Description

The ducks are setting out to camp! In Donald Duck in Happy Camper, players race to explore the wilderness, set up camp, take scenic photos, and earn badges. Starting with an empty board, players reveal tiles and gather resources on their turn, but the more you have in your bag, the slower you go. Will you race to the best photo spot or set up tents in different terrains? There are bigger bonuses for being the first to complete a task, so plan carefully as you race to become the best happy camper!

Quotes (from this video)
  • DuckTales woohoo if you enjoy having fun playing games that have nostalgic themes and just enjoying good game design in general then stick around for our review of Donald Duck in happy camper
  • I was very excited going into this game and I'll have to say that it did not disappoint
  • so that does throw a lot of Chaos in because when you're on a space with your tent it only costs one movement to leave whereas if you're on Forest spaces in the center of the board it's three movement to to leave that space so it does help you out and if people are moving your tents you may be working on a marit badge for having tents in certain places or you might be trying to get to to the Lookout Point with as few movement as possible so that does throw the chaos a lot more
  • and especially at a three or four player game there's going to be a little more of that going on
  • I really enjoyed it I thought it was a good overall package
