it's funny because we're starting with a kids game I'm Felicia hi I'm all right all right what the hell dude identity wow let's start out are you going to start over hi I'm Felicia and I'm J Carlo and this is our review of wolf Hound the kidss game it's a kids game I just before you start no I'm okay so everybody's after the Sheep is that it cuz the wolf he's hiding here the wolf's hiding here this is the house game so it be like me and you versus luk and Jess cuz they're all together we married together and then uh we're we're trying to send the wolf in their pens to get the sheeps out and I see whoever has the Sheep out by in this two versus two player Team game you're trying to make the Wolf Chase your opponent's sheep from their pens while making the Hound bring your sheep back to yours place the board in the middle of the table grab the player cards and either determine randomly or choose your team which would sit across from each other one and three are the blue team and two and four are the yellow team take a player board and make the pen with three sheep in each pen each player also takes a reference card determine the animals you want to play with and place them face up in front of the first player for this review we'll use the recommendation of beginner Shuffle the number cards and deal four to each player you're ready to play each turn consists of five phases as written

on the reference card first you activate all animal cards that are in front of the active player this is skipped for the first turn of the game the order of sequence is the pink sheep card first the black wolf and lastly the white Hound the pink sheep cards generally spice up the game with effects like this one for instance we'll make make you skip your turn which activates be other the two animals effectively not making them activate the wolf will have the active player move one of his sheep out of his pen and into the wooded area in this case this wolf will actually have the player to the right move one of his sheep out of his pen the Hound will have you place one of your sheep in the woods back into your pen the next phase is to check endgame conditions if all sheep from a players are out of his pin that team loses the third phase will have the active player play a number card the white or day ones will move the Hound the black or night ones move the wolf notice either card will move the Sheep cards as listed on the top left corner the number of space they move is determined by the number on the card and speed modifiers of the affected animal card example the forehand card will move the for Hound spaces clockwise to end his move on here in front of you again however because the Sheep has half speed he'll end his move two spaces away here the bottom of the animal cards will show show you how many spaces the animals will speed modifiers move the first number is the card played while the second is the spaces moved clockwise when done the fourth phase we'll have the active player draws a card to

replenish his hand back to four should there be no cards left to draw he does not draw any do not reshuffle the discard pile to make a new deck then the next player takes their turn when a player has no cards in hand and the end game condition has not been meant the game ends at phase two of player one teams total up their sheep and pens in the ones with the most wins before we move on to final thought I want to showcase some of the animal cards as they make the game more complex some will flip over when certain conditions are met to either change facing gain speed modifiers or become another animal entirely the other sheep card will limit playing a three numbered card which are the most numerous and you may decide to play with two wolf cards but starting the game with four sheep in your pen is recommended rather than three the game also features a little expansions with number cards to make the game slightly more tactical Delicia has final thoughts wolf and Hound is definitely geared at a younger audience as such the look of the game is impressive even for an older audience components are great visually and the artwork is very cute and suitable we think the theme is well represented as well through the mechanics in terms of tactics though sometimes you simply don't have much choice this is due to random luck from cards drawn to animal placement on the board so there isn't really much on the strategy Department your mitigation comes from playing the right card that turn and hope you draw into a better one and that the board will have changed but again this game is more suited as a family game and wolf and Hound does the task of teaching the young ones what card to be played each turn and see the

consequence of their action it promotes communication with the team element it has replay value with different difficulty settings and plays quickly enough so as it doesn't drag out light casual game for anyone with pre-teens for their family gaming night wolf and Hound scores a seven out of 10
