From Monopoly to Catan #shorts

0:00 I have to break it down in three eras. So, the first encounter with like some serious board games was uh Monopoly way back way back when. Uh when spending 12 hours a day just playing a game was okay. We didn't have internet. Uh we didn't have proper cable TV. So, you know, just spending a Saturday uh playing that was perfectly fine. Uh then the second coming was when I was like 13 or 14, I discovered Magic the Gathering. And I was like, "Wow, this this is something else entirely." And then, yes, the third coming was Catan where like for half a year me and my friends would get together every Friday evening and just like play for hours. That was like, "Wow, board games are so good." And then from there I just uh yeah, discovered BoardGameGeek and the rest is history.
