Mechanics (from transcript analysis)
- set collection — Your aim here is to win exactly one, three, or five tricks in each round. Depending on the number of odd number tricks that you win will depend on how many moon tokens you will collect. And your aim here is to collect five moon tokens and put them together.
- Special cards — There are also eclipse cards that appear in the game that allow you to win a trick if no one played the currently lead suit. They also add plus one to the number of tricks that you won if you have it in your pile at the end of the round.
- Trick-taking — A lead player will play a card and all the other players around the table need to play a card of the same suit. Whichever player has the highest number of that suit will win the trick.
- Trump suit selection — There are only two suits in this game, the rising moon and the falling moon. Whichever side the two yellow markers are on, that's the trump suit.
