those three I'll be going for. I started off with more money but fewer resources. I've only got a yeast. And we do start off with one extra metal barrel by the way in the expansion. Usually you just have one barrel, one bottle. So we take it in turns to do one thing and keep going until we've both passed. So I think I am going to go for a grain because to make something in your washback, which we'll see in the next phase, you need to have yeast, water, and a sugar of some kind. Whether that's coming from grains, plants, or fruits. Marty is going to go for this cocktail here, which is going to cost him one. That's why he went for the fizz. And since he paid one, he also gets one thing from the fridge. He's going to go for the cherries. So, he'd be able to make this as long as he can make a spirit that involves fruit. That goes in his distillery bar. There are two spaces for this. There is another side of your board extension for if you just wanted to play with the second wash back and none of the other expansion things. This also flips to the other side, too. I'm going to need some water. So, that's my two purchases from the basic market done for the round. When purchased, you can reveal the top card of any market deck to all players. purchase it or return it to the bottom of the deck. I'm gonna look at the distillery upgrade deck. So, we could have a farmer specialist cost four money, but at the start of every round will give me a basic grain card in my pantry and give you a point for every two of your Asia and Oceania spirit labels at the end. So, that would be better for Marty. He's got a scoring card for that. So, I could buy this for all four of my money, but no, I think

6:23 I'm going to get something cocktail related. So, I bought the yeast. Marty is also going to buy a yeast because he wants So, that was because I bought the water. Marty is going to buy a yeast because it's bonus. When purchased, immediately gain a money and he wants that to afford the fruits he needs. Oh, these should slide along. And we see something new. Now, I'm going to be bold, spend all four of my money on a specialist. I'm going to get the grocery clerk here who gives me the start of round ability that I get to gain an umbrella. An umbrella is a special mixer that is wild and counts as anything. Hopefully that does me well. Reveal something new in the premium market. Got a molting floor. Get extra flavor cards in things that you're distilling. So Marty is going to go for a mixed grains.

7:10 I've got no money left and I've had my two things from the basic market. So we go back to Marty again. He's going to spend his two money. It's too money to unlock a bronze thing. He's going to have to be very lucky here for this to come off. He might end up making just moonshine, but he's going to unlock the recipe for aqua aquit. And he is going to hope to make that in the distilling phase. Then we have to clean up the market. We have to take the last two cards in a two-player game and discard them. This forklift, this is new from the expansion. It's just to keep things cycling. Now the decks are bigger. It means you need to discard an extra one. So we need to discard a third. But this has also got a forklift on. So discard the molting floor as well. So the whole row got wiped there.

7:56 The corn and potatoes from here. And then the clay pot and the crystal skull. So in the distilling phase, you can trade once with the basic market. If you haven't got something that you need at this point, you could trade in something premium, for example, and get anything from the basic market. It's how you can kind of circumvent the two card per player limit in a round as well. Uh, and you would lay them out on your wash back. You know that I've got the water here, the yeast here, and all my sugars in there. So, you put them in the washback. You gain an alcohol card for every sugar that you put in there. So, Marty is loading his whole thing in there as well. We are going very basic here, and we'll probably make something not so great. And then we distill. We shuffle the cards up, and you you top and tail them.

8:43 you get the stuff that's no good in your mix and we are both hoping really that the sugar stays in more than anything because otherwise you've made moonshine which is still something you still get some money for it. So remove the top thing. It's the yeast. The bottom thing it's the alcohol. Now you still that was the only alcohol in here. But you still assumed that it's going to be somewhat alcoholic just cuz it's not got no alcohol cards in there. So I have got water and grain sugar left in mine. Do the same for Marty. So all this would happen simultaneously in the distill phase. And he is going to remove alcohol and the grains unfortunately for him. So, you can look down your recipes and only your unlocked ones. So, like my signature recipe, it needs to have no grain or plant sugars in it and three fruit sugars, but it's worth a load of points and a bit of extra money. So, what can I say I've made here?

9:38 Moonshine, no sugars whatsoever. But vodka, anything, any sugar in here in a metal barrel can't be aged. We can say that it's vodka. If you met the requirements of multiple things, then you could choose which one it was. Whoops. So, I've made vodka. I can come to the spirit labels here. Now, the stacks are all slightly bigger because of the expansion. There are two more moonshine vodka and the bronze labels. There are one more of each of the silver labels. The gold does the same amount. So, I can grab a vodka. I can put that on this to say that I have made vodka, everybody. It needs to be paired with a barrel of the appropriate type as well. Metal barrel we both start with, too. So that's fine. Marty, he did not end up with any sugars in his. So he has made moonshine. So he's not going to be able to make his cocktail, but perhaps in the future he'll have the money to be able to do it. Then we go to the sell phase. So we take it in turns to sell one thing each. Now, if your recipe has the non-age symbol on it, you have to sell it this round. If it has the age symbol on it, then you have to age it at least once before you sell it.

10:44 So, we've both made things that can't be aged. So, we can sell this vodka. So, we lay out the whole stack, all of the cards that make it up. Space is a little bit tight. As well as a bottle, cuz people can't buy much booze with it cuped in their hands. We count the sell value on these cards. One, two, three money plus on your recipe, four money. So, I'm back to where I started. You might have extra points from things that you've used. I haven't in this case. Now, if you use your starting bottle and barrel, they've got text on them to say they go back to your store room. Barrels and bottles that you buy have their cool special effects and things, but they are one and done, but they contribute towards collections and things. The market cards go back to the basic market. The premium ones get discarded. And we need to put the label somewhere.

11:31 Now, these are all spaces from the standard game. We've got one extra because of the extension. So, we get five money. Get our signature ingredient. Each player has one and it's going to help them achieve their signature recipe. Or you could use it for something else if you wanted. Discard a card from the pantry to take any card from the truck. So, just discard a basic card to get something really valuable. A free ingredient, a free recipe, a free item, a free upgrade, three basic ingredients, or you could have the points instead for each of those. Now, we can place them up here for immediate bonuses. But when you do this, you want to be able to qualify for a bonus on the renown board, or you want to have made something attractive to the collectors, have it worth enough points. So, I haven't even made a bronze recipe, so no collectors are going to be bothered about me. Yeah, we wouldn't place up there because I don't qualify for any of the extra tiles. There can be one-off bonuses on the world map or from the collectors. They are endgame scoring opportunities. And I'm going to go for three basic ingredients. And I'm going to go for three grains since I want to make things involving grains. Let's go for it. Oh, there's points as well.

12:41 There was no points on my cards, but it's worth two points selling vodka. So, I'm on the board there with two points. Over to Marty and he has got two four money from the moonshine and one point. Oh, five money actually cuz he needs his bottle, don't he? Marty is going to go for a free upgrade and he is going to get this co-op manager that came out. Start of the round. Add any basic ingredient to your pantry. That could be nice, especially for trying to make extra things. Then we have the age phase. Neither of us made spirits to be aged, so we can skip that, but they would go in your warehouse. And you get a flavor card to each spirit that's in your warehouse each round. Then we have a new phase, the cocktail phase, which again neither of us are going to be able to participate in. I haven't got a cocktail recipe, and Marty didn't make something involving fruit, but you would be able to spend the required mixes to get that amount of renown, place renown out on the map. We'll see it soon. And you qualify for all sorts of endgame scoring from the cocktails as well.

13:42 Okay. We then check for fulfilled spirit awards. We have three of these in the game. And I have just selected ones from the expansion for this. Have two collector scoring tiles. Do four cocktails. Sell three spirits in one round. So you could make two in a round, but you're going to have to have aged something to do that triple sale. Nobody did that. If you didn't sell, you can hold a tasting and spend up to four points to get four money. Well, a money for each point that you spent. Round mark changes. First player token gets passed. So Marty is now first. And at the end of the third round, we will discard down to two goals. So, we are back in the market phase. Marty has five money this time. Oh, don't forget your start of round stuff, though. I get an umbrella. If I venture into cocktails, Marty gets any mixer, so he might as well try and do the better version of this. He'll grab another fizz. Then he just needs a cherry. And then any basic ingredient.

14:35 Oh, why is he unlocked aquait? He wants fruit. That's just cuz I got excited that he could make that instead. It's okay. He could make vodka and make that. his free ingredient. He is going to go for water. So, he doesn't get the when purchase then cuz he didn't purchase it. On his turn, he is going to buy a yeast and have another money from it. So, what do I have to make my next thing? I've got all that grain sugar. I need water definitely. So, we've both got an alcohol in the wings. Now, I could make a cocktail with vodka. Now, vodka counts as all of these sugar types, but you get one fewer renown. So, if you're going to do the basic thing with vodka, you're going to get no renown for it anyway. So, you either need to do the better recipe or wait until you've made a better spirit. I want to unlock a recipe anyway. I'm going to pay two to unlock a bronze recipe. And I am going to go for soju, which wants me to have two wheat available. Marty wants a water cuz he is basically going to try and make two things. Two not very good things, but still two things. So, if the water he can look at the top of any deck, he's going to go for a bottle. He's got a mason jar. When selling, get two money.

15:37 If you're selling moonshine, get four instead. So, we might hope to make moonshine with that now. Get a load of cash for next round. So, that cost him one. I need water. Now, I've only got two money. I'm going to look in the ingredients deck. Could get Roy for three money. No. Marty is going to unlock his second washback. Try and make two things this round. And he gets an alcohol for doing that. So, you know, it's more potential for money having that alcohol in there. but also maybe that'll get removed rather than the sugars that you want to keep in there. I am going to buy three mixes. I'm going to buy fizz garnish and the the flavor. Now, if there is only three or fewer left after your turn, they refill with what's on the dice here. Then we reroll the dice and you get a free thing for triggering the refresh. This is going to refresh at the end of the market phase.

16:30 So, I don't think Marty's going to take any flavorings. He is actually going to buy this wheat. So he is able to make two things. And I think that's the end of the market phase. So two things go, but an extra one because of the forklift and an extra one cuz of the forklift. The things do reshuffle if uh the whole deck runs out. Two in the ingredients and then two here and an extra one from the still bottle and from the Asia bottle. So everything gets refreshed down here. Just need more money. Okay. So now it's distill. I am going to throw everything into this. So, I'm going to put everything in. I think instead of the instead of the water, I'm going to put that alcohol in. So, I get three extra alcohol for having three sugar. Shuffle them up.

17:18 And we are removing one sugar and one alcohol. That's fine by me. So, two sugar stays in, which what I wanted or at least two of it. I don't need all of it to stay in there. So, top that's a water removed and bottom it's one of the grain. That means I'm going to be able to make this soju. And then Marty is going to split his up. So he has to have a water and a yeast in each of them. A grain in each of them. And then he's going to put both of the alcohol in here as well. Actually, he's better off using the alcohol, isn't he? Just so it's worth more money and save these for a future go. And so Marty gets an alcohol in each for the one sugar each. Now, the one rule for your He has unlocked his wash back and it's going to lock again in a minute. The one rule for your double washback is you have to make two different things. You can just combine them all into one big stack as well if you can only make one thing. So, we lose Oh, there's the grains gone for this.

18:14 So, he's making moonshine. Good for his mason jar. And his second one. Uh it's it's unlikely he'll make something here cuz he has really split things, but he could he could make some money. So, he removes the yeast and the alcohol. So this one has got a sugar in it. So Marty is the first player, isn't he? So one thing that he's made is some more moonshine. There's the barrel. But here you can make this uh aquit cuz that just wants to be in a metal barrel as well and can't be aged. It's worth less money like this. But hey, he's making something more lucrative hopefully. And for me, I am making my soju. And we all have to sell all of our things. Just one at a time though. Marty is going to definitely say his moonshine is going in the mason jar with extra money. So, he's going to sell this one. So, when selling moonshine, this is worth four, five, 6, 7, 8, nine money and one point. The barrel goes back.

19:06 Everything else is gone. Over to me. I'm going to sell my soju. It's going to be worth 1 2 3 4 5 and five points. I get the barrel and the bottle back and everything else is gone. And I'm up to seven points now. Marty is going to unlock his signature ingredient with that moonshine. Just the Rambo apples. He's got a lot of stuff in this pantry. I'm going to go for the free upgrade and I'm going to once per market phase reduce the cost to unlock my second wash back by two and I get two points if I have at least 10 spirit labels. Marty had his eye on that, but I've decided I'm going for it. I haven't unlocked mine yet. Oh, I needed to do the market phase. We completely refresh it. So, we wipe everything out if there's less than five at the end of the market phase. Put everything in that is on the dice, which is stuff that I need, which is quite nice. You can only take one umbrella when you're buying mixes.

20:00 They haven't been in the market just yet, have they? Uh, and then we reroll them so you can see what's going to come in next time it's refreshed. Mossy's got an extra thing to sell down here. Going to sell this Aquavit. So, it is going to be worth 1 2 3 four money and three four points. So, he's only one behind there, but he is very rich for next round. Gets his bottles back. These are gone. And his bonus, he's going to have a free ingredient. He's going to take these six cost grapes. He's going to try and make his signature thing next time. Oh, he keeps the bottle, but I don't think this counts for region scoring. So, I don't know if he needs to keep it. I'll set it aside anyway. So, new round. I'm going to be first player again. Round three. So, we'll need to lose one of our bonuses after this. And I only have five for the market phase.

20:48 What have I got? I need Well, this could be the yeast, actually. The alcohol. Oh, you haven't cycled this. I bet I didn't cycle it in round one, and I could have afforded the recipe that I wanted before. Yeah, there's nothing in the Discord. Ah, subtitle. Apologies me. I've made it harder for myself. I could have got this recipe. I don't know if I could have fulfilled it, though. I don't think the ingredients were there. So, I'm going to buy that recipe. One, two, three, four. And I can take one thing. Oh, don't forget to do your start of round things. I get an umbrella. So, I'm going to take one of these jugs. I think Marty's start of round things. He gets any basic ingredient. What's he going? He's going for sugar, isn't he? So, why not have a two cost mixed fruits for free and any mixer. Well, he's only cherry short of doing the big renown on this if he makes something fruit based, which he's hoping to this round. Okay, Morty in the market phase, but his thing needs to be aged though. So, he's not going to be able to sell it this round.

21:45 He needs to get a barrel. This has to be in a wood barrel because he has to age it. These cost four. I don't think I can feasibly make two things this round. That is free to do my wash back. So, the basic things I would need to do what Marty did last time basically, wouldn't I? It's two less to unlock unlock my wash back, which I'll do now and get an alcohol. Marty has a lot of money and he's got these spare alcohols to be wilds for him. Can't have other sugars in. So there's a there's a grains towards a second thing that he can be making. He's even got a spare yeast for the future to do that with. He could just put more yeast and stuff in there to make it more likely. So he wants fruit though, doesn't he? To try and keep it really likely. There's no fruit in the display cuz he wants two to stay in here. So he needs at least another fruit. So there's one of his purchases. So my washback is unlocked.

22:34 How am I going to make two things? If we get a yeast, at least that's an extra money for me. Well, you know what? Marty's gonna do something different. He's richy rich. He is gonna actually buy this misin oak cask for two more money because he can serve a cocktail to something that's aging in this barrel. So, he could do that cuz you can only do one per round. So, we missed out not doing one in those first two rounds, but he could still try and keep up doing one every round. So, on this turn, he's still got five. He wants a cocktail recipe for something involving grain or plants. He's going to buy this one for two here and get two ingredients. It's going to be this and this. So, he could at least do the basic version of it. Slide these down. Okay. Marty doesn't need a bottle because he's only going to be selling one. One's going to be aging. I need another bottle. I'm going to say this rounded bottle down here just cuz it's cheap and I've got two more money left.

23:27 But I've got no sugar in this. Hi everyone. Just a quick pause here because I have a goof alert that's a bit too severe just for the cling on subtitles. In my excitement to show off all of the bits of cocktails. I have messed up a thing from base distilled. When you are selling multiple things in a round, you can keep reusing the glass bottle. It says on it once it's used it goes back to your store. So I've made it more difficult on everyone making them have to buy extra bottles when they're selling multiple things. So I don't want you to go away thinking that that's something that cocktails does. makes it harder. I have made it harder unnecessarily. Just bear in mind that we have spent more money than we would need to on bottles all the time and could have spent that on different ingredients and upgrades and things and maybe not made as many vodkas and moonshines. I won't keep stopping the video every time this happens, but here is a picture of little glass multi and his glass bottle.

24:18 Anytime this pops up, remember that instead of going to all of this trouble buying extra bottles every time, we could have just used the glass bottles. So, with that said, I'll hand you back now to a glass cat versus past me in a distillery competition. Marty is going to go for another basic grain. He spent all of his money. I think I am going to go for the basic grain. Marty is going to pass. I'm going to put the bottle in there yet. And I'm going to unlock aquit because this wants me to sell to a European spirit. I could potentially get three points from making that. I've got two chances to do it. both kind of unlikely, but I'll be making something different as well. Okay, let's do that. I think that's the end of the phase. So, these two gone and then these two, both of them are fortlifts. So, this whole row is getting refreshed again. So, you can have a look ahead at some stuff that's coming out for next round. Oh, why is Marty doing this? He hasn't he hasn't unlocked his wash back. He hasn't got the money for it. I suppose he's got all the ingredients for what he's going to do next round. So, he wanted to unlock that, but he couldn't afford it.

25:19 So, he's not going to he's not going to make any money, though. Is he going to sell points? He'll get them later on this lovely age thing. That's interesting. Okay, distilling for me. I've got one sugar in each. So, I'm going to get one alcohol for each. Marty has got four sugars in this. So, one, two, three, four alcohol. And let's see what we both make. So, mine I'm using my washback. I want to keep doing this really so I can make the most out of my two discount per time and just try and get a load of spirit tokens as well. So we get rid of the top and bottom. I'm hoping at least one of them keeps the grain. I can't make two aqua of it anyway. So this one's got the grain in it. Beautiful. And I've got some ingredients to start me off next time. And for this one, we are losing alcohol and water. They both got grain in. So, I can actually make another vodka. Yeah, I can't make moonshine. So, one we can say is aquate cuz they've got to be different things. So, we can say the other one is a vodka. And you've got to add the barrels. We've got two metal barrels. So, that is fine for those. And now for Marty. Quite a deck of distillation over here. He could be just chucking all of this stuff in actually.

26:34 Why is why doesn't he chuck in I suppose he wants to try and make two things next time, but we are going to remove two things from this. Maybe he'll chuck in another alcohol as well. Yeah, he could chuck in everything. The extra yeast as well, but no, he'll chuck in one more alcohol because it could be one more money for when he does get to sell this. So, remove the top. It's a yeast. The bottom it's Oh, his special sugar. So, he could return it to just been distilled. That's the power of his signature recipe. I think he will. Worth more points, worth more money. He's going to return it. And this is his signature Romanian palinka. It must include it must include apples as well. So he needs to cuz otherwise it's just mixed fruits. So he needs a wood barrel and it's going to be worth a lot of points. 15 points for making this. It has got I can verify that it has got at least two sugars in it and one of them's apples and it goes in his warehouse.

27:31 He's going to age something. I on the other hand I'm not. So in the cell phase, it's just going to be me. Sell this Aquavit. Oh, that is blue. So that should go in the rounded bottle and this should go in the glass bottle. So the Aqua is going to be worth one, two, three money. Not a ton. Marcy did kind of fail making the moonshine, but it made him a lot of money. And then for points, it's worth three plus three because I'm selling it to Europe. So that's going to pop me on 13. Keep the bottle for me collection. barrel goes back and we lose the rest. And then for the vodka, that is going to be worth three four money. Keep the bottle and barrel and lose the rest. And we've got two spirit tokens. I'm going to put the aquit down here. Discard any card from your pantry. Just going to discard a yeast to get something from the truck. So, from the discard piles.

28:21 Going to get this clay barrel. So, I'm thinking about trying to make this shou next. Age it and try and earn a load of money out of it. And the recipe is kind of cheap for now. And I'm going to go for five money with the vodka label. Marty has nothing in the cell phase, but in the age phase, he pops these in his warehouse and he grabs a flavor card. So, we've got no idea what this is going to add to it just yet, but it's acquired a certain taste in the warehouse. And then we can go to the cocktail phase. So, in turn order, serve one cocktail per round. Oh, I unlocked that. I unlocked another recipe, didn't I? I meant to come over here and buy the more expense and buy some more things cuz these would actually refresh at the end of the market phase, wouldn't they again? Oh well, there's so many shiny things to do. Get distracted by another one of them. Okay, so that's refilled.

29:08 And we do get to roll. And in the Kickstarter, by the way, this you can get like a a cocktail shaker to roll the dice in. That's what's going to be coming up next time. So, I am going to do the basic version of this. two of this, one of this to get me one renown. When I get renown, I get an equal amount of money. I get myself this kind of glass. So, we've got the the tokens. I get myself set high glass. I don't know the names of glasses. Why am I trying to guess? This goes in something that wants to be wheat or fruit. But Marty is diverging now into better recipes. I can still make my signature recipe in the future, but it's not going to be, I don't think, as lucrative as when Marty made his. Just going to try and throw a load of money at it and put it in a fancy bottle and stuff. An African bottle would be nice if one comes out. Okay, we're saying leave it there. So, Discord and refresh the market a bit. Oh, we've got some apples.

Uh oh, I need an extra alcohol in there. So, that is null and void. Unfortunately, I forgot my turbo yeast cuz we've been wasting all this time. Well, not wasting time. We've been competing, haven't we, for to try and do all of the double washbacks and haven't been buying premium things until now. Two alcohol removed. So, same thing. The fruit's going to be in there. It's going to be worth some points, but might have been better hanging on to that premium fruit for my signature recipe to qualify for some collectors. We'll see how it all shakes out. So, that's got two fruit in it, but I haven't unlocked brandy or have barrels or anything for it. Fisco, it wouldn't have qualified for and I haven't unlocked the recipe. So, that's going to be a good old-fashioned vodka.

He is going to be a bit cash poor next time cuz he isn't going to be able to spend points to get four money. Ooh, that might be rough. And no points. Three points in total. 1, two, three. So, he's on 54. Oh, he needs he needs a bottle in it actually, I think, cuz he was he was selling a blue spirit. That's what he was going to do. So, an extra point and an extra money and a renown was his plan cuz that's going to be Oh, not quite his next stack. When he does his cocktail, it'll be the next stack. And he wants to try and make his way over to America, doesn't he? So, then he'll be in every continent at least once. And in here, he's in five times. So, he'll nearly qualify for the six for me selling.

And that's going to be the wrapped bottle because he does want to have the most bottles for America andor Europe. And he wants two bottles next time anyway. It only cost three. He hasn't made the most out of that, but it's all right. But look at this stainless steel barrel. If that had come out earlier, extra two money, extra point every time, and it goes back to your store room. Came out too late for us, though, didn't it? Wash back is now going to be locked. So, what am I doing with my vodka? Oh, I want my signature ingredient, don't I? My plums. And then for my soju, that is one, two, three money. No extra points. It is five points. So, we might as well get the umbrella here and the alcohol here. And we're close. I think we'll probably if if Marty can do a good one. He We probably not going to empty our whole things, are we? He gets a free ingredient and then a mixer. But remember, he's got to buy the a cocktail recipe as well. And he doesn't have the best mixers. Just have another grain and then it's just going to make vodka. So, he's got this Aquavit. It's going to be quite a pricey thing, but if he focuses on that, he could probably make something good out of it. He's just not going to have an umbrella. Going to be rough. Might just have to be a vodka.

I need three fruit to stay in this. This is going to be really tough. I'm going to buy a mixed fruit basic cuz that's all I'm guaranteed.

So, if I buy the fruit, I can't distill again. But isn't it better to make one great thing? We'd get another alcohol to add to this. It's just if you removed any sugar, it would be over. It's still going to be risky. You're only going to have four out of three in there. We're not going to distill twice. The end. I just wish there was some premium fruit out. So, Marty's got one money. He's going to go for yeast and get a money. I'm going to buy this distillery upgrade, which means I only have to get rid of the top card rather than both because it's worth a point and five money is a point at the end of the game anyway. Get a basic fruit in your pantry at the start of every round.

Nothing worth game for two money, I don't think. Okay, so no point refreshing them. It's the end of the game. You can still get them in bonuses. I've just got a recipe as a bonus. Yeah, we're not getting anything from any of this. So, I have got four sugars in this. Still not guaranteed. We are guaranteed, aren't we? Because I'm only removing the top thing. I'm only removing one anyway. See, otherwise, it would still have been a risk. This is definitely going to be my signature thing, but how much money and stuff is it going to be worth? So I have the soju wheat based thing there. Two fizz, cherries, jubilee, and two umbrellas gives me three renown and a tiki glass, which doesn't really matter cuz I've got all of the kinds anyway. So these things score for things that are even in your warehouse stuff. Uh, so a point for every metal barrel. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 nine. That's going to kill me, isn't it? Then one for everything from his home region. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 That's it. I don't have any of that. Multiply collected cocktail glasses by the total visible things. We both got all the cocktail glasses and four revealed. So that's going to be 16 each. We're now in the regions. I think we've worked out actually. So I've got 333.

1:21:08 So that is going to be nine points. So I'm in every region three times. And then Marty is in every region twice, but then he's in one region six times. Oh, no, he's not. Five. Okay, so he's a bit behind on there, but only three points. Still a massive lead from those. Oh, the collectors. I thought I was doing well on renown, though. Uh, your mixer tokens turn into money. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven for Marty and six for me. And then we turn your money into points. Every five money is a point. So Marty's got three there. I think I've got more than that, but I haven't got like this isn't going to turn into like 20 points that I need. Uh I've got 29. So that's going to translate into five points. And so there we go. Marty with 97 appealing to those collectors massively as well to my measly 84 for just not pleasing them all. made a lot of stuff. But that's a lot of vodka there when you haven't got the co-op manager scoring you a load of things. A point for each of the things.

1:22:16 That was such a good one to get. But it wasn't that that made it for him. It was the collector scoring pretty close on a lot of stuff, but he managed to achieve the same amount I did while also pleasing the collectors. Whereas I never did anything any kind of beer that impressive. Pot helped by his signature recipe. But yeah, if I hadn't made that other fruit thing and I'd saved those premium fruits maybe to make that worth more points, I don't know if it could have appealed still. But I missed some opportunities for sure. But anyway, that is just an example of a two-player game of distilled with the cocktails expansion and all of the bits of the cocktail expansion turned on is huge. If you are a fan of distilled, this takes it about as far as you could take distilled while still not making it overwhelming as well. like you can you can just get used to the double washback being on for a start, but having all of these extra things to think about, it's so good, but it will make the game thinkier and longer as well.
