Hey everybody, it's your old pal Rob. Today we're going to be talking taking a look at a game that's going to be coming to Kickstarter. Um, it is All's Well That Ends. All right. Uh, I'm not going to go over the gameplay or anything like that, but I'm going to tell you kind of what's going on, and I'm going to give you some thoughts on the other side. Uh, it's coming. It's from a game called 1144 Games. Uh, designed by Nick Fletcher. Very nice man. Uh, if you really want to see gameplay, uh, I I know Mike over at the OneTop Co-op Shop did like 3 hours worth of coverage. And to be honest with you, I just don't have time to put three hours into this one. But I do want to make you aware of this because this is a very interesting game and we'll talk more about it on the other side. Let's just go down take a look at at some of the things that you're going to be doing and then we'll come back and we'll talk more about it on the other side of this.
Now, don't mind my my my beautiful C map here. has nothing to do with the game or anything like that, but you can go over to uh a GameStop uh Kickstarter and get one of these beautiful mats. With that said, there's a lot going on here, and it's pretty cool. Um the the the prototype comes with uh three uh um uh a couple of campaigns here that you can do. It's not the full game, actually. It's I I think it's a couple of chapters and then the rest are included in the full game as they're doing everything and everything is, you know, very deep, especially with the first one. You know, uh nice prologue. Um you're going to have to do some reading. As you can see, there's a lot of iconography here. And you know, if that if that's works for you, then boom, you're off and run here.
the supplement maps. I really like companies that are doing this now, so you don't have to take out a map and do all these things. And a lot of times the map will come with all the instructions and everything that you need. Again, this is a prototype version. It's going to tell you where you're going to need to put everything by the little icons here. And, you know, depending on what chapter you're in, um, there's a beautiful guide to the first game. And like I said, uh yeah, you know, for a prototype, this is done so well. And um as you can see, you're going to need to to play with at least anywhere from three to four players. I I think you have to play with four players, excuse me. Um to do this and and you could do it solo or you can do it co-op with a bunch of friends. Um and everything around there that that will go with it. There's going, like I said, a ton of iconography. Uh the rule book, it's very well written. Uh and this is what I was talking about.
Uh because I want to show you guys uh yeah, the campaign. Um just a lot of of symbols that you're going to have to figure out. U you're going to have [clears throat] intent cards, loot cards, uh death throws cards. Um there's no dice chucking here. This is all all determined by by playing a certain amount of cards to attack. Um, and I want to show you this is your very first mission. Okay? And you're going to have your heroes here and then everything around it, of course. Uh, each player is going to come with their own cards, their own their own, uh, player board. And then again, um, you know, just tons of different symbols to kind of figure out what, you know, um, you know, certain things like plunder, conceal, uh, and and and and what these things will do. Um, you know, I if these type of things bother you, it it may be a little tough for you, but trust me, it's pretty good. Um, it has a, you know, you're going to have your your your mode here where you're going to do your combat, but there's also, which is very interesting, this um type of like seventh continent feel to it because when you're adventuring, there's going to be certain things that you're going to be looking up and going through and and and negotiating throughout this. and a nice little story to read on the back.
So when you know you come to this point, you're going to read this out and then you know flip it over and then you like I said you know you got all these different points that you are going to be venturing in into um you know really nice standies and I I've been a big fan of standies lately. Um, you know, I I love miniatures, but sometimes when you could just put some standies on on on a stand and just play a game. I think that is a fantastic thing all into itself. Uh, like I said, here is the icon reference. There are a ton of icons that you're going to need to to know, but this nice reference here will keep you in in intact and keep you moving throughout this. Um, really interesting. There's health dials. Um, there's a nice player raid, your standandy. Um, you're going to have your trigger tokens that are going to trigger certain things. Um, you're going to have tactic cards. That is how you're going to combat with these tactic cards. And you're also going to have uh car, you know, your enemies are also going to have tactic cards, which are very interesting because as you're they're they're attacking you, depending on certain situations, there's going to be a card that's going to break everything down. Again, I I I really didn't want to go too far into this because there's so much uh to it, but I'm trying to explain as much as I can, but go over to the one shop one shop one
shop co-op co-op shop. the one-stop co-op shop. I don't know why I trip over that all the time. Mike is Mike is so good at explaining these things and and he he's done like two hours video of this and put a lot of time into it. And I think if I just did that, I'd just be I mean, I wouldn't even come close to the quality and and how well he explains things. So, definitely check this out and definitely check out the Kickstarter page and see if this is for you. Uh, you know, and uh we'll talk more about this up top. very interesting. You know, I I I I'm I'm really loving what they're doing nowadays with games with the books that open up and there's your map and everything that you need, where you got to put everything and so forth and so on. Um the the rule book is very thorough. Um, for me, for me there a lot of I um if you have a problem with a lot of symbols, um, this one, this one is going to take you a little bit because there are a lot of different symbols that you got to kind of try to figure out and stuff like that. Not a bad thing. Not a bad thing at all. Uh, this um um the adventure tiles, when you're going out adventuring, there are there are these beautiful tiles that have this very enriched story and everything. And there's only three three little things in here. Um, uh, little campaigns in here. Um, there's going to be so much more. Like I said, this is just a prototype. And, uh, you know, I just
wanted to show you a few things of it. Um, if if you're a big fan of combat without dice, boom. I mean, this does it all. The AI works very very very well here. um and and and and how uh your opponents react to you are are very very interesting. This is coming to Kickstarter. You're going to want to back it. Like I said, go check out, you know, OneTop Co-op. Probably the most honest guy uh in the business and, you know, as as far as giving a a good review and and um uh breaking everything down. Ju just a great great channel. um this one here. I wanted to make sure that all the people that that follow this channel uh knew about this and um um and support this this this is a nice nice game here. All well that ends. All right, from Nick Fletcher. Come to Kickstarter, I believe October 24th. Uh check it out. Um I I think you're really going to like this. Until next time, it's your old power up. We'll see you soon, everybody.
