Mechanics (from transcript analysis)
- Action Point Allowance — In a solo game, you are just going to roll a d6 and take that many actions.
- AI Opponent — When you are playing solo or cooperatively, you will be playing against the humans as an AI controlled force.
- Area Control — You're trying to get a certain number of population points to win the game.
- Card Play (Take That) — The event cards are kind of like take that cards where if you're playing against other players, you can play those event cards against other players.
- Dice Rolling (combat) — Battles are pretty simple. You take your total strength against the enemy's total strength. You add the value of a d6, and whoever has the highest value wins.
- event cards — Event cards are kind of like take that cards where if you're playing against other players, you can play those event cards against other players. But if you're playing against the human AI, then you will use those cards to kind of bolster your strength.
- set collection — The space stuff cards, these are cards that add weird alien technology, and at certain times you will be able to draw a space stuff card, and these will give you some absolutely awesome things that you can do on your turn.
- Variable player powers — Each one of these races do play quite differently. They have, you know, the same kind of stats, but each one has a series of different powers that you can use to help you conquer the planet Earth.

Quotes (from this video)
- And hey, remember when Flying Frog Productions made games other than Shadows of Brimstone? Uh, wasn't that great?
- Let's put an end to Shadows of Brimstone and get to some other games.
- In the 1950s, it is the 1950s, and a shadow has fallen across the Earth.
- So, hey, there's our old buddies, the Trune from Shadows of Brimstone? So I guess this canonically does take place in the same universe.
- I think this might be uh Flying Frog Productions best looking game. I just love all of the art on this cards.
- This game is just super super fun. So low-key, so just kind of brainless and fun. Again, it's it is like, you know, it's like a game of Space Invaders on your table.
- But uh yeah, I think if you can find this game for an affordable price, I think it's definitely worth picking up.
- And it just it really makes me wish that Flying Frog Productions made other games again.
