hello graduates it's Stella from mle University and this is Stella's short and sweet preview for pcks from tangerine [Music] games the mountains are calling and I must go it's only working right just a little more vertical I've got all my gear carabinas thick jacket ice pick gloves scarf o another thick jacket beanie another scarf I don't do well with Co all right but I want to reach the pigs and be on top of the world let's go the game plays one to six players with mechanics such as Resource Management lead and follow and area influence the game is of light to medium complexity in pigs plays are aspiring Mountaineers trying to gain experience gear and climb the greatest PS around the world each 10 you take one of three actions rest travel to any continent and regain energy prepare choose a mountain card from the display and collect some gear and climb to climb one of your Mountain cards when you climb you move to the right continent if you're not already there and pay the requirements for the easier mountains you just need to pay energy it's just a day of hiking like a with far easy peasy boogy but easy on some mountains you need to spend gear Bobby here is a two-day climb I'm going to have set up for camp for Theon [Music] night sometimes you need to climatize so you have to already be in the right continent prior to the turn when you attempt a climb woo the air is thin up there on Vin kunka but for the test mountains you need mountaineering experience meet the requirement on the experience track before attempting your [Music] climb what are you doing here well I heard you were climbing arcky Mount Cook and I thought it sounded fun so I tagged along many hands make light work they only make light work if you actually help eh it's your shift I'll lead on the way down [Music] anytime you climb all the players have the chance to tag along whether you've asked them to or not tag alongs also pay the gear and energy but everyone pays less energy many hands do make light work you also gain the benefit of their experience add the experiences of the lead player and the most experienced tag along to determine the whole party experience once climbed the lead player gets their choice from two rows of benefits and Take Along get the unchosen road benefits include stamina to increase the energy you get when you rest di or t upgrades to make your action stronger companion cards with special abilities or experience you can add to clients bonus cards for end of game objectives and planting Flags the main way to gain points halfway through the game the display will switch from the beginner mountains to the advanced ones climbing taller and more dangerous Peaks like Mount Cook punchak ja and Everest the tallest of the mall the game plays until someone places all 16 Flags players get F the flags for points for bonus cards area control of continents and leading the most crimes and the player with the most likes is the best Mountaineer and wins what a few this is what makes it all worthwhile it's very satisfying to build your engine to become the best Mountaineer and even more satisfying to tag along on someone else's expedition to get some cheap benefits you also gain benefit when you've done the same actions several times like experience flag or upgrades giving you some specialization if you want your Tactical movement becomes important as for the harder climatization mountains you need to be in the right place to take along and may need to chase your opponents around the map with enough energy available to get the opportunities don't quite have the experience to climb a mountain well you can still give it a shot just roll the danger die for each point of deficiency if you roll a danger symbol you still succeed but you lose any benefits with this red triangle for the most dangerous climbs you need to roll this die even if you meet the experience level hello hello hello and the game features Illustrated cars and different Mountains from all around the world perfect if you want to take in the beauty from the living room without any risk of ambulance sir thanks for watching folks check out P's project page I'll put the link in the description below the components featured in this video are prototype so rules and artwork are not final you will help us by like the video subscribe and hit the bell and comments below if you have any questions I also share my board games Journey on Instagram and our other YouTube channel me University shorts in life hopefully I will see you there too see you next time
