Queen Alice - Teach & Playthrough
Transcript
Hi everyone, my name is Monique
and I'm Naveen from Before You Play
and today we're going to be doing a two-player playthrough of a game that is coming to Game Found called Queen Alice.
Yes, this game is designed by Hector Carrion as well as David Harris and published by Combo Games who are helping sponsor this playthrough. Now, in this game, players are in Louiswis Carol's Through the Looking Glass World where we're members of the court and it is our job to put on the finest banquet for Queen Alice's coronation and whoever does it the best will become her right-hand person.
That's right. This is a medium to heavy strategy game for one to four players that plays in about one to two hours in which players will need to manage their hand of cards representing various chess pieces and manipulating these pieces on the chess board in order to gain resources and take actions on four other boards ultimately influencing whether Alice becomes the white queen or the red queen. Now, there's a lot more to the game than that. And so, as per usual, we are going to start with a full te of the game and go straight into a two-player playthrough. If you'd like to drop around, we'll include timestamps in the description below.
Now, of course, we do have to mention this is a prototype copy of the game, so things are subject to change in the future. If you are interested in the campaign, there's that link in the description which you can check out. And lastly, if you like these kind of videos and you want to see more in the future, please consider subscribing.
And otherwise, we are ready to begin. So, if you'd please direct your attention to the center of the table, we're all set up here for a two-player game of Queen Alice. Welcome to the Looking Glass world.
Yes, lots to look at. And so, like we're mentioning, in this game, players are members of the court of the Looking Glass world who are trying to prepare for Alice's coronation banquet in the hopes of becoming the queen's new chief adviser. So, if you're familiar with the story, over the course of the game, we're going to be utilizing the assistance of these chess pieces in order to determine whether Alice will be the Red Queen or the White Queen. And along the way, we'll also be visiting other characters from the story, including Tweedled D and Tweedled Dum. We have Humpty Dumpty over here, the Madhatter and the March Hair, as well as the Lovely Garden in an effort to sway the coordination one way or the other. Now, in general, the way that the game works is players will be taking turns moving a chest piece on the board according to their normal chess moves and then taking an action on one of the four auxiliary boards, which are sort of like four different mini games.
Yes, we have the garden board here. We're going to be trying to put out our various hearts to collect different things. We also have this board here where we're going to try to go up these different tracks and deliver invitations. Here we have Humpty Dumpty who's going to be sitting on that wall and we're going to be trying to construct various pieces with our diamond pieces. Right.
And finally, this last one over here, we have this tree which Tweedled D and Tweedled Dum are going to try to race up and learn the knowledge of the Looking Glass world.
Now, each action that you take will be based on the color of the chess piece that you move, which will ultimately influence whether Alice becomes the red queen or the white queen at the end of the game. In addition, reaching the end of a track or putting out all of your tokens of one color will earn you a crown in that color. And at the end of the game, you'll score points for each of your crowns that matches the color of Queen Alice.
Yes. For example, if I was to put out my last red heart into the garden board over there, it gains me a red crown. And so, basically, at the end of the game, if Alice is the red queen, then I'd score points for that. If she's the white queen, I would not score points.
Right? So players can potentially be invested in one color over the other depending on what actions that you take and which crowns you earn. Now each player has their own cordier board and an identical 10 card deck which we will shuffle and draw three cards from at the start of the game. And each card looks like this. Each card follows the same structure whether it's the basic cards that are found in your initial deck or the advanced cards which you can pick up throughout the course of the game. They each represent one of the chess pieces on the board and they have features on all four corners of the card. So as an example, this card represents the white pawn which is shown both in the image as well as in the top lefthand corner here. The bottom lefthand corner will show a bonus that you gain when playing the card during your turn. The basic cards don't have one which is why this is blank. The bottom right hand corner gives you a bonus that you'll gain for discarding the card on your turn. And so in the case of this card, this is a time which is one of the resources in the game. And then at the top right hand corner of the card, it tells you how many points the card will be worth if you call the card, which is thematically inviting the character, but you're essentially taking the card out of your deck for the rest of the game. So then, starting with the first player and going clockwise, a player's turn consists of four steps, and they can be found here on your player board. On your turn, you'll always start by discarding a card from your hand, gaining its discard bonus. And so, as an example, if it were my turn, I could start by discarding this card from my hand, gaining myself one time. Now, in this game, there are four main types of resources. We have cherry cake, tea, and buttered toast, which we represent via our cubes here in
the middle of our board, as well as time. And so, at the top right hand corner of our board, we actually have our little clock here, which is going to keep track of how much time we have. And we'll explain how we use the various resources later. But just keep in mind that this step is mandatory. So, you must always discard one card from your hand at the start of your turn.
And keep in mind, this is discarding, not callulling the card,
right? Then you must now choose a card from your hand and play it, gaining the play benefit and requiring you to move the indicated chess piece on the board. So, as an example, my two options here are the white bishop or the red knight. Neither of which have a play bonus because these are the basic cards again that start in my deck. Moving a chest piece will determine which of the four boards we get to take our action as well as which type of resource we gain this turn. Now, when moving a chess piece, they actually follow the actual rules of chess. And so, if you are not familiar with how that plays, there will be a resource guide that comes with the game. Over the course of our playthrough, we will just discuss how they move as we move the pieces. But, as an example, let's just say I play this card, requiring me to move the red knight. If you're familiar with chess, you know that the red knight moves in an L-ike formation, which is basically three spaces in an L-ike formation in any direction as long as I can stay on the board. So, I can move backwards if I have a legal spot to move to. But, let's just say I move the knight uh over here.
So, it's one, two, three spaces away in an L-ike shape. After moving the piece, you first gain a resource, and that's going to be to the left of the row your piece is now in. So, some rows will gain you specifically butter toast, specifically cherry cake, or tea. But in the case of the row that I am now in, I get to choose between the three. At the start of the game, players start with three resource cubes on their silver platter, which means we can only hold up to three resources max until we unlock these additional black cubes. Now, one thing to keep in mind is that in general, when taking actions for the red color, you'll typically need to spend cherry cake. And when taking actions for the white, you'll typically need to spend buttered toast. So, because I moved the red knight, I will be forced to take a red action this turn, which will make sense in a second. And so for this, I might choose to take a cherry cake. Then once you've gained your resource, you now take an action on the board that is depicted in the column that your piece is now in. So each board corresponds to one of the four different uh card suits. So we have the heart board, spades, diamonds, as well as clubs. And so in this example, uh this column pertains to the diamond board, which means I will be required to take an action on the Humpty Dumpty board.
Yes. And each board has actions for either the red side or the white side. And because Monnique is using a red piece, she is basically forced to take redside actions. Now, the exception is the middle column here that is indicated by a star. And this is considered to be wild. So, if I were to have instead moved the knight over here, landing it along this column, then I can choose between the four boards where I would like to take my action. However, I am required to pay one resource of my choice. And when spending resources, you simply return your resource cube back to the silver platter. And by the way, anytime you gain a resource, if you have run out of cubes, such as say it look like this, and I were to gain butter toast, you can always choose to return a cube to the silver platter to then gain that resource. And if you're ever in dire need of a resource that you don't have, such as say I needed to spend butter toast and I have a lot of time, you can always spend three time in exchange for one resource. But it has to be when spending the resource, you cannot spend the three time to hold on to one.
Yeah, it's just like a transactional thing.
Now, before we talk about the different action boards, one last note about the chess board is that just like in typical chess, you can capture pieces.
Yes. And the way that capturing works also is like chess, and that'll be in the resource guide as well.
And if you are familiar with chess, by the way, pawns will only ever move one space forward, no matter what. which also means when capturing. So let's just say on a future turn I were to play the white pawn. Pawns capture in a diagonal fashion. So in moving this white pawn, this is again a future turn. Uh I would be able to capture this red knight. And whenever you capture pawns, they go into the jail of the capturing color. And so each player has two jails on their board, a red and a white one. Because I captured with a white pawn, then the knight would go into the white jail. And the benefit to doing this is that you gain a bonus depending on the captured piece. If you were to capture a pawn, that gains you one time. If you capture a bishop, rook, or knight, then you get one time and a buttered toast if it's from the white jail.
And if you were to capture either the king or the queen, then you would get those resources plus a movement on your paw print track. So, as you can see, we have this puppet track for the red as well as the the white side or influence. And basically going up this track gains you bonuses along the way as well as the ability to score some of these endgame tokens which we'll talk about later. Now on a future turn if either player wanted to play the red knight we still can. We would respawn the red knight placing uh this piece on any of the available highlighted squares of their color. And the player who had captured that piece gains one time as a reward.
Yeah. So you're basically breaking them out of jail and the person who held on to them gets one time for that.
Right. And that is regardless of what piece was in jail. So that is how the entire chess area here works.
By the way, you can also break out a piece that's in your own jail.
Yes.
Also, when you break out a piece from one of the jails u and you put it on its spawn point, you don't actually move it anymore. That's the place where you're going to be taking the action as well as getting the resource depicted.
Now, as for the different actions, like we're mentioning, each board has sort of a red and a white path, but the action you take must be the color of the chest piece that you moved. And so, starting with the heart board, which is the lovely garden over here. Here we are going to be placing out our heart tokens from our board into the garden. These tokens must be placed from bottom to top and they cost resources depending on the color. So in the case of the red heart, I would have to spend one cherry cake, but it would get me a buttered toast. So each of these heart tokens gains you a bonus uh depending on which one you're placing out. And when placing out your token, it must be placed in the section of the garden where the like type gardener is in. At the start of the game, the gardener will start sort of out of the garden. And so, if it is your first time uh placing a token, then you can choose which of the corresponding planters to place the gardener in. So, then I can choose any of the three flowers to place my token on, and I would gain the benefit. And one of the main benefits that you'll get from this board are one of the four different live flower tokens, which basically gain you an ongoing benefit depending on how many of that specific color you have in your possession. So, as an example, because I covered up this space here, that gets me a pink flower. And each player has their own player aid here, which details the benefits of all the different flowers.
If I have one pink flower now for the rest of the game, I do not have to pay a resource when taking the middle wild action column. In addition, as soon as I gain a second one, my benefit here is now for the rest of the game, any time I to move a chess piece into one of these four rows, I then gain the indicated amount of time to the right of the row.
Yeah. So, very good. So, if Mon'nique had the ability to move this knight and they moved or she moved them here,
she would get the cherry cake. Yes.
She would be able to take the depicted action here without spending a resource. Uh, so she gets to take a wild action of one of the boards and also she would gain one time
if I had a second pink flower.
Exactly.
Now, one thing that I should note is now that the gardener is in the garden before placing out your token, you can optionally move the gardener to a different planter by paying one T. One T spent lets you move the gardener to the left or the right planter. And if you spend two, then you can move it to the opposite side. Yep.
And so that is how the garden board works. Our goal, of course, is to be able to put out all of our heart tokens. And so, if you put out all five of them, then that'll earn you a crown in that color.
Yes. And actually putting out your third heart in a depicted color allows you to advance the appropriate Alice. So, that would be the red Alice in this case, and she would move up closer, scoring that person eight points and also getting them closer to the queen,
right? And there are various ways for us to be able to advance Alice on her track. It is not uh easy. you typically have to do a certain thing multiple times before getting to that point. But advancing Alice not only scores you points but also gets her closer to being the queen of that color. And by the way, at the end of the game, neither Alice has to get to the very end of the track. They just have to be further advanced than the other in order to be considered the queen.
All right, moving on to the diamond board. Here we have Humpty Dumpty. And similar to the gardens, instead of hearts, we're going to be putting out our diamond pieces. depending on the color action you're taking. These diamonds are actually bricks which are used to build the brick wall that Humpty Dumpty is sitting on. Now, when taking an action here, you'll first choose an available space and that's going to be a space that shows a bonus on it. And you'll first have to pay its cost. Now, one thing that you have to keep in mind is that you'll actually choose a column and you have to choose the lowest available space in that column because each of these bricks has to be supported by a brick underneath it. Does that make sense?
Like how bricks are. And so as an example, if I were to choose this spot here, I would have to pay one buttered toast. So the cost of the resource is not only to the side of the row, but it's also at the top of the corresponding column because some of these columns require you to spend tea. After spending my resource, I can actually choose between the five diamonds that I have here because they all grant me a different bonus. So I can build them in any order of my choosing. Some of them, such as this one, will gain me two time. Others, such as this one, will allow me to unlock one of my black resource cubes. I know it's kind of small, but if ever you see a black cube with a resource on top, that allows you to take one of your locked black cubes and place it on the resource that it's granting you. Now, for the rest of the game, that black cube is going to act just like any of my other resource cubes, which means when I spend the resource, it actually goes back to my silver platter and I can continue to use it again. In addition, if the cube is on my silver platter and I need to spend a resource that I don't have, I can choose to spend it as a wild resource, returning it back to my locked area. So that is sort of the additional benefit of having specifically a black cube.
So that means it will be out of circulation. You'll have to find another way to get it back in.
Right? Then after gaining my bonus, I would place the brick and I would gain the bonus of the space I'm covering. In addition, if the space is in the same row as the corresponding Humpty Dumpty half because these are both halves of Humpty Dumpty, then I would also gain two influence points, which are the points in the game. And if I were to have placed the final brick, instead of gaining two influence points, I would gain four points. And then Humpty Dumpty would move up uh to the next row,
the appropriate Humpty Dumpty, so white in this case.
But that's essentially all there is to this board. It's quite simple and similar to the heart. If I were to place out my third uh diamond, then I get to advance the light colored Alice on her track and placing out the final one gains me a crown of that color. All right, so then moving on to the spade and the clubs boards. Both of these boards are tracks which we would need to progress our tokens up on. When taking an action on the spade board, we have the mad hatter who represents the red actions and the marchair who represents the white actions. And basically our goal here is to progress our markers all the way to the top of the middle column gaining us a crown. And so when taking an action, you'll first decide if you want to progress up one, two, or three spaces. And you'll have to pay resources depending on how far you go.
Yeah. So one resource gets you one movement, two gets you two, and then two of the depicted resource plus a tea gets you three movement.
Yes. And what he means by that is that of course the red actions are cherry cake and the white actions are buttered toast. And also in these tracks, they bifurcate. So you basically have the choice as to which direction you want to go. The key thing here is you only get the rewards of the landed spot,
right? So as an example, if I were to move my march hair two spaces by paying two butter toast, then I would go one and then I would choose between moving this way or this way. And let's just say I went here for two.
I would gain the depicted bonus, which is three influence points in this example. And the thing that is unique to this board is anytime you take an action here, you will always be able to gain a card of the type depicted on the banner. In the earlier sections of the track, you'll be able to gain bronze cards, then silver, and eventually gold. And whenever you gain a card of a specific color, you can choose between the three that are uh depicted in the display. The left one is free, the middle one costs one time, and the card that is on top of the deck basically cost you a resource of your choice. What's nice about getting these cards is they go directly in your hand so you can deploy them on the very next turn.
Yes. And you know this is deck building so you can basically cater your deck depending on which pieces or which colors especially you want to move.
Yeah. Again this is a chess board so things are going to be moving around and you can see opportunity to capture pieces and get other bonuses as well.
In addition, these advanced cards all have bonuses uh for playing the card. Yes.
So they're going to be much sweeter in terms of their benefits compared to your basic cards. I mean, this bishop gets you two points if you play them.
Yeah, that's pretty nice. And the amount of points you get for culling these cards are going to be worth more than your basic cards. Now, I should mention that when taking a card action for taking an action here, instead of gaining a card from the market board, you can instead choose to call a card from either your hand or your discard pile. So, you're not required to take a card, you can always choose to call a card instead. And lastly, there is a bit of a race element when it comes to this board. There are certain uh thresholds for when crossing gain you the higher points if you're the first player to cross that threshold and each subsequent player gains the lower points for crossing that. In addition, just like the other boards, there are certain thresholds here that also allow you to advance Alice along her indicated track. And getting to the end of the track here gains you a crown in that color. But that's essentially it for the spade board. Lastly, we have the clubs board over here, which features Tweedle D and Tweedle Dumb and their tree that they are trying to climb. When taking an action on this board, in order to climb to higher levels of this tree, you'll need to follow the paths and pay a certain amount of resources depending on the path you choose. As an example, if it's your first time progressing up the tree, and let's just say I were to move my white I don't know if this is Tweedle Dumb, maybe. Um, I can choose to either move to the left here, uh, landing on this space by paying one buttered toast, or I can pay three buttered toast to directly move to the second level up here.
By the way, I think this might be a fantastic time to, uh, let you know that anytime you see a number in black, that is a cost.
Yes.
And a number in white is a benefit or something you gain.
Right now, whenever you land on a space on this board, um, and when taking an action, you're only progressing up once. You can't choose to progress up several times, but wherever you land, you gain those specific books from the supplies. So, these are actual tokens that you're gaining. Yeah, there are three different colors. There's like a light green, a green, and a blue. And uh after gaining these tokens, then you can optionally choose to buy one bookmark from the supply by turning in a certain combination of them. In general, there are three main types of rewards. You have immediate benefits. You also have ones that you can utilize once per round. And then you have like uh endgame scoring types. But going back to the tree, some of these spaces, such as this one over here, has an actual token. So if you're the first player to move to that space, then you gain the printed book as well as the token. Now, each subsequent player that lands on the space gains the book and the other printed benefit instead. So that is the main goal of this board. You're going to want to collect these books to turn them in for these bookmarks, which can be quite strong. Yeah. And just like the other boards, progressing to the third height here allows you to move the corresponding Alice piece. And getting to the very top of the tree gains you a crown. And that's essentially it. Those are all four boards. Now, as you can probably tell, there are a lot of different types of bonuses and rewards that you'll be gaining throughout the game. We didn't go over all of them, but in general, some bonuses will gain you time. Some will allow you to go up the paw print tracks. Some unlock your black cubes, and some, such as this bookmark tile here, gain you a mini action of a
specific board. In this example, this lets me take the mini action of the hearts board. And those are basically like simple versions of whatever that board gains you. In the case of the heart and the diamonds as an example, they allow you to remove the bottommost corresponding tiles or any tile really in the case of the diamonds and you don't get to place it out, but you still gain its bonus. And similarly, the bottom two boards just gains you one movement. But the thing that's neat about mini action specifically is you do not have to resolve the color of the chest piece that you moved that turn.
Yeah. So if Mon'nique played a white pawn Yes. and she was granted a mini action during her turn, right? She could take a red mini action.
Now, going back to a player's turn, once you finish taking your action, the third step here is optional. This allows you to spend six time in order to take the same action again. So, that is one of the main things that you're going to be spending time for in this game to be able to maximize your turn by taking the same action multiple times. You of course still have to pay the resources required of that action, but it just allows you to do more on your turn.
Yeah, and that's actually what the benefit of the orange flower is. If you have one of those, instead of being able to take the second action or that same action for six time, it's five instead,
right? But again, it is optional. And once that's done, then you always end your turn by resting. And this is basically just clean up. You draw back up to your hand size, which is going to be either three or five if you have the yellow flower. And we would also refill the market display at that time, sliding down any cards as needed. Then it would move on to the next player. Now, as soon as either Alice progresses up far enough on the track to reach these tokens here, this is actually a scoring criteria. And there are several of these tokens that come with the game. These four are the recommended tokens for your first game, and they're going to be stuff like two points for each of the diamonds that you've removed from your board of both colors. This top one here is similar. It's two points for each heart that you remove from your board of both colors.
And so, as an example, as soon as this white Alice piece progresses far enough the track to reach this space, at the end of that player's turn, all players will score for that condition. In addition, reaching these spaces requires you to remove one of the crowns that are on the bottom of the board because this is the timer for the game. So, this crown would actually get placed here. And while we're on the topic of crowns, one thing that we didn't mention is anytime you gain a crown for maxing out something on your playerboard or on these tracks, you actually physically take a crown from the board and you place it on the next available space of Alice's corresponding track. So, if you earned a red crown, then you would place it on the next available space in front of Alice on the red track, and you would immediately score the amount of points shown on the space times two. Yeah,
because the crowns are worth a lot. This is probably where you're going to score um a strong majority of your points.
16 points.
Now, in the case of reaching these scoring tokens, you still remove a crown from the board, but you do not score the multiplier on them. They're just used to help move along the timing of the game
because as soon as the last crown is taken from the board, that signals the end of the game. You finish out the round so that players have had an equal number of turns and then you go into endame scoring. But before we talk about that, just something to note that as soon as these crowns are placed on the tracks, um anytime Alice were to progress up that track, she would now hop over any spaces that have a crown. So it sort of moves Alice faster along her route. Now, once we've reached the end of the game, we are first going to see which Alice piece is closest to the throne, and that is the queen that Alice becomes. So in this example, the white queen is closest. So Alice becomes the white queen. Each player will score eight points for the white crown specifically that they've earned because that is the color of queen Alice has become.
And if it just so happens that at the end of the game both Alice's are tied, then you score eight points for each of your crowns.
Then each player will also score points depending on how far along they progressed up the paw print track because uh along the track you'll see this times one and times two. These pertain to the scoring tokens that are on the same side of Alice's track. You basically get to score either one of them. in the case of reaching at least uh this far along the track or both of them if you reach the times two. In addition, if Alice becomes queen of a specific color, then those tokens get flipped to their more powerful side, scoring you even more points at the end of the game. So, these are things that you want to consider as you play the game to try to maximize your points.
And you will be able to score for both paw print tracks regardless of which queen type Alice becomes,
right? The queen just dictates which tokens get flipped over to their more powerful side. Lastly, players will score any of their endgame scoring bookmarks and all of the points that are depicted at the top right hand corner for the cards that you've called throughout the game. So, these cards will get tucked under your board because they will no longer be in your deck.
Don't forget about callulling.
But that's essentially it. Now, I know there was a lot to keep track of, but we're going to be narrating our turns, and so we're just go get cleaned up and get started with our playthrough.
Okay, we are all set up. We are ready to go. We shuffled our deck and drew three cards each. Uh, we do have to figure out who's going to be going first.
Uh, odds. One, two, three.
Odds. Me. It's going to be me.
All right. So, Naveen is going to be our first player today, which means he gets the mirror token. You get the looking glass. Be careful with it.
Thank you. Now, we did have some setup. We were each dealt two train cards. There's a deck of them, and this is the one I chose. They are each double-sided. And uh this basically gives us our starting resources and kind of a leg up in a certain area. Yes. So for me, I chose this particular card. It gives me two times. So I've put that on my wheel. One butter toast. So now I have a butter toast. Also, I got to move the Mad Hatter two spaces on that spade board. So that's why I'm over here. And finally, I was able to draw a silver card. And I had to draw the one that is on the far left. So I actually have a fourth card in my hand. One of which is a silver card.
Yes. And at the end of his turn, he's still only going to draw up until he has three cards. So, he's not going to have four cards, you know, moving forward.
And the opposite of that was very, very, very similar, ex except um so I could have chosen uh to move the hair. Yes.
Uh get two time and then a cherry cake instead. So, it's basically kind of the inverse flip. Yes. Uh if you kind of uh were following on the
same benefits, it's just depending on what color you sort of want to start with a leg up on. And that depends also on the cards that you have in your hand. That's probably why you're making that decision.
Yes. Just a sort of like a starting strategy. As for me, I chose this train car over here on the white side. So Naveen went red, I went white. And when you choose these cards, you do them simultaneously and you reveal them at the same time. So I did not know that information at the time. My card lets me start the game with six time. I start with one cherry cake. And I had to remove specifically the diamond that's covering the two time space. Placing it on the brick board specifically on that spot. So that doesn't get me any additional rewards, but I do have one of my diamonds off of my my board.
Very good.
Also, before we begin, we do need to mention that a few of these boards are on their two-player side. So, if you're playing with higher player counts, that'll explain sort of why some of the boards look different. Some of the art is also going to be changing. So, just so you're aware, we talked about this during our intro, but this is a prototype copy of the game.
In addition, because we are playing the two-player game, we only have six crowns at the bottom here. So, that dictates how long our game is going to be. And lastly, let's just talk about the four Alice wish tokens that we have on the board, shall we? Yes.
Now, if you did not join us for the teach, uh we have several of these that come with the game, but we chose to play with the four starting ones, and they sort of just reward you points for doing a little bit of everything. So, in the case of the white track here, this will score you two influence points. And again, this is as soon as Alice reaches that uh part of the board and at the end of the game potentially, this is two influence points for each of the diamonds you have removed from both sides of your player board. This is the same thing, but two points for the heart tokens. Over here, we have three influence points depending on how far you progressed up the tree with Tweedle D and Tweedle Dum. And up here we have one point for each uh progression up the track of your the MadHatter and the Marchair.
Yeah. So every single step is one point technically.
And you'll add both of your tokens together in the case of both of these boards. Yep.
All right. And otherwise everything else we'll discuss as you play the game. So for now I think we're ready to get started. Are you ready?
I'm ready. Yes.
Navine is our first player.
You have to really think about what you want to do here.
That's true.
So I'm going to take the first turn. And again on your turn you are going to follow these four steps here. So, the very first thing you're going to do is discard a card and gain its benefit. I'm going to discard this card here. This one is uh the knight, the white knight. And that basically means I'm going to gain one time.
Yes.
And now I have three. Then in step B, I am going to play one of the remaining cards in my hand. And I am going to play, of course, that silver card I just picked up. Uh so this one is going to allow me to gain a Butter Toast. And I can callull a card if I would like.
Wow.
I am not ready to callull a card, but I will take the Butter Toast. Okay, that's optional. That is the play benefit. If you did not join us for the teach, none of the basic cards have a play bonus. This is just because Naveen was able to take an advanced card as part of his setup train.
The train,
which is really nice.
So now going back to this card, I am required to move the chess piece that is depicted, which is the white pawn. And of course, there's four white pawns. So I have a couple options here.
I am going to move this one here.
Yes.
So this is the one that is in this heart row. Now, if you are familiar with chess, pawns could technically move two pe two places. Not in this game. They only move one place.
Yes.
So, I'm going to do that. I'm going to gain the depicted uh resource, which is a butter toast. I have so much butter toast.
Oh my gosh, you only have butter toast. So, we're going heavy white strategy right now.
That's what I have right now. Yes.
Then I'm going to take the action that is on the depicted column, uh, which happens to be the hearts board. So, that means I'm going to go to the garden over here.
Yes. So, the first thing I'm going to have to do is pay for that heart that I'm going to be putting out into the garden. And this one, uh, it's because it's a white piece that I moved. It's the white heart over here.
Yes. The bottommost.
The bottommost. So, I'm going to have to, uh, turn in a butter toast.
Yes.
To the silver platter. And then the benefit I get for doing that is getting a cherry cake.
How nice.
Yes. Very good. So, now, because the gardener is off the board, I basically have free uh, rain on any of these different planters. So, I will put the gardener here.
Yeah.
And then I'm gonna place my heart on this flower here. This is the pink flower.
Nice.
So, now I have a pink flower. This pink flower, I'm just going to put it on my board just so I don't forget what what I have. And I'll just place it there. Um, we kind of briefly went over in the teach what the pink flower does, but basically from now on for the rest of the game, I can take actions in the center column where the star is, and I do not have to face the penalty of paying any one resource. Yes, it's it's a nice free way of taking that wild action. And we can just kind of briefly go over these. What do you think? Yeah, sure.
So, yeah, they're not too complicated. If you did not join us for the teach, having two of the pink flowers will also allow you to gain time if you land your piece in one of these four rows here. Having one orange flower allows you to repeat your action for five time instead of six. And having two of the orange flowers lets you do that action at a discount of one resource of your choice. The yellow flower increases your hand size to five, which is nice because you just have more options to choose from when taking your turn. And having two yellow flowers allows you to either upgrade or downgrade the level of card that you're gaining from the market. And you do this at an exchange of one time. So, as an example, if I earn the right to gain a silver card instead, I could either gain a gold card paying one time since I'm uh upgrading it to gold, or I can gain a bronze card downgrading by one level, which would gain me a time.
Yeah. And you can do this over multiple levels. So, if I'm gaining a bronze, but instead I want a gold, then I can pay two time to do that.
So, that's interesting. And finally, we have the blue flowers. Having one of them allows you to spend two time instead of three to gain any one resource at the time of spending it. And having two of these blue flowers lets you spend one T in exchange for two time.
There you go. So I've now finished my action. I go on to step C, which is if I had six time, I could repeat this action. I only have three time, so definitely not going to be doing that. I have two cards left, so I'm going to draw up to my hand size of three. And that completes my turn.
All right. Are you going to keep your this discard here?
Uh, I can move it over. Oh, okay. So, I'll put my discard here as well. What do you think?
Yeah, why not?
So, I'm going to start by discarding this card. So, this is the red pawn, but I'm really just getting that benefit there, which is one time.
Yep.
So, now I have seven time, which is quite nice.
By the way, if you have 10 and you ever gained more time than 10, then you score one point.
Yes. So, it does max out at 10. Then, I'm going to play a card and I'm going to play the white knight. So, that's ignoring that benefit. I don't get any bonus unlike Naveen. But I now must move the white knight who I think I will move this way. Now, if you're not familiar with chess and he did not join us for the teach, the white knight moves in an L formation uh three squares away in any direction.
So, I'm going to go ahead and move there. Doing so gains me a resource of my choice. So, I'm going to gain a butter toast because
I'm going to need to spend butter toast since it's a white chest piece color. And then I get to take an action of my choice. I can choose any of the four boards, but I do have to pay a resource cost. So I'm going to pay the cherry cake. So I'm going to go ahead and choose the diamond Humpty Dumpty board. I started with a leg up here. I might as well continue because I can gain four influence by doing this if I if I'm able to complete the wall.
That's good.
So first I have to choose a space. Now the spaces available to me are these four. One, two, three, four. because they are the bottommost available spaces in their columns. I think I'm going to choose this one because I want to be able to complete this row. So, in order for me to place a piece there, I have to pay a butter toast and one tea. Now, I don't have the one tea, but I do have seven time.
Yes.
So, I'm going to spend one butter toast and I'm going to spend three time bringing this down to four to represent the tea.
Yep.
Now, I can choose any of my available diamonds here. Uh, which I think I'm going to choose this one. Yeah,
I'll gain the bonus, which is unlocking a black cube, specifically gaining me a cherry cake. So, now I have a fourth resource cube. And then I'm going to go ahead and place this on that spot, gaining me another one. Solid
because I also gained the bonus of the space. So, now I have two cherry cakes, uh, represented by these black resource cubes. Because it was the last space in the row of the Humpty Dumpty halfpiece, I score four influence points.
You do. So, I'm on I'm on the map.
You set that one up.
Set that one up. I did. And now Humpty Dumpty climbs the wall. And they're in the second row there. And that is it for my action. I cannot do it again because I only have four time left. So now I'm just going to rest. I have one card in my hand. I'll draw up two cards from my deck. And now it is back to you, Naveen.
Okay. So you changed the board state. I did.
That's for sure.
A little bit.
Okay. I will discard this card, which is going to gain me one time.
Okay.
Very simple. Um, so now I have four time. And then I am going to play this rook.
Okay,
so I'm gonna play the white rook. This gives me no bonus for actually playing it. Uh, and so I'm going to have to manipulate the rook that's on the board here. I'm going to slide them back row. So if you know the rook, it goes in uh straight lines. So I'm going to end up here.
Well, specifically horizontal or vertical. So in its row or column, but the rook can move as far
as far as possible
possible. It cannot hop over pieces though, so it has to be like
Yeah. So, if I was here, I would have to run into my pawn because this is on the same team. I can't do it. It's not my pawn, the white pond. Yeah. Okay.
Anyway, so I'm going to go here. Now, the unfortunate thing for me is uh the bonus or the the depicted resource I get is cherry cake.
I have all my cubes deployed right now, so I'm not going to be able to gain one.
But you can if you want to sacrifice a butter toast, you can always return it to your silver platter and gain the cherry cake.
Not going to do that because I am using a white piece right now. So, I won't be doing that.
Okay. Just just as long as you're aware that you can do it.
Yep. So, now I'm going to be taking the action on the spade board, which is this one over here.
Uh the white one moves the rabbit. So, I am going to spend uh two of my butter toast. So, that's exactly what it is here to move him twice.
So, one, two, and then I'm going to move them one. I'm going to go for the three points here. Why not?
Oh,
I feel bad. So, I I had a bifurcation here. I could have either gone here, which would move this up, or I could move here to get three points.
And again, it's one, two, or three spaces for one resource, two resources, or two of the basic resources and a T.
Yeah. So, if I wanted to move three spaces, it's two of the resource of the depicted type plus a T.
Has to be that way. So, okay. Uh, I'm going to get my three points.
And then the other benefit of also moving along these tracks is the ability to get more cards.
So, because uh I'm in the bronze section, I don't want to pay anything. I'm going to take this bishop here.
That's if I play them, I get two points. And if I discard them, I get one Butter Toast. This goes straight into my hand.
Very nice.
Uh that is going to be it for my turn. I don't have six time in order to take another action. So, I'm going to draw up to my hand size of three. And then let's bring this person back.
And those cards slide down.
Yes.
In the market.
Yes, you're right. I will do that now. There we Oh.
Oh. One, two, three.
We got two. Oh, three. Three rooks. And they're looking real conniving. Yeah.
And again, instead of gaining a new card, Naven could have called a card. So, it's one or the other. All right. So, then it is back to me. And first, I'm going to discard a card. I'm actually discarding my queen card. So, the queen lets you move either color, but I'm going to use it for its discard ability right now, which is the ability to call/invite. Y.
So, when calling um you must choose a card either from your hand or your discard pile, not from your draw deck.
Yes.
So, I'm going to call this white rook.
There's three of them out there. There are. That's why I don't want to have too many of them in my deck. And I think I'm planning on having two of them right now. So, I'm going to get rid of one that's in my hand, the basic one. And now, at the end of the game, this is going to score me a point.
So, I'm just going to tuck it under my board.
Yeah, no problem.
Just It might not be on screen. Just be aware that we have those underneath our boards. I now have to play the only card I have left, which is the red rook. So, again, there's no bonus for that, but I now must move the red rook, who I'm just going to move one space forward. Boom. Just like that. Um, and now I gain a T and I take a an action on the spade board. So I'm joining Naveen here. I think I'm going to move.
So red is Mad Hatter.
Matt. Yeah, red is Matt Madhatter. And I know that regardless of who I move, Naveen is just going to to pass me on this track. He's already, you know, he's already up on both characters. So Naveen definitely has a leg up here. But I'm going to do this for the bonus.
Okay.
I'm going to move up three spaces. So again, that's going to be two cherry cake because it's the red piece that I moved and a T. So I'm spending all my resources to do this. And I'm gonna go one, two, three. So I chose to go the right path. And this now gains me a card action twice because that is the bonus that's on the actual space. And because I'm in the bronze section, you always get to do that when taking an action here.
So the cards won't fill in. You'll you'll do one and another one. And so you'll have to pay something.
I have to pay something. So, since I don't have any resources, I'm just going to take the free one
and the middle one because the middle one costs one time.
The middle one costs one time
and I do have time to spend. That goes down to a three. So, these are both going to go into my hand. They're both white rooks,
but they give me different bonuses. And if I were to call them, they're worth two points. So, that's kind of nice.
All right, that's the end of my turn. I don't have the six uh time to spend. So, I'm going to draw one card and that card slides down.
Yeah, this one slides down. And we see some new ones. We got a pawn and another pawn. These are good pawns.
All right, that is it for me. So now it's back to you.
Well, seeing as you have now basically blocked this bishop from being able to do anything.
Yeah,
let's just go ahead and discard a bishop.
So, this one's going to get me one time. Uh, so I'll just put that there for right now.
Okay,
actually, I'll put it over here where it belongs.
And by the way, that's actually a good point. When a piece is blocked like this, you can still play it. You just won't be moving the piece. You would activate it in its current space. So you would, as an example, as Nabine were to play that bishop, he would gain a butter toast and he would take an action on the the hearts board. Y and you can always choose a piece that's blocked. So in the case of the pawns where there are four of them. If one of the pawns is blocked, but the other ones are available, you can choose the blocked pawn if that is the ideal action combination for you.
And if ever you take an action, but you can't actually resolve the action, then you would just gain two time and rest.
Yeah. Not good.
So not good.
All right. So I'm going to play the queen. Uh but I'm going to play it. So, it's it's split as to which one. Like Monnique said, I'm going to play it for its red side.
There's no bonus here, unfortunately.
And we are going to slide all the way over here.
If you're not familiar with chess, the queen can move in any direction as far as she wants. Uh horizontal, diagonal. Um you know,
the queen is the most powerful piece.
As far as possible, not hopping over. The only hopable piece is the knight.
They don't move like a knight. Yeah.
Okay. So, uh I'm going to end up here on the spade section. But before I do that, I'm going to get myself a butter toast because that is my benefit. Then I'm going to take the action on the uh spade board. And so I'm going to be moving the Mad Hatter.
Uh so I'm going to actually move them twice.
It requires cherry cake. Yes. For one movement. So one movement cherry cake. And then the second movement I'm going to pay three times.
Okay.
One, two, three. To represent the other cherry cake. I don't have I'm going to cross over here.
You were going to do it.
Yes. Crossing over here. I get six points. So, I'll take six points. You're
the first player to do that. So, you go up to nine
to nine. And then, uh, the benefit that I get here is two times. So, a little discount. I got a refund right there.
Then also, I can take a silver card. The card I'm going to take is this middle silver one, the knight. This one is going to cost me one time, unfortunately.
Uh, but this one basically whenever I play it or discard it, it gains me time.
Nice.
Yeah, there you go.
Very good.
All right. And I believe that's it. I do not have enough to take another action. So, I'm going to draw back up
and I'll slide this down.
Yep. And then the queen comes back.
All right.
There we go.
All right. So, now it goes back to me and I am going to start by discarding this card. So, the benefit is a T.
T.
So, I'm going to gain a T
and that goes in my discard pile. And then I am going to play the red bishop. So, this is the example that we mentioned earlier. The bishop is quite blocked. If you not familiar with chess movements, the bishop can only move diagonally as far as possible like the rook, but they're blocked right there. So, the bishop cannot move, which means I'm going to be activating the bishop where they're at right now, giving me a buttered toast.
Yeah. So, butter toast and heart
and a heart action. So, because the bishop is red, I have to unlock my red heart, which is going to cost me
cherry cake.
A cherry cake, which I don't have. So, I have to spend three res three times, sorry. all three of my time to purchase this heart. And that's going to get me a buttered toast. So, at least I have a lot of butter toast.
You got to take a white turn next.
Yes. Now, the red gardener is not in the garden yet. So, I think I'm going to move. Do you mind moving the red gardener here to this potted plant, please? Yeah,
this one.
Yeah. And if it's not clear, they have to go to their corresponding colored.
Yeah. You have red pots, white pots. Yeah,
exactly. And then I'm going to place my heart token there. So, I gain a pink flower.
Oh, you like the pink, Anna?
I think so. So now for the rest of the game when I take the wild action I don't have to pay that resource
just like me.
Yeah. Um I found myself wanting to take the wild action but not wanting to spend a resource.
Very finite.
Yeah. Resources are pretty finite. So I think this is going to be very helpful now having that wild flower.
Very good.
And that is it. I don't have any more time. I'm going to go ahead and rest. Draw these two cards. And that's it for me.
All right. Very very very good. Okay. I'm going to spend this card here. Unfortunately, the bishop, the one that had I played it got me two points, but I'm going to spend it or discard it for the butter toast.
Very nice.
So, I get myself a butter toast. There we go. And I will play the knight. Now, the knight here, this one, uh, is going to get me two uh, time. So, that's good. I go to five.
Uh, and then I am going to play it in that L shape. We're going to go, we're going to get our first capture. One, two, three.
Capture the pawn.
The pawn goes into the white jail. And for doing that, the pawn is the lowiest one. So I get one time.
Yeah, I mean time is is quite useful though. So
time is useful. And in addition to that, I also get the benefit that's here, which is going to be a cherry cake.
And you're taking the first action on the club board.
I am taking
I debated taking an action here multiple times. Yeah,
clearly neither of us have, but it is very useful because these bookmarks can be very beneficial.
So uh it's going to be the white one, which is tweed dump. Tweedle deep. I that I don't know. Um, but it's going to cost me uh
which direction are you going? You can go this way or this way. So, one butter toast to go here or three butter toast to move to the second height of the tree to gain those two.
So, I have two butter toast and if I want I can spend three time to represent the other one. So, I will do that. I'm I'm just going to speed it up a little bit. So, one, two, and then three times represent the third one that I don't have.
You're going this way
all the way up. Very good.
Now, you're going to gain these two books. So, it's the light one and the regular green.
Uh, yeah. Well, it's my choice between the regular green.
Oh, yeah. Sorry. Sorry. Yes. This is This is a split color. Which one would you like?
Um, so I'll take another light one.
This one?
Uh, yeah. And then I'm actually going to cash them in now. Let's just do it now.
So, again, optionally, you can purchase one bookmark.
So, you have the option. I think this
two light ones. Yeah.
So, it's they're all instant benefits. Which one would you like?
Probably the one that gets me more movement.
They all progress up the paw print tracks. Um, it's either one or two. Do you want red or white?
I'm going to go up the white track.
This one.
Yeah,
there we go. It's a one-off bonus. So, I'm going to go up this track. I'm the orange player. I'm going to go one, two, and by passing this, I get a time.
Yes.
That's kind of nice.
Yeah. That's it, right?
That's it. Yeah.
That's me there. Yeah. And I cannot retake the action. I only have four. So, I'm going to draw up my three cards. Back to you.
All right. Well, it's back to me. I'm going to discard my white pawn. Okay.
So, it's going to be for one time.
One time.
There you go. And then I'm going to play the white bishop.
Nice.
So I'm just gonna move the bishop
to the center. Nice.
Yeah. I gain a buttered toast and I can take an action of my choice for free because I have this pink flower.
Yeah. So normally if she didn't have the pink flower Yeah. she would have to pay some sort of resource to do this.
Right. So I'm going to visit Humpty Dumpty again, my friend. Um and I'm going to choose one of these spaces. I'm going to choose this space right here.
Yeah.
It's going to cost two butter toast and a tea. So, I have all these resources, so I might as well spend them.
Tea.
Two butter toast and a tea. And I'm going to unlock this tile here, which gains me a bronze card.
One of these.
And I think I'm going to spend that one time to take the middle one.
The middle one. Okay, perfect.
With like the
red pond call there. That's good.
This token is going to get placed here, which gains me a T and an unlocked black cube on the cherry cape.
I need to get those going
space. I have placed my brick in the same row as Humpty Dumpty. It's not the last space, but it's still in the same row. So, I gain two points. One, two.
And most importantly, I've unlocked my third diamond. So, that allows me to progress Alice up her coordination track, specifically the white track because it was the white action. So, she moves here, gaining me eight points.
So, now I go up to 14.
Yeah. Good.
All right. And that's it.
Yeah, that was good. So, I'm going to rest.
Okay.
Gain a card that slides down
there. And that's it for me.
Yeah. Oh, so you did the bishop here.
I did the bishop. Yeah.
There you go.
Go back to you.
Okay. So, that's Alice's very first advancement. She's leaning towards the white queen. So, if the game was to like end right now and she's ahead of the red, she'd be the white queen,
right?
All right. I also will discard my white pawn, myself one time. So, I'm at five.
And then I will play the king. Now, the king can be either red or white.
Okay. No bonus here, but I am going to take another victim.
So, king,
I wanted to capture the horse. Did you do that knowing that I took a red pawn?
I know you took a red pawn. And don't forget, I'm the one that set up the the knight to take the first one. So, then this one is going to go into the red prison.
Yeah.
So, there you go. And then you get everything uh from the the knight down. So, I'm going to get a cherry cake.
I'm going to get one time also.
Yep. Then I get another cherry cake because I'm here. So I'm loaded up on cherry cake which is good.
And you two you're going to take the clubs action again. Take the club for red.
This time for red.
So same options. One cherry cake or three cherry cake.
Three cherry cake which I happen to have. One, two, three.
Okay. And any number of players can share
the same space. So you're
Oh, you know what? I'm just going to do one.
Oh
yeah. I have a change of heart because I I'd like to have some of these resources back there.
Here you have to take these two
two light books.
Are you going to turn them in now or save them? Um,
some of them cost three books.
Yeah, I'm going to save them.
Save them. Okay. All right.
Okay. So, I'll just keep this over here. Um, I do have six.
You're going to do it again.
The problem is with doing it again is like I'd just be going back up this way a little bit.
No. Uh, because before you had you would go either here or here.
If you were to do it again, you would go here. So, you're going to the left.
I see. I see.
So, you would be the first player to go to either of these spaces, gaining you the books. Uh, I want to keep that time. Time is very valuable in this game. So, I I I want to do that, but I also want to keep the time. So, I will I will say no to that. Okay,
let's go ahead and draw two. And then eventually, I'm going to have to reshuffle my deck.
Yeah. And there's no penalty for that. Once you need to draw more cards, you just shuffle your deck and keep drawing.
So, it's going to be you. King stands up. Back to you.
All right. And by the way, one thing that we didn't mention is if the pawns get to the other end of the board, then there is a benefit to that.
Yes.
So, just like in chess fashion, they don't become a queen, but there is a benefit. All right, I'm gonna go ahead and discard this card.
Okay,
I need time.
Time.
I'm in dire need of time.
Time. Time. Time
truly. Then I'm going to play my rook. So, this allows me to take an action at a discount of one butter toast.
So, I'm just going to move the white rook all the way to the right over here.
You're going diamonds heavy.
So, I think I I mean, I'm so close. I might as well.
So, I'm going to get a cherry cake for that. And then I'm going to take an action here. Um, I'm going to I'm gonna place here.
Okay.
So, this is two butter toast, no tea. So,
well, no, it only cost you one. You have a discount of one. Yeah. Yeah. I kn I knew you were gonna forget.
Said it and then I forgot. Okay. So, I have a discount of one butter toast. So, just pay the one. Um, I'm going to unlock this one, which allows me to go one step up on the red paw print track. Guy me.
This is really going to be three cuz you're you're about to drop off here.
And then I'm going to drop this off here. So, I get two more advancements there.
And now you get a butter toast.
Get a butter toast. There you go. It's like it never happened.
Uh I also uh place the same level as Humpty. So one, two,
and that's it. I have some resources.
That was pretty good.
That is the end of my turn. So I'm going to rest. I have to draw my last card here. And then I'm going to shuffle up my deck. But you can go ahead.
Okay. I am going to discard uh the the white bishop for a time.
Okay.
So I get seven time now.
Very nice. Well, you have a lot of time.
I do. I'm going to play uh this one. I'm going to play the rook. There's no benefit here. Red rook.
Red rook. I'm just going to slide him to the right here uh into the star section. Now I get a T.
Okay.
And I do not have to pay this one penalty because I have a pink flower.
Very nice.
I collected that earlier on in the game. So uh I am going to take uh the action on the hearts board. I don't like where this gardener is. So I'm going to spend Tarder one space over which is basically what you can do here. Mhm.
And I am going to now spend one cherry cake.
Yep.
To take this heart off and put it onto this pink.
Ah.
So now I have the second one.
You'll have the second one.
So now anytime I take actions in this center column,
Yeah.
Uh I am going to get either one or two time depending on where exactly they end up.
Yeah. Oh, I really want that.
Yeah, it's pretty good for time. It's it's nice. And so the benefit I get here is um I get a butter toast also. Yeah. So, I'm I'm balancing here. Like, I should probably be pushing up one direction, kind of like what you're doing with the diamonds, but I'm going to try.
Yeah, it could be beneficial really to just go in sort of one direction, but you have to sort of try to make sure that Alice becomes that color queen
and you have to have the cards and then you have to move the pieces into the right spot so you can actually take those actions. That's the challenge. Uh, even though I have enough to um to take another action, I don't have enough resources, which would require me either two cake or two butter toast. I wouldn't have the the ability. would have to take the repeat action with the same color. Exactly. So, that has to be specifically cherry cake.
Sorry. It's just either e either way, I wouldn't have the ability no matter what. So, um that's going to be it for me. I have one card. I do have to shuffle this.
Okay.
And I get to see some fresh cards.
Nice. But you're done, right?
Yeah, that's me.
Okay. I'll go ahead and set this up for you.
Thank you.
All right. So, then it goes back to me. I'm going to discard this red pawn card that I had taken earlier to try to capture a piece. Didn't work for me. So, I'm going to gain the butter toast as my benefit. And then this is the last time I'm doing this, I swear. But I'm going to play the rook again.
Where you going? Go back and forth.
My friend the rook.
Where you going?
Uh I'm gonna go to the middle because you have to move the piece if you can.
You have to. Yeah.
So I'm going to go go to the wild.
Okay. So you get a cherry cake.
It's going to be at a discount of one T. It's going to be a waste, but that's fine. I get a cherry cake. Yes. For the row. And I I It's a wild. I'm going to do this again.
And I'll tell you why in a second.
Um I'm definitely going to take this spot so I can gain the four points. It's going to cost me two butter toast. That's why I needed to play that y
that pawn because I also don't have that much time.
Um, and I'm going to place my last one. This allows me to call two cards. So, I'm going to do that. Oh,
wait. Oh, no.
Call it.
I guess I'll just call these two.
Let them go.
Well, yeah. I'm just going to call these two.
Okay.
Let's just I I didn't It's unfortunate because I had to to reshuffle at that time. I didn't time it properly. Had I been smarter, I would have timed it better so that I had more cards to choose from. But at least those are worth a lot of points. So, I called two cards and then I'm going to place this here. And that gains me a T with a locked black cube.
Okay.
Boom. All right. I have filled the final uh space on the row.
So, I gain four points. So, I'm going to go to 20.
That's good for you.
Humpty Dumpty moves up. And now, this is why I wanted to do it. I've unlocked all five of those diamonds. I get a crown. So, this is going to be a white crown at the end of the game. We'll just count it up sort of at the very end. So, hopefully in my case, Alice, uh, the white Alice becomes queen
so they can score again at the end of the game. But the thing that's nice about this is I take a crown off the board and I place it in the next available empty space on the coronation path and I get times two
16 of that 16. That's the only time I can gain 16 because the next available space would be the seven because you can't place it on. So, you're at what? 36.
That's not good for me, huh?
Very nice. Um, and I think that's it. The other reason why I wanted to do that is because the next time Alice moves up on the white track, she skips over the spaces with a crown. So, she would go directly to this space. And this is going to be two points for each of those diamonds.
I have no diamonds going on there.
Pushing for that.
Gosh, you know, I noticed you never took your uh mini action when you unlocked your fourth one.
Oh, yeah. I forgot about that. So, for the white diamonds, you get a a heart mini action for the fourth. And for the other one, it's a spades mini action.
Do do I just do it?
Yeah, just go do it.
It doesn't really change anything, right?
So, the hearts mini action lets me choose one of these hearts and just remove it from your board. You gain the bonus, but you don't get to put the heart out. Y
So, since I missed it earlier, I'm just going to do the the white one since it's the cheaper one, just to be fair. So, I'll pluck this off and I'll get the cherry key.
I guess that makes sense cuz you have resources have moved. So, this game just gets removed from the board. Okay. All right. And that is it for me. So, I think I had moved the rook, right? Yep. So, sorry for that. Okay. So, I'll draw two cards and it goes back to you.
Okay. Okay. I'm going to discard this horse. Oh, they're in my prison.
Yeah.
Ah,
you want to break them out?
Break them out. No, I'm I'm just going to discard for three. So, I'll discard it for three times. So, I'm at 10. I have a lot of time. I should probably do something with that.
Uh, okay. And then I am going to break somebody else out, though. A pawn.
The red pawn. I'm so even though there's other pawns on the board, there is one in the white jail. So, I'm going to go ahead and break them out. Anytime you break somebody out, you get one time. So, one time is bank. I'm going to get one point cuz I'm at max 10.
Okay.
Uh I'm going to place them here.
So, the spawn So, this is the first time we're doing this. Anytime you break somebody out, there's a spawn zone, which is basically all the red highlighted. Yes.
And you can just plop them in there and you take the action and get the reward that's depicted there. Right.
So, I'm going to go ahead and put them here. So, I actually put them in the wrong spot. I want them here. That's what I want in the spade section. So, I'm going to gain a cherry cake.
Um, and then I'm going to take the spade action, which is going to be revisiting here. Let's go ahead and move.
Oh, do I stop here for five points?
Slow and steady. Yeah, let's do it.
I will I will. Yeah. Well, I can I can retake the action.
Oh, yeah. That's
So, I'm going to I'm going to play uh one cherry
to move the MadHatter here.
So, one space.
One space. I'm going to get five points. I need points. You go to 15.
You're getting all the points.
And you can take a silver card. Now you're in the silver threshold.
Or you could call. Don't forget that.
Uh since I have time right now, I'm going to spend one time. And I'll take this middle one. This middle queen right here.
Okay.
All right. And then uh I now that I do have the ability to spend time, I'm going to spend six to take another action. So now I'm going to do the same exact action again.
And I'm just going to move up with one cherry. I'm going to move up one space here. And I'm going to get myself uh two movements on this track. So, it's going to go one, two,
and gain myself another cherry, which is good for me.
And another card.
And another card. I don't want to spend anything. So, I am thinking about actually calling.
Oh, okay. You can take the king.
I could take the king is nice, but I'm going to call.
Okay.
I'm going to call the red pawn.
The red pawn is just going to get me one uh point at the end of the game.
Very nice. And it's a basic card, so now it's out of your deck.
They're going to my party at the end.
Okay. They've been invited.
They've been invited. So, that's me. I'm going to draw my third card. We have to refill the card row and then let's stand up this pawn.
All right,
there we are.
Very nice.
All right, it has taken us a lot to get to this point, but the beginning of the game is sort of where you set yourself up
and then as soon as crowns start getting taken off the board, the end game comes quickly. It is back to me and I am going to start by discarding my king card. So, this allows me to gain a bronze card.
Which one do you want?
And I think I'm going to take the bishop. So, I have to pay a resource. And
you have a lot of resources.
I'm gonna pay a T.
Okay.
Yeah. Just in case I need to do a lot with Or maybe I'll just pay a T. Four of them. I don't think I need that many.
So, I'll pay a T.
And then I'm going to play the bishop. So, the bishop's play benefit gains me two uh influence points. And then I'm going to move the white bishop uh all the way over here. So, diagonal all the way as far as you want to go. So, this is going to gain me a resource of my choice, which is going to be a butter toast. And then now I can take an action on the hearts board. So, I've been wanting to do this for a long time.
Okay.
I really want that second flower because I'm struggling gaining time.
Yeah.
So, first I'm going to pay to place the lowest white heart here. This is going to cost two butter toast. I only have one.
So, one thing that I mentioned earlier is that with these black cubes, you can relock them if you want to spend them for a while. like if you really need another resource, you don't have that specific resource. I can just put this back into the lock box. I had so many of them anyway. Yeah.
And represent that as any resource. So that's going to be a butter toast. And this is the second one.
And so I unlock this. This is going to gain me a silver card, which I think I'm going to spend one time to take the queen because the queen's play ability I think lets me lock lets me capture a white capture piece. So that's kind of cool. Um, now before I actually place out this heart piece, I do need to move the gardener. So, I'm going to spend at
to move the gardener to the left.
Okay. Uh, the white one, right?
I want a second pink flower.
The Oh, so you're going here and you're going there. Okay.
Yeah, please. Thank you. So, now I can get time by going into those center spaces.
All right, that is it. I really just wanted the ability to get that. Oh, and I don't actually draw any cards because I already have three in the hand. You
have three. Yeah.
Then that goes back to you.
Okay. That Well, that changes the board a little bit.
Okay. I will discard a single white pawn just for the one time.
Okay.
Okay. And then I am going to play a queen. Now, this one uh is pretty interesting. This is
uh I can play either the red or the white. So, it's going to be the red.
And basically what it says is uh depending on which queen you play, I can capture any other piece of the opposite color that's not the king or the queen.
Oh, okay. So, I'm going to capture the white bishop.
So, I'm going to take this white bishop. Capture them. They're going to go here.
Uh, and then by doing that, I'm going to gain Oh, no. They go here.
Oh, yeah. No, no, no. They go here. They go here.
Yeah. In the red.
In the red jail.
So, I'm going to gain one time.
Okay.
And then a cherry cake. Very nice.
Which is very important for me.
All right. So, now, where would you like to move the queen?
Yeah. So, then the queen is the red queen is just going to slide to the right right here. so
so I can have the right to do what I need to do.
Okay.
And uh I'm actually even though I was on the spade board, I could have moved up. I'm going to I'm going to So I get butter toast here. I already have I'm maxed out here. So I'm just not going to be able to get I need to get these black cubes going. And I have a way to get that right now. Okay.
So I'm not going to get the butter toast out there. But I am going to take the spade action which is going back to this board. And Mad Hatter is going to help me move. I'm going to spend two of my cherry cakes to go one
two here. So, uh, we just crossed this path here. I'm the first one to go past this, so I get four points.
Okay.
So, I go to 19. Uh, we're gonna move Alice up on the red track finally
for another eight.
Another tide.
19 to uh 27.
Yeah.
There we go. And then now that I'm here, I get one of my black cubes to become T.
Uhhuh.
And then now I have access to the gold cards.
The gold cards. Yes.
Yeah. I need to move up these paw tracks. So, I'm going to take this one right here. This is a pawn uh that basically it's it's pretty universal. It then you could move up if you discard it.
Okay.
Uh on the tracks. So that seems like
all right. So I'll take that. Uh I do not have enough to take another action. So rest. That's
right. I will slide these down. And then you moved. Who did you move?
Oh, the queen.
The queen.
Yeah. Sorry, I didn't layer. Who's down?
All right. So it's back to me. And I'm going to discard my white knight
for a time to time here. And then I'm going to play my basic bishop,
the red bishop, who is going to go all the way. So all the way down. There's no piece blocking here, right? Okay. All the way. Boom.
So I'm going to gain a resource of my choice, which is going to be a butter toast. Um I also gain two time now that I have the second pink flower. So I go up to four. Then I get to take the action of the diamond board, but for red this time. So I am going to I guess I'll go here. So that's a one T and one cherry cake, right?
Yes. One cherry cake, one tea. Exactly. So I'm going to go ahead and spend one cherry cake, one T. And I'm going to unlock this one.
Move up the white.
Yeah. Move up on the white. I need to get up here.
Get your
So that's one time. Especially if I'm going for these goals, I need to be able to score them.
You are doing that.
So one time, this is going to go here.
Yep.
And I'm going to gain a
butter toast
with an unlocked
piece. Okay.
Very good. And that's that. So, I'm going to go ahead and draw back up. And now it's back to you.
Okay. Very good. So, I will discard that new pawn card. I got this one right here. Uh, by discarding it, I get to go up on the paw track two spaces. And of
your choice, right?
Of my choice. Yeah. Because it's I'm not technically playing it towards a colored. Um, gosh, if I go up here, I'll be I'll be scoring that.
I'll get two.
H But then I want to get off the block here. I'm just going to go over here. One, two. I get two time. I know. No, I don't. Interesting. One, two. I think I I might have blew up.
Then I'm going to play the red bishop. Thank you for putting the red bishop into position.
Okay,
I get two points here. So, I'm going to get two points. Don't forget those. One, two.
Mhm.
Then check on this king right here. The red bishop's going to go and take out the king.
That's the thing. You're just going to catch
I know. I know. Sorry. Just capturing the king.
Don't confuse the people.
I know. Capturing the king. So then I collect all of this right here.
So I am going to get um one time. Mhm.
I'm going to get a cherry cake. Uh and then I get to go up one on the on this one right here.
Very nice.
Um Oh, you know what? Going back to this knowing that I was going to capture that king always. Yeah. Let let me go back to one two. I'll give back to two time. And I would rather go up here. One, two. Get the time.
Okay.
And then now I'm going to go ahead and get all the things here.
So, uh I am going to get my one paw on this one.
So, I get the two time. One, two, and then I get uh cherry cake. I already got it's I get the um I get the tea that's over here.
Oh, okay.
There we go. Perfect. So, I am going to because I'm in the star section, I'm going to I will do the diamond action. So, so the diamond action I am going to spend one of these uh cherry cakes
to place out over here.
Ah,
so that seems like
I wanted it.
It's four points if I do it. Yeah,
nice. So, I should probably move up. You know, I need more resources. I'm going to take this diamond off. So, that's going to get me I'm going to go here.
Okay.
Put that on top. I get the butter uh toast. And then because I've unlocked this now, I get a black cube.
Did you pay for it?
Um with the cherry cake. Yeah.
Yeah. The cherry. That's why that's why I don't have cherry cake. Yeah.
You pay cherry cake. You took this off
and you're gaining the
this one right.
Butter toast. Black cube.
Cube.
And you got a regular butter toast already.
I did. Yeah.
Okay.
So, we just finished out that row over there. So now Comty Dumpty moves up and you score four points.
Four points. So 33. There we go.
There you go.
We got a little comeback. Now I have enough time to take the action again. I just have no cherry cake. So I will not do it.
Okay,
we'll let it go.
Wow. So much time.
Time is of the essence.
All right, so now it's back to me. GH there's so many options. So I'm going to go and send you up in here.
Um I'm going to start by discarding this queen. So this queen allows me to call a card. So, let's go with I'm gonna go with this one.
Okay.
King.
King
because two points. Two points at the end of the game. I have a few that I've invited.
Yeah.
Uh and then I'm just like what Naveen did, I'm going to play my queen who allows me to capture. It's a red queen, so I have to capture a white piece that's not a king or a queen. Yes. Right. And so the best one right now is this rook. Yep.
So, we have all these pieces
captured. Got to free them.
We're not We're not freeing them. You can you can always free them. It's just you don't want to give the other person a time, I guess.
You're going to get a cherry cake and a
So, you have to go from bottom to top. I'm going to get a time
and then I'm going to gain a cherry cake. Boom.
Very good.
All right. So, now I must uh move the red queen, who I think I'm going to move to the diamond column so I can uh place a brick on Humsy Dumpty's wall as well. So, I think I'm gonna place on this space here so I can start progressing up the white paw track paw paw print track as well.
So, it's two cherry cakes.
So, boom. There you go.
And then I'm going to unlock this one,
which gets me a butter. So, I have all of my black cubes. There's no reward for that. Oh, wait.
Yeah,
that's that is the benefit of this. So, I won't do that one. Um,
call double call. No, I don't I don't want to double call. I'm gonna take time.
Okay,
so two times.
Oh, that's good.
And that's good.
I gained the the buttered toast, but it's going to be for this space,
right? Okay.
So, because this is a black cube unlock butter toast and a tea. So, there you go.
Makes sense. Okay.
All right. Now, I am in the same row as DD. So, I gain two points for you. One, two.
And that's it. I don't think I want to do it again right now.
No.
No. No. Definitely not. All right. So, I'm going to end my turn there. Um, I'm gonna draw two cards. And that is me. I had moved the queen, right? Yep. And that's back to you.
Okay. I will play this card as a discard. And that lets me go up the red paw.
Okay.
By one, which gets me a butter toast, which I think I will
pop it over here. So, so I'm basically converting this tea into that. That's You have the right to do that.
Yes.
Uh, then, uh, we're going to bust somebody out of jail. The bishop.
The bishop. Oh, yeah.
Bishop's coming out of jail. So, I'm I'm doing that. So that gets me the last time 10 time.
Yeah.
Uh and then now I
removing it from your jail.
Exactly. And now I have to put it in one of the spawn points anywhere within this zone here.
Uh so much butter toast. But I'm going to Well,
well well I will put it here.
Okay.
And then um
so this is the bishop, right?
Yeah.
So you get
uh time
time one time, which is a point for me. Boom. Cuz I'm at 10.
Cuz you're already at 10.
And you get a butter toast, which I have enough of. And you're gonna do the diamond, the Humpty Dumpty.
Yeah, I'm gonna do the diamond Humpty Dumpty. So
white, right?
White. So it's only that one.
No, no, no. You have one, two, one, two, three, four. The topmost spot here is eight points. So if you want to just take that, you can.
Uh, okay.
It's basically the the amount of a crown.
So I not a crown, an advancement.
I'll take this one right here for the three time because it's going to be worth three points because I'm at 10 time.
Yeah.
So I will take that one. So it's one tea.
Uhhuh.
And two
two butter toast.
Butter toast. There you go. So then now um I put out a diamond on that. Let's get more resources. Here we go. So this this one will go out.
So that gets me a cherry cake from your black cube.
There we go.
And then you're going to go here.
Yeah. And that's three time. I'm at 10. So it's three points. One, two, three.
Oh, nice.
Okay. And
you're going to do it again.
I should probably do it again.
So they are going to be Oh, actually, sorry. You also score four. Four points because that was the only spot
right
in Humpty Dumpty's row. So I've completed all these, but I gave you some easy spots.
You did. So four. So now I'm a 41.
Wow, look at you.
Okay,
so you could, but it's going to cost three or four butter toast.
And I have two butter toast.
Yeah,
that gets me a gold card.
This is gold card. This is three progress of the red paw print.
Okay, so do I have enough? Okay, if I was to take this action again, it would take me from 10 down to four.
I would have one, two, three, four, three of the progress.
All right, I'll do it. Let's just do it.
So you're going to do an extraction?
I'm going to do an extra action.
The first time we're doing this?
No, I think I've done it once before. Okay. Okay.
So, 10 down to four.
Okay.
Then, uh I'm going to do the spot
the three pops.
How much does that cost me? Cuz I have
three butter toast and a tea.
Oh, and a tea.
Yeah,
that's not good.
Oh, I did I maybe I didn't tell you that.
Yeah, the tea. I I didn't recognize the tea was there.
Tea is very important.
Where I'm sitting, the Humpty Dumpty is perfectly blocking it.
Two colors.
Yeah, that's right. I should know that. I will take it back.
Okay.
I will not do that.
All right.
Yeah, the gold card would be nice. It'd be worth two points, but I'll let it go.
All right. So, that's the end of your turn.
That's the end of my turn. So, I draw two. It's back to you now.
Okay. And then it's back to me. All right. I am going to start by discarding this red pawn for a time. And then I'm going to play a white pawn. So, I'm going to move this white pawn forward one space.
That's going to gain me a resource. I'm going to choose a buttered toast.
I'm also going to gain two time. Okay.
Because of my two flowers. So, I go one and I get a point for the additional one.
Tie it at 41. And then I'm going to take the heart action. Okay.
And I am going to put out this heart which is going to advance Queen Alice. But let's do this in order. So two butter toast for this heart. So there's that.
Okay.
And this is going to advance Queen Ellis. So she is going to advance here.
Um I'm going to get the eight points.
That's good
for that space. Can I have eight points, please?
That's really good. Uh so you have 49. And then at the end of my turn, we're going to score this first wish. One, two. I only got two. Be quite nice. So, this I'm gonna place out.
Are you moving the white?
Uh, let's see what I don't have. Oh, that's all five cards in my hand.
I don't have a T though, so I could move it.
Five cards in hand is nice when especially when you have a bunch of call opportunities cuz then you can see just more cards that you can potentially call cards that are kind of not useful for you that will just score points.
Score a lot of points. That is true. Yeah. I'm not going to spend any tea. Okay, I'm going to leave the gardener where he is and I'm going to place this on the yellow flower.
Yellow flower.
So now I have a hand size of five. So I'm going to just have a bunch of cards in my hand to choose from.
Um, and now I'm actually going to do it again because I have 10 time. So I will bring this down to four.
I have to spend two butter toast for the next one here.
And this is going to gain me a spades mini action, which is
this action.
So that will allow me to just move up one of my tokens one space. And it can be either color. Mhm.
So, if you move up from here to here, you get two time and three points.
Oh,
yeah. It's nice. Or you get get the cherry uh cake.
I'll move up my MadHatter.
Madhatter
because I gain three points.
Three points. I got you three
crossing milestone.
Two times,
which you just spent six
and then I get a card. I get a silver card.
Yeah, this one's nice. Every time you play it, it's four points.
And it's either a bishop. Let's do it. You've convinced me.
That's pretty good.
I have to spend a time. Either when you play it, you get four or when you discard it, you get T and two.
Yeah, it's nice.
That's pretty good.
Yeah. So, I spent the time already for it. Yeah.
Yeah.
Um, so that doesn't go yet. That's at the end at the end of my turn.
You still have more.
I have to actually place out the
the token cuz that was just the mini action. So, now I'm going to place this out and I'm going to leave it. I'm going to place it in the last space.
Oh, here.
There. Yeah. So, that's two advancements on red,
which gets you two back.
So, I get two time.
You playing that time game right there. That was pretty good.
All right. Sweet.
So, that is the end of my turn. So, now I'm going to draw up I have two cards in my hand. So, I'm going to draw three. So, it's the last three. Um, now that my hand size is five, we're going to slide that down. Can you refill that, please?
And then for the first time in the game, we are going to score one of Alice's wishes because we have reached that point on the track. Now, even though I'm the one who moved the token, we all score for that criteria. Yes.
So, this token here is two points for each diamond you've put out.
So, I have one, two, three, four, five, six, seven. So, it's going to be 14 points. That's
so uh
66
66 and I only have one two so four points. Yikes. Yikes. Yikes. Yikes. Yikes.
So 45. Okay.
Oh boy.
That's it.
That was good.
That is the end of my turn. And now it goes to you.
All right. Very good. Okay. I will discard this card for basically a point because I'm already at 10 time.
Okay.
So one point. Got to get it the sneaky way.
Then I will play a red bishop. Uh-huh.
Now, this red bishop is going to allow me to move and I'm going to capture this pawn going this way.
Ah, nice.
Capturing this pawn. I get a time, which is a point
for you.
Uh, then I get a time, which is a point.
Wow.
Because I have that flower.
Yeah.
And then I get a butter toast.
Uhhuh.
Which I'll take.
And you're going to do the spades board.
Spades board.
This one here.
So, if I just go one notch, I get three time.
Yeah.
So, I think I should do that. So, I will just
Oh, wait. Sorry. I'm so sorry. Before you proceed,
I got the eight points for this, right?
I believe so.
A crown gets removed.
Oh yeah.
So that is something that you can't forget.
Oh yeah.
Okay. Go ahead.
Okay. So then uh I will do one space. Cherry cake. We're going to go like this. I get three points because I have max time.
Okay.
So we're going to go one, two, three. And then I can pick up a gold card. I'll just take this one right here. I'll take it.
Yep. And then I'm going to take another action. I'm just going to keep going. So I'm going to spend this six. Okay.
Uh, and then I'm going to spend three.
Uhhuh.
One, two, three to represent the one cherry cake that I don't have. So, there he goes. And then I'm going to go here.
Okay.
So, I get to take a diamond action or I get to uh take one of these diamond mini actions.
Okay.
And seeing as I'm one away from being on this board right here to actually score. There's one of those there. So, I'm going to take this diamond off and I'm just going to
get myself into scoring position there.
Nice.
So, that diamond's off. And then now I I can finish this turn by getting another card here in the gold section. Or I can callull. I'm going to call the queen.
Six points with six points at the end. So I might as well I don't know when I'm going to get it back. So might as well just get the points cuz if you do not call it, you do not get the points in that top right corner.
That's true.
Okay. And that will wrap up my turn. Uh so I moved the bishop and I just draw back up to three.
All right. So then it goes back to me. I'm going to discard this rook. Okay.
For a cherry cake.
Maybe forward planning. Who knows? Sure.
And I'm going to play the bishop card that I just picked up. So, this gains me four points. You're right. That is nice.
Yeah, it's pretty good.
Really good.
Since you're there, we should probably slide down the cards.
70. Oh, yeah. Nice. Good catch. All right. So, I played that and I'm going to I can move either bishop and I'm going to go with the white bishop.
So, let's just finish this out. I'm going to move all the way here.
Finish this out.
I get another cherry cake.
What is going on?
Um and then I'm going to take a wild action for free because I have that um pink flower. And I'm going to just go back to
the hearts.
The garden board.
Yeah,
another crown.
The last one. And this is going to be really expensive, but I think time is of the essence. So, I don't have any butter toast. I have to pay three butter toast to do this.
Wilds.
So, I'm going to spend six.
Oh, do I want to spend time or do I just want to spend these?
I'll spend two of them.
Okay.
Two of these back to the lock box. And then I'm going to spend three time. So, go down to four.
Okay.
All right. So, that's this. This is going to gain me a crown.
You have to spend a T.
I have to spend a Oh, yes. Yeah, I will spend a T. I'll spend a T. But let me get this first.
So, I gain a crown. This is going to go here. So, it's 14 points because it's seven. This is seven. It's really tiny probably. So, these are eight. This is seven. And then it goes down to six here. So, 7* 2 is 14.
So, I go to 84.
Yeah.
And then I do have the spend tea like Debine said because the where the gardener's at, it's full.
It's full. Yeah.
So,
did you want the ability to do the the souped up yellow? Or this one's nice. You can call two cards and go up on the red.
Let's do that.
Yeah,
that's really cute.
I like I like the ability to do that.
Yeah.
So, you have to move the gardener.
Oh, yeah.
So, I moved the I spent the T.
Yeah. So, now you're here.
Okay, perfect. Um,
you can call two cards.
Yeah, let's do that. Get some points.
I can call Oh, I can call from my hand if I want to. I'm just going to call this queen. Two points, but I just don't I think the other queen that I have is probably better to actually play.
Okay.
All right. I believe that's it. So, I've maxed out on all of these hearts. I don't have enough. I can't even take the action again anyway because I already put out all these hearts. So, that's the end of my turn.
All right. Very good.
Uh, I'm going to shuffle my deck and draw two cards. So, you can go ahead and take your turn if you like. So, we're getting towards the end here. Very close
because there are only three crowns left and that can be that can be swooped up pretty quickly, especially if players are getting towards the end of their tracks or if you're getting to a place where you can move Alice's token.
So, you just have to be careful because the end game can come pretty quickly. back to you.
Okay. I will discard this card for a black uh cherry right there.
Okay.
And then I will play this king card, but I will be the white. So, I'm going to break them out of jail. My own.
You get a time.
So, I get a time
and then I'm just going to plop them over here.
All right.
Boom. So, I'll I'll do this right here. So, I'm going to get a T.
Okay.
And then now I'm going to take it in the um
the spades action here. So, this goes here.
And let's take the spades action. So I am going to move them one, two,
the powder. I'm sorry, the marsh.
Yeah, the hair. So it's going to be uh two of the butter toast
and one of the tea that I just acquired to go one, two, three. So I'm the first one to cross. That's six. And then I get to this spot, which is five. So it's 11 points.
11 points.
So uh was that 62? Yeah.
And you get a silver card or would you like to call?
Silver card or call? I will call this six point card.
Nice.
There we go.
That's That's what you want to do.
I'm gonna have to do that. Yeah, because if you're saying the game is almost over, I'm in trouble. So, there we go. Okay. And then, uh, I do not have enough to take more action, so I'm going to draw back up to three.
All right.
Okay. There you go.
Back to me.
Yep.
All right. I'm going to go ahead and discard the red knight. So, I gain a time and then I'm going to play the red rook. Okay.
So, the rook can go as far as they'd like in one direction. So, I'm going to go and
taking out the bishop.
Take out the bishop. I'm going to set up the king.
Oh, yeah.
So, I'm taking out the bishop. I'm capturing the bishop. So, I gain a time and I gain a cherry cake. All right. So, here I gain another cherry cake.
Yeah.
Too many. Too much cake.
Too many a cake.
And now I can do whatever action I'd like. So, I think I'm going to go and take an action on the spade board. Okay.
So, I'm going to spend one cherry cake
to get to
to go up one to get to the five points. Yeah, that makes sense. Yeah.
Yeah, that's a five point. If you can't, it's really tiny. Five points.
So, to 89. And I get a card.
Card of your choice.
Or I can call one. Let's just take the free. It's silver, right? Let's just take this free.
Okay. If you eventually call it, it's worth five points.
Okay. And then I'm going to spend my sixth time to do it again. And I'm just going to spend one cherry cake to go up one more.
That's pretty good. And then you're here. And you get more cherry cake. So, I get a cherry cake and I get one more card. Oh, I don't want to.
Well, you don't have time. You can't do it. You cannot take the middle one. You have zero time.
I could take the right one, though. So, let's do it. I'm going to take that right one. I'm going to spend a cherry cake to do it. I have all this cherry cake anyway. All right.
That's Yeah.
All right. So, let's slide these down.
I have one, two, three, four. I have five cards in my hand already. So, it's back to you.
Oh, boy. I'll call with this queen card right here. So, this queen is going to allow me to call a card.
Okay.
And let's just find something here. No, not that one. I'm gonna do this one. The one I just acquired. It's going to be worth two points at the end of the game. I don't know if it's any good, but they're a good conver they're a good conversationalist at dinner, you know. So, got to have a man there at the party. Now, I could take the queen out. The problem is I don't really care for the hard action.
Oh,
you know.
Yeah. I mean, oh, that's how you get more paw prints.
Yeah, that's how you get more paw prints. You take the the heavy hitters out.
Yeah.
Yeah. I don't like it. So, I'm going to do this one right here. I'm going to move the bishop um not the bishop, the um rook. Yeah. So, we'll just bring the rook into this spot here.
Okay.
No, here. There we go. Here.
All right.
So, that's going to get me one time.
Uhhuh.
And then it's going to get me one cherry cake.
Uhhuh.
So that I can take spades action.
Wait, so it's a wild Oh, you're choosing a spades.
Yeah, of course. Yeah.
Because if I do two cherry cakes, I can go one, two into the crown and I get three white paws.
So, it's going to be one, two, three. I passed over two T's.
Yep.
T and T.
Yes, you did.
There we go. And then now I've reached the end here. So that means I get a crown.
You get a crown.
First crown. Crown. So it's in the red because the Mad Hatter is part of the red.
It's going to go over here. So it's 2 * 8 for 16.
So what do we got here? 68. 78.
78.
Yeah.
Okay.
Okay.
So two crowns left.
Two crowns left. Yeah. And then now uh Alice, if she advances, she'll still
Yeah. should go directly there.
So skip over. And I believe that is it for me. I cannot take another action. So I have to shuffle my deck.
Well, we are now truly near the end of the game because there are only two crowns left
and those two can get uh picked up really quickly.
They will be.
So again, as soon as the last crown is taken from the board, then you finish out the round. So players have had an equal number of turns and then we'll go into final scoring of figuring out who Queen Ellis is. Who is her? That's the end of the game.
Yeah. So now it's back to me and I'm going to play this queen, the red queen
uh to discard. Sorry, the the discard ability one time and one call. So I'm going to gain a time. I'm going to call probably one of the two kings.
Yeah, they're worth five six points, I think.
Yeah, let's go with this one.
Okay,
it's worth five points at the end. So just going to go ahead and tuck him in right there. You've been invited, red king. All right, and then I'm going to play the white bishop. So, the white bishop is in my jail.
So, I'm breaking him out of jail. I get a time for for doing so. And I'm going to place the bishop here. So, I gain one time, one buttered toast, and I'm going to take an action
on the club's board. Yes.
So, I think I'm going to try to go up this way.
Okay.
So, it does it's going to cost me three.
So, you have two wild technically right here.
Yeah, I have two wild. I also have three times.
So, you can do one wild. So I can do Yeah, I can spend one, spend three time, and then
two, three. Yep.
Yeah. Two, three. Now, you can't you cannot spend the butter toast and then spend it again. So you can only spend
a single black cube once per action, basically.
So all right, I spent all three so that I can move my Tweedle Dum this way.
Yeah.
And I I get those two.
So you get either two lights or one light, one door.
I wonder if I just want to Oh,
this Yeah, they're pretty good. the two pops.
So, two white turning it in immediately for the book.
So, you get uh
the bookmark. The book. Yeah. Bookmark.
Uh you get two time.
I'm just going to place it here.
Yeah.
Two time.
Two time.
One, two.
Okay.
Very good.
That is your turn. That's my turn. So, I'm going to draw one, two, three.
I'm ready for my turn.
Okay. Go for it.
I'm going to discard this pawn. So, it's one time.
Okay.
That goes there. Then, I'm going to use the horsey. I haven't I haven't moved this guy in a long time. So, it is the knight.
Okay. red knight. So, we're going to put that there. The red knight is here. So, it's going to go up one, two. Boom. Like that. Then I get two time. One, two.
And then I get a resource of my choice. And I'm going to take uh cherry cake.
Cherry cake
for sure.
Okay.
And now that I'm in the diamond section, I need if if I want to move Alice, I need to do something here. So So I need to spend three time.
Okay.
Yeah. You know what? I'm not going to spend three time. I am going to just um instead of spending three time I'm going to spend one of these as a wild cherry.
Okay.
Plus the cherry that I have here. Boom. Boom. Like that. And that's going to represent the two paw that I need over here. So
So I'm going to clear off
a lot of that.
I'm going to clear off uh two time right here. So I'm going to gain two time.
Okay.
And I'm going to put it on the double paw.
Okay.
So you spent the two cherry cake.
I did. Yeah. So then the double paw means I need to go up one, two. That gets me
three times.
So, it's gonna be one, two, and then a point.
I get two comboing.
Comboing. And then because I'm in the same space as Humpty Dumpty, I get two points.
Two points.
One, two. And then the question is, do I want to do it again?
Yes. Good question.
Oh, so before I do that, um, one, two, three. Alice is, uh, is
Oh, Alice Bis.
Yeah. Oh, so we're going to Oh, I got it right there. Right in.
You did. I I didn't want you to do that.
So, Alice is going to advance and you get eight points.
Eight points. Yeah, eight points is nice, though.
So, you go to 89. Uhoh.
Yeah, we're there.
We're tied.
Oh, we're tied. Cool.
Okay, that's good. So, I think I'm going to take this action again.
Okay,
I'm going to do it again. So, I'm going to spend this.
Uhhuh.
And then we are going to do I'm going to spend Do I spend my cubes?
Okay, I'll spend one cube.
What action is it? This one?
Yeah.
So, two cherry cakes.
Two cherry cakes. So, I'm going to do one, two, three for one cherry cake and then this will be represent the wild
kicking out the cherry cake.
Very nice. And then which one are you doing?
I'm going to do Oh gosh, do I want to call
two cards or gain a bronze card?
This game is almost over. I'm going to call these two cards.
Oh, okay.
So, I'm going to take this off.
All right.
So, this is going to go there.
Those two have been invited.
You get a black cube on a T.
Yeah, I have too much tea right now. So, black cube on T.
And then you score four points because four points.
That was the last.
So, what do we got? Uh 93. Then because it's the fourth one off of here,
I get to do a spade action. Now, this one's already at the end. So, that means I this uh
the hair is going to move over like that.
So, you go up on the red pop print twice.
One, two, which gets me two time.
Two time. Wow, look at two combo.
I know.
And you get a silver card.
My gosh, I don't want to spend anything. I want to be a cheapy.
There we are. That's it. That's I think that's my turn. I think I did everything correctly. And we have to remember that we have to score this. So, then I'm going to draw my card. We're going to do this and then now let's score that.
Yes, we're going to score Alice's wish. Yeah. Right.
Unfortunately, you got in there.
There's three points for each level of advancement on both your Tweedle D and Tweedle Dum.
We're both just on level two.
Yeah.
So, that's There's a little tiny number.
I was I was hoping to get the extra six on you, but we're both going to get six points.
We're both get six indicates
and then you're at uh 95.
Yeah. All right. So, now that's done. It is back to me. I am going to discard this king. the king.
So, I gain one time and a bronze card just like you. I also don't want to pay anything at this point in time.
So, I'll take that.
And honestly, I'm going to play a card that is very similar to one I just took. It is the white rook. I'm going to be able to take an action at a discount of one.
You get to break him out of jail.
Uh, butter toast. And I get to break him out of jail, which is going to gain me a time. So, I'm going to spawn the rook here.
Nice.
So, I gain a butter toast. I gain a time for the row and then I get to take a wild action of my choice. I'm going back to the clubs.
So I'm going to move. It has to be my my white piece here. So Tweedle Dumb. Um and I'm going to spend three. I have to spend three butter toast. It's going to be either going this way or this way. Now I get to take this action at a discount of one butter toast. So it's just two. I'm going to spend one butter toast and then I'm going to spend three time. So down to two. Now, the direction in which I choose to go will determine what bookmark I want to get. I really don't think I think it's too late in the game to get this once per like if you get high enough early in the game. This is a tougher board to go up on because it requires so many resources. But these bookmarks can be really powerful
because you can take some of these powers like once per turn. Like is this
they pay off.
This is like when you take an action in the spades board, it's one T. This
it's an investment for sure. Yeah, these are an an investment. So, I'm going to avoid those and I think I'm going to go and see what I can get in terms of endame scoring. So, as an example, if I were to take this bookmark, this needs the white book and the blue book. And at the end of the game, I'll score two points for each advancement on the red pop track. And I think I'm up like
that's really good.
What is that? One, two, three, four, six spaces already.
And some of the other books are like certain amount of points for each card you've called, you know, up to 10. Stuff like that. I think I'm just going to take this one. I know it's not as high as the red one, but I'm hoping that I can get it higher.
You just like it.
That might be really foolish, honestly.
But in order for me to to take this, I have to go to the right. Okay.
Because it gains me if I'm since I'm the first one here, I take the white
uh book,
the light one,
and then I get either a green or a blue, which is going to be a blue,
and I'm going to turn in right now for that optional
bookmark purchase. So now I have this to score at the end of the game.
Very good.
All right. In addition, because I've crossed over into the height of three, Alice is going to move.
She is
uh the white queen Alice is going to progress up because there's a crown here. We skip over that space. I'm going to score the seven points for that.
You will.
So that's 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 102
100.
Um and then at the end of this round, we're going to score that. So this crown gets removed. The next crown to be taken will end the game. Oh my gosh.
All right. Um Oh, was this here?
Mhm.
When we scored this.
Oh, it's been there like for rounds, man.
Oh, this counts.
Oh, it's a it's an additional three points.
So, one, two, three. So, we're still tied. No.
Very good. Very good. You got some endgame stuff, though.
Okay.
Very good.
That's the end of my turn. So, let's go ahead and refill that. I'm going to draw one card into my hand.
Okay.
And
now we are going to score our third Alice's Wish. Probably the last one.
Yeah. Game.
Yeah. Yeah, this will be it.
Yeah. Right. So, this one, this one scores you two points for each uh heart that was removed. So, I have 1 2 3 4 5 six. So, 12 points.
12 points.
So, 12 13 14. I
only have two removed. So, that's a four. I started off the game with that.
So, four.
Yeah.
So, go to six. Okay. Still still close.
Still there.
All right. That is me, Nive. Back to you.
Okay. So, I will discard the bishop for one time.
Okay.
So, I get myself one time. Then I am going to play this king as the red king.
Oh,
and so this basically means I can whenever I move with the king, I can basically take any action as if it's a star. I already have kind of that benefit. But if I was to move like here,
then I could still say star, you know, whatever.
Right. Right. So regardless of where Navian actually moves the king piece, he can take any action.
Exactly. Uh and then I can also discard an extra card as long as it's not a gold card.
Okay.
Yeah. For it discard ability. So, let me just discard this one for another time.
Okay, very nice.
So, we got a time and then uh I'm just going to move and I think I'm just going to move to the right here. Boom. Just like that. So, I get another time, which is good.
I get a cherry cake, which is important to me.
And then now I'm taking the diamond action.
But really, whatever action you want.
Yeah, exactly. Well, I I if I do this, then I can get the last crown on the red.
I'll end it technically.
Oh, no.
But I I don't think I'm winning. Like but
if you end it, I still get one more turn, right? Because you started the game.
Yeah. But I'm afraid that you're going to get the crown. So I got to do it now.
Okay.
So I am going to do uh the diamond here. So this is going to require one, two. So okay, this this one requires
two cake. So it's one cake and then one, two, three. That's the two cake.
Okay.
And then one T. One T will be this one.
So then now I get um
which one are you?
This diamond right here.
Okay. Yeah.
So you get a a bronze.
I get a bronze. So, I'll just take any bronze into my hand.
Okay.
And then I
And where does this go? Where
the only one right here?
Oh, this one. Yeah. So, you get three times.
I get the time back.
And you get four points.
Four points.
Cuz you have uh Yeah, you completed the row.
Yeah.
So, did you score your four points?
Uh, no. I'd like to repeat it after me.
Four. But I'm just on autopilot now.
Autopilot.
Yeah. Uh, I believe that now makes it a crown.
That is That is crown. Final crown.
This crown goes here. That means
for 14 points.
14 points. So, uh, plus 24.
Oo,
we're moving.
But that's it, right?
Yeah. Unfortunately, I have all these resources and I can't take an extra action because I've diamonded out. Dang it.
Well, if that's the end of your turn, then that actually signals the end of the game. End
the game.
Because Naveen has taken the final crown, which means I get one final turn.
Not good.
And that actually puts me in an interesting position because I want to take this spot.
But
because it'll put me up three spaces. one, two, three on the paw print track, which helps with my bookmark here and allows me to unlock being able to score one of these two tiles at the end of the game. However, I have invested heavily in white.
I have two white crowns.
Ah,
and right now Alice is going to be the white queen.
She is.
If I were to place that brick there, that would progress Alice up.
Oh, it would.
And then they would be tied.
That would score. Bad for you.
That would score all of the crowns. I want to I want that those points for me. You know what I mean?
Yeah. Yeah. So, you're not gonna do that.
Especially in a two-player game.
Maybe you can get up uh via this way.
Maybe if you want to move up on the white paw print, you have to move up on red.
Red. It's there. Everything's inverted.
Everything's inverted. Yes. So, do is there even another?
Yeah. You can't really There's one.
There's one single.
I can I really just need one. That means I should have taken the other one.
Let's do that.
I was foolish in the end. One, two, three, four, five, six. It's the same. One, two, three, four, five. Oh, it's the same. It's the same. Okay, which means I am just going to I'm going to discard this for one time. It really doesn't matter at this point, I think. Formality.
And then I'm going to play the bishop that gets me the four points.
Four points.
So, I go up to 118 and I have to move the red bishop. Now, there's probably another way I could have done this, but I'm just going to This is the way I found right now. So, I have to move the red bishop to the club. So, it's going down this way.
I'm going to gain a resource. So, just make it um another cherry cake. And I gain two times. One, two. And I'm going to take an action here. So, I'm just going to spend three cherry cakes to move this way.
Oh, very nice.
So, that I can purchase this because there's no other white, right? Yeah. I purchase this
with with the tiles that
two tiles that I would have claimed from that.
So, instead of grabbing them and turning them in, she just said she has it.
Yeah.
There you go.
One paw print. Boom. So now I have
one.
I have Oh yeah, I can score one of them. It's not amazing, but
alas, that is it. That's the end of my turn. Let's just do this for formality. Um really no other point because none of these cards are going to get scored. Everything is at the uh underneath your board, right?
Which is who got invited. So there you go. That is the end of the game. So now we're going to go into final scoring starting with Alice's coronation. So first things first, we must see who Alice becomes. Does Alice become the red queen or the white queen? Because Alice is further up on the white queen track.
White queen is who Alice becomes.
I need her to be the red.
Now, ideally, you would want her to get to the very end there because you can score points that way. And if ever you need to place out more crowns and there are no spaces, you still score points for them. Same thing with if Alice needed to keep progressing up the track when she's already made it to the very top, you still score points for her. Since Alice has become the white queen, we are going to flip over her wishes to the platinum side.
The higher scoring side here.
You dominated those things.
And now,
dang it.
All players score eight additional points basically for each of their crowns in white.
So, in the case of a tie, if you know they were at the exact same spots on their tracks, then we would be able to score eight points for all of our crowns. But since that is not the case here, just the white crowns. So, I have two crowns. Yeah, I have both my crowns on
this one and this one.
Both of my crowns are in red. So, it's this one and getting on this track here. So, I do not have a white crown.
So, that's in a two swing.
That's not good.
So, I get to score 16.
Yeah.
For mine. So, I go to what? 34.
34.
Okay. So, 134. Then we're going to score our cat's paw print progress track. So, basically, you're going to see how far up the track you've gone. If you've reached at least the times one threshold, then you get to choose one of these two, which is to score again. If you reached the times two, you get to score them both. So, starting with here, I can score one of them.
So, it's going to be the tweedle you.
It's definitely going to be this.
So, three points uh for the heights. Oh, I have both of them on here. That's why.
So, three, four, five times three, 15.
15. Yeah.
Okay. So, 49.
149.
149.
Yeah. Big bummer on my part. I wasn't able to etch this out um because then I I was at the end of this track plus this that would have been 12 13 14 15 16 17 eight that would have been 18 points.
Yeah.
Couldn't get there.
Cuz it's really a bummer because I had these two and I never got to spend them.
You never purchased them.
I never got to purchase back there.
I never went back there. Yeah, exactly.
Yeah. It's kind of like high at risk, high reward kind of thing.
It was there too. Like there's the book that gives me two bumps on the red. That's really bad.
Well, at least you get to score both on this track and these are the platinum desires now. So, you'll score a lot here. So, um I'll just score mine first since I'm times one.
I can score either the hearts or the diamonds. I think I'll
be your diamonds.
Is that right? So, I have five. Yeah.
Five. Six. Okay. The diamonds.
Seven times.
So, four four points. So, 28.
28. Oh, boy. Let's go back to And then let's go up 30. So, 77.
Yes.
There we go.
That's interesting. I was going to go up one.
No.
And then add six and then Yeah. It's like No.
Okay. Yeah.
Now, for you, you get to score both of them.
Yeah. So just count up all hearts and diamonds.
Three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
Eight * four.
Eight time four.
So 32.
32. Yeah.
So you want to do yours?
So let's do plus two and then 30. So 56.
56.
There we go.
Next we are going to score our invited guests. So these are all the cards that we have called throughout the game.
How many total cards you have there?
How many? How many?
Four, five, six.
One, two, three, four, five, six.
All right. So they have the same amount. So you want to go first?
Sure. I have uh 1 2 3 4 uh + 6 is 10 11 + 6 is uh 17.
17. This has some
this is something else.
Oh, yeah. Two points per cold rook. Okay.
You have more than one.
Yeah.
Oh,
but but that I should have
That would have been nice. That's fine. Yeah, it's still I mean it's still 17, right?
So 17.
Okay.
So, uh let's go back three. 1 2 3 plus uh 20. Okay.
So, that's 73.
73.
There we go.
All right. So, I have one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, plus five. 14.
14.
Okay. So, I'm just going to go 14 80 91.
Go back six up 20.
I'm just going to say
81. You're right.
91. Yeah.
Okay. So, those are our invited uh guests. And finally, the last thing are endgame scoring bookmarks.
Yeah, I don't have that. So,
I just have the one. This is two points for each advancement up here. One, two, three, four, five, six. So 12 points max out.
You gonna break the 20
12 the 200. I mean
12. What is it? Am I at 91?
So 9 203
10 11 12 203.
That's it.
I needed I needed a red coordination there.
Yeah, you needed this to happen. I was kind of sweating here because I knew in the beginning when I went when I earned my first white crown, I knew I wanted Ellis to be the white queen.
Yeah, I know. I and I know you did. That's why I didn't That's why I stopped going up this tree cuz like
I had shot out with white here and then I was like, well, if I move this up, then she's advancing again and I'm trying to not do that. So that's like I that's why I abandoned this this tree basically over here.
Yeah. The thing that's interesting is this tree is expensive. So it kind of like do I want to go there and am I going to turn in my books? Like it's expensive, but you do gain strong benefits of course
and it's faster for you. It's faster for you to be able to progress Alice up the track because like as an example, the hearts, you have to put out three hearts before you can do that. But here, you can just go one, two, if you have enough in the resources, but it's hard to gain the resource in the color that you want
because you need to take actions in the opposite color.
If I wanted to Yeah. Yeah. If I really wanted to go up this way, it would get red to go. I needed the game to elongate. But I just felt like you were just going to continue on and you were going to end it on the white over there before I could even get up here with the red. It would have been hard. I would have had to find another way for me to progress. Alice, like this is definitely like
semi co-op um affair here. You need other people around the table to be invested in the same color.
One of the things I was worried about is I was one notch away from accidentally
progressing Alice. So I had to find make sure that I didn't accidentally
trigger the white paw print to go up and not help me at all. Right.
So that's what I was a little nervous about also. Yeah.
Yeah. Cuz Yeah. because I don't think you can, you know, forfeit those benefits.
And then I had this this person right here that I like I was like, stop.
You have to stop right there.
No more.
Stay where you are.
Yeah. Because I don't want to advance.
That was why I held off on doing this.
That's why I didn't want to do that because Exactly. Because I was like, well then that, you know,
because even though Even though I would have been able to progress further on the paw print track,
Alice, we would have tied. Alice would have tied
a tie. Alice
and then we would have all been able to score our crowns. That's not good.
And you had no red.
That's so good. But I had no red. That would have just benefited me.
That would have given me 16, which I don't think is anything.
What? It's not It's not
It's not Yeah, it's not enough, I guess.
Now, had I got the 18 from having that token and actually turning these in,
yeah,
you know, that that would have been that would have been good. But
yeah, that's true.
There you go.
But there you go. That is Queen Alice at two players. Now, again, at higher player counts, you'll use some other sides of the board. Um, you'll also be sort of teaming up together in terms of trying to advance Alice on one of the two tracks.
Yeah. like game, you're not really you're trying to kind of stay out of each other's way, right?
If I see that you're doing really well in something, I'm not going to like slowly just try to help you out. But the game is kind of designed in that way where if you're taking red actions, you're going to get the white stuff. You're once you get the white stuff, then now you that's the only way to get back to the red actions.
Yes. Exactly.
So, you really want to use your time when the when you have the right resources to be able to take double actions of the same color.
Yes. and you want to be able to find ways to gain those bonuses that sort of help you combo in other ways and sort of ping-pong back and forth, right? So, there's a lot of comboing that can happen. And again, at higher player counts, you'll be playing with the opposite sides of some of the boards. We're playing with the two-player side of, example, the garden board. This board, because there's only six crowns, you'll have more crowns. And at higher player counts, there'll be more players manipulating the chest pieces.
Also, the uh the starting position of these is not always the same, right? Uh, so it's basically um they're on the back of our little like aids
and um you know you just flip over one randomly and that's the one that you're going to be setting it up for. So that's how that's you set it up. So this one there wasn't as much confrontation especially at the beginning because it was all so clustered. But in other games that we've played there was a lot of like taking out and setting up moves with actual chess play.
Right. Yeah. Especially at a two-player game you can set up a move and then when it comes back around to you capture that piece, right? that
especially if you know like that like on a turn I'm going to get this bronze card now I have the piece that's needed to go and actually make a move
you know so that's like something that
it's like another level of thinking in the game that maybe is not apparent at first but it's definitely usable
yes and there are quite a bit of these cards you know we only saw a few of them we saw quite a quite a bit of them but just like Naveen was showcasing there there are cards that reward you for comboing which guests you you call and there's a lot that you can do with time and the various resources there's a lot that you can sort of manipulate around the boards. And again, there are other of these Alice's wishes tiles that come in the game. So each time you play, you'll play with a different set of them, and that'll influence sort of what you go for. Yeah.
Right.
Mhm. Well, there you have it. That is Queen Alice. Now, if you have any questions about the gameplay you saw here, feel free to leave in the comments down below.
