0:00 hello everyone this is Joannes and this is C and you are watching board gaming ramblings and today we are doing a two-player playr of Timeless Journeys the Italian Grand Tour we are and in this game we are Italians Aristocrats working our way around Italy to do cool things like art history meeting famous people all for Glory and education and as we know it all four the victory points this is a game where we're going to play five rounds every round we're going to play five action cards the action cards have different colors if I play an action card down here I'm going to do the action or one of the actions when there's a split action and then later on on my other turns I might play this action for example and do this action and then I'm going to play for example another blue card and now I can activate all the blue cards I have played it has some short little things so with deck building because you're going to start with a few cards and you're going to be able to buy new cards but you can at maximum have eight cards in your deck or in your hand at all times at the end of each round so we're going to try to do that moving through here befriending people meeting fful people as I said visiting these different cities all for victory points trying to fill in or travel Journeys we're going to start with three we have chosen two already and I think we're going to just explain what we're going to do when you do it we basically going to move around we're going to explore cities we're going to learn things or like do get different tokens of uh this

1:30 is arts for example going to get new friends going to send them letters all of these things discuss different topics in cafes as all the theme you're going to get in this video we're probably going to forget that things have theme after this yeah but I did my best because we don't do a lot of theme but mechanisms is what we are all about so with that said we are going to begin the game I am going to be the first player so we are now up there in Torino what I could do is I can start move around or I could also explore this space because then I'm going to get a bonus tile I can use or I could also get a friend cuz uh the thing is now I can get a friend that can help me move later that might be good because this friend over here is going to help me move this friend is going to help me getting resources I don't have any s's I need for this but I could use it for discussing the different topics in the cafes so was a hard little Choice here at the beginning so I actually need a friend in Torino but I'm going to wait a bit with that so I'm going to do an explore action and and when I do that up here I could take a coin but what I am going to do is I'm going to look at these two and choose one of them and this is one that gives me two coins there's no reason to not take those now so I'm just going to flip it and I'm going to take two coins because coins are pretty tight usually in this game and I and also if I get all the way up to Lord Byron I want to have coins uhuh okay I'm going to start by doing the same action I don't have any to choose from now I just have to take that one that is left and that is an S um yeah
