Hey everybody, it's your old pal Rob. Today, we are going to be talking about the ultimate solo dungeon crawlers that you can play in probably under an hour. Now, [snorts] not everybody has the time of time to sit there and and play games all the time. We have busy lives, we have families, we have grandchildren, and such and everything. And sometimes just getting away and being able to play a dungeon crawler and just have a nice solo experience just to break up your day a little bit.
Now, I'm going to give you a couple of my favorites that I think are the ultimate experiences that you can get away with in under an hour. And uh they're in no particular order. Now, one of my all-time favorite games and one of the best games I've ever played, uh I can do an adventure um and continue on. And and and this is where, you know, you you either look at the complete or how long it takes you to do about one good mission. And uh I'm going to put D100 in there. Um you once you get your character created, you can kind of roll through a quest in about in about an hour and just about an underneath that. Um mapping, making sure that you have everything uh you know, in place, and your character set, you can breeze through a couple of these in and a whole bunch of them, uh especially the early quests, in under an hour. Um I've done it numerous times.
I've done it live for you guys. Um and it's just a lot of fun. It is uh a dice chucker and build-your-own dungeon, you know, and just a ultimate fun experience that you can even experience and get a lot of gratification under an hour, and then come back to it and do another quest at some other time when you have time and available. Another [snorts] one I'm going to suggest is, and I think is ultimate, is Bag of Dungeons, which I have right here. Uh takes anywhere from 20 to to an hour. Um this is a lot a lot of fun. And I really consider this one of the best games. There's Bag of Dungeons 2.
There's Bag of Dungeons. Um these are just fantastic fun experiences where you're pulling dungeon pieces out of a bag and building your dungeon, and usually getting killed pretty quickly. Uh but you can play the whole experience, the entire experience in under an hour. You do you're dead, or you're taking that dragon out. And usually if you can get to the hour mark, you're going to end up facing that dragon, and good luck with that because it is never ever ever easy to deal with. Um and and but this is a game that I suggest for everybody. Head over to uh Gunpowder Studios. You're definitely going to want to check this out, and that is Bag of Dungeons. Such a quick, fun solo game that you can have so much fun. You could play four-player up to four players with it, but for me it just works so well solo, and I think it's one of the ultimate solo experiences that you can have by yourself, and just have a tremendous fun experience.
The next entry here that I'm going to say and I'm going to put in my ultimate list here is from the same company. And only it's called Book of Dungeons. Yeah, that's right. Book of Dungeons from Gunpowder Studios. Um this here again it takes you very quickly to make a character. It's going to run you 10 to 30 minutes. The reason I love this one so much is there are just 100 dungeons in here that you can play over and over with different types of characters. The replayability is ridiculous. And with life kicking you in the teeth as much as it could, okay, grabbing a pencil and some dice and you are off and running with this. You're going to build your character and then you're going to work your through away through this. Now, I suggest print making copies of these if you if you can and just working from that. You could blow them up or make them smaller. However, you want you want to do it. But all the information is all on this one page. Everything that you need to know, you're looking for, your monsters, the different tiles that you can run into and and and and put down in each one of those sections kind of just like the bag of dungeons and just have an enjoyable, fantastic, wonderful, wonderful experience
which is just tons and tons of fun. The next one that I'm going to suggest in my ultimate all-time all-time solo dungeon crawls you can play in under an hour. Um this is from Fighting Fantasy. You are the hero, but it's in the book of series and this one is Warlock Firetop Mountain. You are going to breeze through this book and you are going to have your character, which doesn't take take long to make, and you are going to go through this. There is some reading and it's an adventure book, but it is a crawl. And I'm telling you, you're not making it. You're not making it to our to 45 minutes without dying at least once. Um and and and ending the game and having to start all over.
Uh fun old school just a tremendous tremendous tremendous experience and a game that I highly highly suggest. There are I believe there's nine books in total from Steve Jackson and Ian Livingstone. And there's actually um Uh this is actually I believe on on the PlayStation 5 where you could play it to his narration, which is so much fun. And so deadly, especially if you just don't get it right. Now, again, in a world full of I'm going to have to spend half a day dungeon crawls, especially ones with with with everything as complicated and intricate as it is today. We are talking about the ultimate solo dungeon crawlers you can play in under an hour. Another one that I want to talk about is Dungeon.
Okay? A very very old old school game. Uh tough, hard, but it is a very simplified game, but very satisfying, very quick to set up. Get ready to roll through it. Um some of the weaknesses well, you know, there's not a ton of strategy involved. You are just crawling around fighting hoping to survive and and pick up as much treasure as you possibly can. Well, good luck with that. Because you are going to get kicked in the teeth by this more than once. And it is a fun game to play by it by yourself. It can be played with other players, of course.
And another which I really and and the last one I'm going to put on this list that I consider the ultimate dungeon crawl is probably one of the hardest games you will ever play in your life. And that is Dungeon Quest. Uh plays great with other players, but I love playing this solo. Just trying to get as much treasure as I can and get out. Now, some people like it with other players in a race to try to get to, you know, the where the dragon is and where all the treasure is and pick up the treasure and get what you need and get out. Well, it's not not that easy, my friends. Because you are going to be dying more than more than often. Usually within the first 15 minutes the game's over.
And then you have to start again. And we have been through that a million times whether we fell through a pit or got you know, squashed or whatever. But this is a game I just love to set up, lay out all the tiles real quick, get going, die a few times, throw it in the box, and walk away. Another fantastic ultimate experience, ultimate solo experience a dungeon crawl that you can play in under an hour. Now, I hope this helps you in and this uh little list there many many other games 2D dungeon and some other ones that come a little go over a little bit of hour, but I'm going to tell you their solo experiences that you can get away from your daily grind and just enjoy fantastic wonderful dungeon games that are just plain fun.
Go check them out. Until next time it's your old pal Rob. We'll see you soon everybody. And thanks for watching the video. Be sure to head over to Trading Card Market where you'll get the best in sports cards, trading cards, trading card supplies, Legos and more. Trading Card Market .com
