My Top 50 Board Games!!! Numbers 45 - 41 🎲
Transcript
Back to it, ranking the top 50 games in my collection. And I feared that these next five, my heart took over my head on this one. Oh, well. Great collection, don't you agree? Scratch it up, board games top 50. Yeah. Number 45, Back to the Future: Dice Through Time. In this cooperative game, Biff has been dropping the wrong items in the wrong timeline, so you've got to clean up his mess as well as sorting out other problems that are happening. You do this by assigning dice, but you've got to make sure you avoid paradoxes and that you don't run out of time. I'm going to be honest, this wouldn't be in my top 50 if the Back to the Future IP wasn't splashed all over it, but I'm a sucker for Back to the Future. It is my favorite film of all time and it is the second game I ever owned in my collection, so I can never let it go.
Number 44, Patchwork. It is a really cute, cozy two-player competitive game. You're trying to make the best patchwork quilt, taking patchwork pieces and tetrissing it onto your player board. It's wholesome, it's fun, it's competitive yet being incredibly chill, and when you get a Tetris piece to fit perfectly, mwah, chef's kiss. Number 43, Cluedo. Dr. Black has been and you have to figure out who did it, where they did it, and what they did it with. But in terms of old-school games, this is one of the best. People have taken the Agatha Christie murder mystery theme and have done a lot better than Clue and Cluedo, in my opinion, but Cluedo walked so that they could run. And I just have so many fun memories playing this with my brother and cousins. Number 42, The Resistance. The Resistance is a social deduction game where majority of you are the good guys, the Resistance, but some of you are the bad guys, the spies. Each round a certain number of players are going to head out on a mission. If you're part of the Resistance, you have to put in a success card, but if you are a spy, you can put in success or a fail. If there's just one fail, the spies win that round. The first team to claim three rounds is the winner. It tears friendship groups apart with lies and suspicion, and I am here for that hot steaming cup of tea, the drama. Doctor Who: Time of the Daleks.
Exterminate! We're playing either the first Doctor, the fourth Doctor, the 11th Doctor, and the 12th Doctor. You're doing the classic Doctor thing where you're hopping world to world trying to save them from impending doom. You do this by rolling dice, and you've got tools to help you along the way, you've got companions as well. If you're able to save the planet, well done, you move one step closer to victory. If you don't, a Dalek will appear, and Daleks are a bad thing, a very, very bad thing. This is the closest that it has got to you feeling like you have actually become the Doctor. Five games to add to the top 50 in my collection. See you in the next video.
