Quacks Board Game Unboxing | DaniCha
Hi everyone, Danielle here. I'm doing an unboxing of Quacks. This is the new version of Quacks in Quedlinburg, I think it's the full name of that one. And this video is sponsored by Boardtopia, which is where I got this game from. All right, so let's try to get this unboxed. I'm very excited. This does not have an official solo mode, but I know that a fan variant does exist, so I'm willing to give it a try at some point.
All right. So it's a pretty small box. Let's get it opened. Not sure how I feel about the art. >> [laughter] >> It kind of looks like a claymation type art, which is interesting. Not exactly my style, but yeah, kind of looks like it could be a hologram if it wanted to be. Okay. We have the rule book.
All right, looks like there's plenty of pictures. Very clearly laid out, so I'm hoping that this will be an easy learn. We have some player boards. 1 2 3 4 player boards, and they are all looking pretty much the same except for the color. As you can see or tell, this looks like it's a cauldron and you're kind of stirring up stuff in your cauldron.
We have a board here. Looks like a victory point tracker, some other type of tracker here of some kind. Some punch out boards. Looks like we'll have some books. Tokens, potions. Okay. Some additional tokens as well. Looks like different ingredients. This is not a deluxe version, so everything is cardboard.
And this is a bag building game, so there's going to be a lot of bags. We have a 1 2 3 4 fairly large drawstring bags where you'll be placing your tokens in. And then we have some baggies for those tokens. Some gems. Not sure if these will maybe be the victory points or something, but we have some typical gems that you'd see in board games these days.
Nothing too crazy. Some wooden tokens. Looks like some score trackers, and then we have a a die as well. So wooden printed die. And then these are the tokens. Wooden as well. And then lastly we have some cards. So we'll flip through some of them. So all of these look to be the same type of cards. So it says choose score four victory points or remove a white one token from your bag.
So different things that you get to do. Looks like it's like a what do you call it, fortune ball or something? This will tell you things you can do. Some conditional stuff as well. Okay. Well, I don't know too too much about this game, so I can't really comment much more about it, but this was the unboxing of what comes in the Quacks retail edition.
And yeah. I hope to enjoy the solo mode that someone has come up with. And if I do, I will likely create a video for it. So if you want to make sure you don't miss out on that, be sure to subscribe to my channel if you're not already subscribed.
