hello so today I want to tell you about the follow-up game to Mars Escape that was sent to me and that is Mars Escape party Rumble now I have to say these games hold a special place in my heart because Mars Escape was the first game that was ever sent to me to do a video on so that was really cool for me and this is now the followup that is available for purchase now this is a great way to support a small business and let me tell you about this game so you have crash landed on Mars and you get to play with three to eight other people unfortunately only one of you is going to make it off of Mars the rest of you are going to be stranded there and the goal is to make it off of Mars so how are you going to do that well you're going to want to collect ship parts but the aliens are holding your ship parts generally they're holding one ship part a few of them are holding two depending on player count you either need three or four ship parts in order to successfully escape from the planet and get back home so this game is played over rounds and each round has two phases and look at this there are eight player AIDS included because this is a three to eight player game the first phase is the item phase and you just follow the steps that are on there and then once you are ready you've played all the items you want to because you don't have to play all of them that are in your hand you flip this over to the attack phase and it tells you how this will play out and once everyone one has flipped to the attack phase we know we are ready to

start and that is where the fun happens so for the item phase you have your starting hand of four and you are going to reveal an alien so this alien will allow you to discard one and draw two he doesn't have ship parts let's say we got this one instead the little green man and over here means that you can only play one weapon card to try and win this and he's going to give you one ship part so each alien will have a different number of weapon cards that you can use to try and win it some will let you use up to four this one only let you use one so on your turn everybody is going to draw a card if you are below four cards you're going to draw up to four cards there's no upper hand limit so you could hoard a whole bunch for when something good comes out that you really want like those aliens that have two ship parts so flip over a new alien card draw from the rumble deck we just did that you may play blue and purple items and then you flip this when you're ready to attack so all of the cards are very clear they are red they are blue or they are purple so it's very clear what can be played whenn so for this I can lay down any purple or blue cards in front of me so I could play this which is a confusion Ray which says cancel the currently played it item or any red card so if somebody else plays an item out I

don't like and you're all doing this simultaneously it's not around the table you're just doing it and then you flip when you're done so I can cancel someone's item or weapon so I could save this for the next round I can also play out my freeze ray stop another player from attacking this turn so if someone's getting really close to winning nope you don't get to attack this turn this is a very take that game you have to like that I have a storm machine Shuffle everyone's hands together and deal them out this would cause some chaos and I may be an agent of chaos when I play these types of games I like short card games that to take that I don't love big heavy games that take that but in games like this I think it is super fun so let's say I put down my freeze ray and I say you don't get to attack this turn and I'm good everybody has flipped to Red now we get to determine what weapons we're going to use to try and get the alien now I have two weapons in my hand I have a ray gun which does 10 damage or I have a screwdriver which does two so I could choose to sit out this Rumble entirely if I'm like you know what I don't really want this one this time but let's say I did and let's say I really wanted it I'll put out my card for 10 damage I put it out face down because this tells me Place weapon cards face down I love a good player Aid then everyone simultaneously will flip up their card and I could only play one weapon card this time because of the limit on the alien it will change round to round then we calculate um our weapon

effect cards you can also play purple cards during this round so I could totally cancel out someone's weapon card that they played and then you calculate who had the most damage you resolve everything and whoever's the winner gets this and it goes into their pile and then you flip back to Blue draw cards flip a new alien play proceeds until someone has gotten the required number of ship cards in order to make it off of Mars and leave everyone else behind and I do take a little bit of Glee in that so this is definitely a very fun light take that game there is strategy to it but it is not intended to be super serious that if you take someone out for a round or you block them it's not intended to be that big of a deal it's intended to be fun it lets you be a little bit of a menace and have a good time doing it so I encourage you go check out Mars Escape party Rumble I have tagged the Creator below again this is a great way to support a game from a small designer I've had a lot of fun with this I would love to know if you've played Mars Escape or if you're interested in playing Mars Escape party Rumble give me a like and a follow and I'll keep bringing you more board game content thanks bye
