Viewpoint Revisioned Card Game - Quick How to Play

hi it's taryn and stella from meeple university today we'll be showing you a quick how to play or overview for viewpoint revision so hopefully you can get a bit of flavor for this game coming up [Music] we do a lot of how to play live later videos and more so if you're new here please consider subscribing and hit the bell to be notified of our new videos and if you find value from this video later please hit the like button subscribe to us hit the bell and leave your feedback in the comments for artists to find for now let's get to the table viewpoint revision is a quick playing card game in which players battle to widen their vision to victory it was designed by sean carroll and published by 93 made games the game plays two to six players in 20 to 40 minutes and is of light complexity viewpoint revision is a hand and tableau management game for two to six players each player begins with a hand of 5 cards and will be building a tableau called their field of view aiming to gain viewpoints and assemble a tableau worth at least 100 viewpoints on each turn the player draws one card into hand plays one card from their hand into their field of view resolves the action on the card and then checks their score to see if they've scored 100 points and won the game the card actions have all of the hallmarks of a great hand management or take that game they may make you draw cards or discard cards some will let you impact other players by swapping cards or destroying cards they already have played or perhaps by swapping or stealing cards from an opponent's hand there are also some cards which may be played out of turn to cancel an opponent's attack the first player to end a turn with a hundred or more viewpoints in their field of view wins the game alternatively if the draw deck is empty and all players are out of cards in hand then whoever has the most viewpoints wins viewpoint revision reimplements the earlier game viewpoint providing a new set of cards with which to play further card sets including i vs i are planned for additional flexibility with each player will stand alone or in a combined deck the cards show art of the blinkers one and three eyed scientists from mit and feature a wide range of eye related puns ensuring that this quick and fun game will go down spectacularly and that's quick how to play of viewpoint revision we hope that you enjoy the video we are using a prototype copy here of the game and so the rules and components may not be final and do check out the project page for the game we will put that in the description below and if you find this video useful please help us by hitting that like button subscribe to us you can also hit the meeple in the corner to do so and hit the bell icon so you'll be one of the first to know when we have new and exciting videos you can also follow me on instagram for my board games journey and if you have any questions comments or feedback please leave them in the comments section below see you next time
