move and manipulate your cube strategically so you can attack your opponents and take control for the lactic supremacy this is cube attack in this video we'll show you quick how to play off the game coming up [Music] [Music] hi it's Tara and Stella from the University but using prototype of the gate so the rules and the components you see he may not be final now let's get to the table coming to Kickstarter in 2020 cube attack is a quick playing abstract strategy skirmish game it was designed by Adam open car Dino and published by vana Gloria games the game plays two to six players in twenty to thirty minutes and is of life complexity in cube attack players control fleets of cubes who are battling for control of the vana Gloria galaxy players will use the actions that are available on the planets to try to gain and hold control of the moons players score points each round for the moons they control and the first player to 64 points wins the game the game is simple to learn and quick to play meaning players need to quickly set up their strategic positions on the board on a turn a player takes two actions these can be to move a cube to a connected planet to use the ability of a planet containing only that player's cubes or to attack an opponent's cube the latter two actions may only be done once per turn / q after all players have taken two actions the round ends and players score two points for controlling a crescent moon for for controlling a full moon or half of those points for shared control planet actions are straightforward the cube planet allows a new cube to be brought into the game a health planet allows that cubes health to be bolstered from 1 to 2 and the armory allows a cube to be upgraded from unarmed to a short-range weapon to a long-range weapon short-range weapons allow a cube to attack an opponent on the same planet long-range weapons allow attack on a connected planet there is no luck or uncertainty involved when attacking player simply chooses an opponent's cube to destroy or to reduce its health by one all of this leads to a game which is simple to learn and highly adaptable with up to six players able to play with no luck mark gameplay depends on strategic thinking and is limited by the two action points available in each round meaning once positions are set up the game will tend to evolve slowly and opponents may need to be grudgingly work together in order to make sure one player doesn't get into a position for a runaway victory it plays in less than half an hour and is well suited for players looking for a combative game with minimal setup and learning the game ends once at least one player has reached 64 points and the player with the most points at the end of that round wins the game and that's the other view of cube attack hope you enjoyed the video at the time of filming cube attack is about to be launched on Kickstarter so we'll put a link in the description below when it's live so you can check it out there if you enjoyed this video please hit the like button and subscribe to us you can do that by hitting the maple on the corner and don't forget to hit the bell icon so you know when we have new exciting videos you can also follow me on Instagram for my board games journey and finally if you have any questions comments or feedback please write them in the comment section below until next time
