Skyrim - Let's Play - Heart of the Mountain - Part 1

The Dungeon Dive Sep 23, 2026
Transcript 49:54

Hey folks, welcome back to the dungeon dive. Daniel here. I hope you're doing well, and if you're not, I hope you are soon. All right, I thought I would uh maybe kick off a series on Skyrim, this little uh little indie game that maybe not a lot of people have heard about. Uh but yeah, um about every year I return to Skyrim for a while. I've been playing this since it came out, 2011, and I've never beaten I've never beaten the main quest. I don't even really care about it. I don't care about the Stormcloaks or the Imperials at all. Uh they can they can just do their own thing. I also don't really care about the dragons. And in this particular game, I have received I did pick up the Dragon Stone from Bleke Falls Barrow, but I always do Bleke Falls Barrow in a playthrough just because it the way I play Skyrim, I kind of treat it as an amusement park and the dungeons and things to explore, those are those are like the rides. And so Bleak Falls Barrow is like the first ride I always go on and it's kind of like, you know, going to Disneyland and not going on Pirates of the Caribbean.

it would just feel wrong. And so I always do Bleak Falls Barrow, but I haven't I I've delivered the Dragon Stone, but I haven't started that first dragon quest. And one of the main reasons why is I don't like the random dragon attacks. I think fighting fighting dragons in this game is really boring, and they always seem to interrupt just having fun and questing. And so I'm not going to do that. But uh this is my character here, Helena. And I used an alternate start mod. And she started in Mararthth. And I started her as, you know, wanting to be just kind of like a bounty hunter, just wanting to be a mercenary. And she started and I said that she had a really just a terrible nightmare.

And she woke up, you know, in the nightmare she had killed somebody. And she woke up and found like blood on her hands. and she realized it wasn't a nightmare. It was real. And so that quest for that nightmare was the House of Horrors. And she killed that priest inside or that that that Inquisitor or whoever was in there. And you know, she kind of got possessed by this spirit and found herself tangled up in this drich quest. And so that's kind of like her quest. Maybe now she's going on a quest for redemption or something. But uh that's kind of how I started uh this. I am playing uh I have a a mace and a hammer. And so this is what I am equipped with. And right now the main thing I wanted to do in this playthrough is actually one of the mods. So I don't play with a lot of mods. I don't play with Nexus mods or anything. The reason I don't is because when I do, I often find that I end up tinkering and tweaking the mods more than I play. And I don't like that. And so I'm playing with the basic creation stuff that you get with the anniversary edition and a few mods from the creation club. And you can just see the mods that I'm playing with now. So not a lot, just a few. But the one that I'm interested in, I want to focus on in this playthrough is this really large almost like full DLC size.

It's fully voice acted and everything through the Creation Club. And that's called Heart of the Mountain. And uh this was $10 on the Creation Club and man it sounds and looks really really cool. I watched about a half an hour of a playthrough and it seems just really expansive. There's new biomes. There's like a desert and a swamp and stuff. So uh yeah, let's uh let's start into the the heart. What is it? What did I say it was called? Heart of the mountain. I forgot the name of it. I always forget the name. Heart of the mountain. Yeah. And so our quest right now that we are going on is into the mountain. So I found a note and the way you start this quest, the main way is you find a note in the inn at Markarth. And so I found a note warning passers by about dangers in Twisted Root Cave. It might be worth investigating. And so that's what we are doing now. Now, apparently this is part two or there's a kind of a prequel or something. There's a there's an an older part to this and I think it's called Blood and Snow or Snow and Sword or something. I haven't played that and I was more curious about this one just because of like the new biomes and everything. So, uh yeah. Well, let's start into this uh cave here.

So, I'm really happy with the way this game looks, just with like the little mods. I'm looking I know people mod the crap out of this and get it to look amazing. But, um I I kind of still like it to kind of look like old Skyrim, just a little nicer. Oh, yeah. And this is Bjorn. I didn't introduce Bujorn. So, Bjorn is another Creation Club follower, and uh he's he's pretty funny. He's really earnest. Hi, of course. Ask away.

And he's fully voiced and he's got he's got a personal quest and everything. So, um yeah, we'll hang out with Bejorn for a while. There is a follower that you get in this expansion though and she seems really cool like Audrey this living doll. And so, we will have Bjorn wait so we can take her cuz I don't think you can you can take both.

caught on a route there. Oh, it's uh it's really bright over here.

Let's go look over here. See if we missed anything. Yeah, this is this is cool. I I love when you find these uh cool mods and like you get to experience a game again for the uh first time. All right, doesn't look like I really missed anything here. Take the wolf pelt.

So, this character is only level eight. I kind of just started playing again a couple days ago, just playing a little off and on, and that's when I stumbled upon this uh this mod. I also typically play in third person. I just like games where I get to see my character. I don't really like first person games that much. Sometimes I will switch to first person if I want just a little little different perspective, but I prefer playing games in third person. I like to see the cool gear that my character has, and that's uh one one of the reasons why I I haven't been able to get into cyberpunk. Uh cyber the cyberpunk genre is a genre all about fashion and looking cool. But for some reason they decide decided to make the big cool cyberpunk game first person to where you can almost never see your character. So it doesn't matter what you look like. It doesn't matter your fashion and how cool you look or how weird you look. And that that to me that was a really really big misstep for cyberpunk cuz the best thing about the cyberpunk genre is just the crazy fashion. But oh man, look at all these kajit. They're all dead.

That guy's like leg. Oh no, there's his leg. Or is that his leg? Yeah. Okay. I thought his legs were chopped off. Don't need to pick up any of that. Oh my god. So much blood. Jeez. These guys got these guys just got like wiped out.

Oh, a journal. The guards we hired are nervous. This is their first time making the trip from Skyrim to the old lands. Many had never heard of them before, and those that had believed them to be a myth or a place of dri terrors. This one reassured them, of course. This one has made the trip to the old lands many times before and has faced nothing worse than a few agitated spriggins and twisted root cave on the way to the portal. This time should be even easier. This one has seen no sign of any wildlife at all so far. It should be a smooth trip through twisted route to the old lands. Oh boy. Uh he was unfortunately very wrong because something slaughtered this entire uh caravan of Kajit.

I'm listening.

And I don't think it was just these dead wolves here.

some nice uh some nice travel reading. Uh that one had. All right, looks like we're uh good in here. So, all right. Well, let's continue on. I don't know. I kind of don't want to run into whatever slaughtered them.

Hopefully, this DLC is, you know, kind of scaled down. I think I remember reading that they the creator did want to make it so people could start it pretty early. Hopefully, you don't need to be like over level 10 or something. I do play on one of the easier difficulties. I think it's adapt. Is that what I play on? Can't remember. Let's see. Uh, no, I'm playing on novice. So, uh, the reason why is I don't think the combat in Skyrim is very good. And on higher difficulties, it just makes the enemies have more HP and hit harder. they don't really like do anything new as far as I can tell and I don't feel like the combat is very fun or strategic or it controls very well. So, I play this game on easy because like I said, this is more like a fantasy amusement park for me. I'm here to explore and look at stuff and discover the quests and the stories of the quests and just yeah, just have a good time. I don't feel like I need to like challenge myself playing uh playing Skyrim.

This really is a twisted root cave here. This is a cool cave. Sometimes I find in these uh these mod dungeons or the creation dungeons is that uh the creators often make things too big because they feel like they want to give more to the fans, more to the people who download them. And so they make the dungeons really really big and long and kind of tedious. And one thing I've heard about this mod is that's not the case. they tried to keep things uh like smaller in size like like vanilla Skyrim. And that's one of my favorite things about Skyrim is that it's such a fun game to just play in little bite-sized chunks. Like you can log in and do one or two dungeons and have a really fun time and they don't take forever to do. So, all right. So, I'm not sure what's going on here, but it's probably not good.

There's this kind of like green mist and Something's going on. Search Twisted Root Cave is completed. Oh, what are these guys? Some shades.

Damn you.

Okay, so it looks like this is scaled pretty easy. We might want to turn up the difficulty one one notch cuz I'm like oneotting these guys.

That's how it works. Okay. Wh What's going on?

Whoa. Okay.

You finally woke up.

You came close to death.

We had to dig you out of the rubble.

If Rukar hadn't spotted you,

you'd still be buried.

Guess you're just unlucky. The tunnel to Tamriel's been unstable for a while. But we didn't think it would actually collapse. Well, the healer did what he could to patch you back up. And the miners should have the rubble cleared before long. Until then, well, we don't have much, but you'll have to make do. There's some meat on the table if you like. Should perk you right back up. might have some spare blood down in the cellar.

I'll go check.

Yes, please give me some spare blood and from the cellar. Okay. Village of the lost. Examine the meat. Okay, that's a good quest. Uh it looks like Bejorn doesn't get teleported, so hopefully he's still hanging out in Skyrim. I do want to remove my power to summon Bejorn. Uh where was I call Bjorn? I don't want to put that on my favorites. We do get we do join up with another follower here. So read the void egg, a traditional myth of the old lands.

I'll just uh thumb through this if you all want to pause and you can read it on your own. I'm not going to read uh the books. I'll read the notes if they're short, but we will listen to all the dialogue because this is all uh this is all brand new to me.

I wouldn't eat that if I were you.

Okay, there's the doll. So, this gives me major Bloodborne vibes because you talked to you had a doll in Bloodborne that you would talk to to uh level up.

Oh, what's it? You can see me? Well, this is surprising. You're the first one who could perceive me at all. Well, since I'm not talking to myself anymore, introductions, I suppose. Call me Audrey. I'm afraid I'm not sure what my real name is.

Oh, and don't worry. Despite appearances, I don't bite. I think I might have read that name somewhere. I just liked how it sounded. H. Is that what I seem like to you? All right, then. Let's go with that. At least you can see me. Even if that's what you're seeing.

So, I guess like no one else can see this uh Audrey doll.

Not unless they're all really good at playing dumb. I've been here probably 10 years by now. Nobody's been able to see or hear me yet. At first, I thought it was something about this place corrupting the locals. But, well, every now and then, someone wanders in from outside. And other than you, none of them could perceive me either.

There must be something unique about you. How interesting. Not meat.

What's wrong with the meat?

There's a distinction. Freshly dug up from the meat mines. Regardless, I wouldn't recommend eating that. The locals here might think eating it moistens the blood, but

the meat mines. Mining meat from the meat mines.

Sound good.

To moisten moisten the blood.

Yeah, that meat does not look uh appetizing. So, somebody was screaming from down here. Go kill something.

Is she going to follow me or do I need to ask her to follow me?

You hear the scream? Not a good time to talk.

All right. Dur's basement.

The dry bloods. Yeah, I think I might want to bump the uh difficulty up one one notch.

Let's go ahead and do that. Let's see how that is. What do these dry bloods have on them? Near bile. Okay.

Where are we up to now? Where was uh Durag? Is this him? Oh man. Okay, so he died. Nothing on him. No quest item or anything.

I know some people got mad at uh Bethesda for doing what's this d desiccated bloodroot. I know some people got mad at Bethesda for doing the whole creation club and then people charging for mods, but I personally I think people should get paid for their work and

something like this that has new music and voice acting and stuff. Yeah, I mean I am so happy to just pay 10 bucks for this.

What were those

dry bloods mostly? When someone becomes reliant on the old blood, at first it strengthens them, but eventually it well, it's as the name says, once their blood is fully replaced with the old blood, it starts to dry up. The pain drives them to madness. The village guards tried to keep them out, but they're always finding new ways in. This isn't a good place to explain, and I'm really not the one who should be explaining anyway. Let's get outside. The villagers can answer your questions if they survive the dry blood attack. H

yeah, all that talk about dry blood and that that just it just screams out bloodborne to me. Don't know if there's anything else down. Oh,

apologies.

Bjorn, you joined us. Okay. Can both of them follow me? I don't know. That's kind of cool though. ing us. Might not be on this plane though.

Oops. Excuse me.

Excuse me, Bjorn.

Oh, sorry about that.

Oh, sorry.

Thank you, Bejorn. Okay. Come on, Bujorn.

Oh, my apologies.

Push you up. Okay, there you go. Uh, let's see if he has anything in his chest. He probably won't need uh this stuff because he is uh unfortunately dead.

The old lands. Here we go. Well, now when I realized I'd missed some dry bloods, I figured they'd already killed you. You're hardier than you look. Don't see Durag with you, though. Dry bloods get him. Well, I'm sure you did what you could. I'll have the healer come fetch the body. But before I do, can you spare a moment for an old man?

How can I serve?

So, this is the old hunter, Rukar.

Something you name's Rukar. I'm a hunter. Last one left around here. I help the guards protect the village, but I'm getting old.

Can't fight like I used to. closed door.

As you can see, even if you were just defending yourself, you still avenged Dor. You've got my thanks for that. If you don't mind indulging an old man, might I take a bit more of your time?

Let's move away from these corpses. I'll explain while we walk. We call this place the old lands. According to the legends of the Reach, this is where Lor first created the physical realm. For thousands of years, those who know of this realm have made pilgrimages here, seeking the old blood. The old blood is said to be the blood of Lor. The last blood he shed after he lost his heart. By ingesting the old blood, we elevate our souls, transform ourselves, becoming closer to Lor and the other spirits.

However, there is a danger to this. If one is cut off from the old blood after the transformation begins, they become a dry blood. Dry bloods lose any sense of self. They become mad, violent monsters seeking nothing but more blood. In the old times, this was rare. Dry bloods were mostly those who went back to Tamriel or who became trapped by accidents. Now, however, the old blood once flowed freely through the roots that grow all throughout the world. Of late, however, the blood has dried up.

The roots offer only a few tiny drops. Many of the villagers have already become dry bloods. The rest struggle to preserve what blood remains and must rely on meat from the mines.

Consuming the meat holds back the madness for a while, but not forever. Without a new source of old blood, everyone here will eventually succumb. Action must be taken, but none remain who can do what is needed. The villagers already struggle from the lack of blood. The gods are kept occupied fighting the dry bloods and worse. I do what I can, but I'm old. I lack the strength to do what is needed. You are a stranger here, but you clearly possess strength.

I won't ask you to commit yourself to this, but would you consider lending us your aid? If you are willing to help, I promise you a generous reward.

Well, as uh yeah, as a mercenary, uh hey, wait, hold on.

Need something? What would you need me to do? I am for hire. Sword for higher here or hammer for hire.

The roots no longer provide what we need. Either the flow of blood must resume or the influence of the blood over this village must be broken. Either way, the solution is the same. The source of the blood must be found. Cool.

In some ways, it's easier than you might think. Do you see those distant spires? That is the palace of the hollow princess. Countless ages ago, the princess founded this settlement. She brought mortals to this realm. And according to legend, she built her palace a top the source of the blood to ensure herself a limitless supply. But of course, if we could simply enter the palace, we would have done so long ago.

What's stopping you?

The gates of the palace are sealed by ancient magic. In all the ages this settlement has existed, none have breached its walls. Though it is not that the method of breaking it is unknown, simply that none here can achieve it. You see, entry to the palace required the agreement of each of the clans that once dwelled in this realm, none of whom exist any longer. Each clan was possessed of a great bell forge of pure blood iron.

Blood iron.

According to the myths, when all of the bells ring, the palace doors will open. Sadly, circumstances have rendered most of the bells out of our reach. Though not, I hope out of yours.

Where are these bells? There are five bells in total. When the founders of this village were cast out of the palace, they took three bells with them. One can be found in the village square, though sadly it has been damaged by the passage of time. I am working to repair it, but it will take time. One can be found in the church of the old blood located in the northwest of the village, though I fear the priestess may not be amidable. And one remains in the ruins of the old settlement to the east. The ruins are infested with dry bloods and worse. The guard at the gates can tell you more.

As for the fourth, it lies in the forest that surrounds the palace. But none who venture into the forest's depths have returned. Many Eldrich forces dwell there.

Servants of the hollow princess.

Eldrich forces. It's got my attention.

The exact whereabouts of that bell are unknown to me. I'm afraid the ancient legends say the bells share a connection. So perhaps once the others are rung, the fifth will reveal itself. If not, well, we can deal with that when the time comes. For now, if you're willing to attempt the journey, I would suggest ringing the three accessible bells first. That's all I ask. With luck and assuming you survive the bells before

I will have the bell here repaired by the time you succeed.

Okay, so we have to find three bells

and then this fourth bell

who knows

in the village center here we can ring that and then we'll ultimately have to find A very secret fifth bell. I wonder if Bejorn can see Audrey. Ring the bell in the church. Ring the bell in the thirsting woods. And ring the bell in the desert ruins. Uh, let's take a look at our quest log here. So, ringing the bell. To find the source of the blood, Rukar says I'll need to ring five bells throughout the old lands. The first three are located in the desert ruins, the haunted forest, and the church overlooking Dry Sands Village. Okay, what's the map of this area look like? Okay, so we have our quest there. Ring the bell in the Church of the Old Blood.

Ring the bell in the desert ruins. Ring the bell in the thirsting woods. That looks like the uh the castle of the princess. That looks like a swamp over here. And yeah. Okay, cool. I don't know if we can travel back to Skyrim. We might be trapped here until we uh complete the quest. But uh let's see which one do we want to do first. [ __ ]

I guess the uh the desert ruins. Does that sound like a

Where's the desert ruins? This one has the marking. But uh yeah, maybe we should go to the uh desert ruins first.

Church to the west, ruins to the east. Which do we hit first? What do you think of our mission here in the Old Lands?

Which one? We've got a lot going on.

They say the forest is the Hollow Princess's realm.

I don't know.

The Hollow Princess,

but there is definitely an evil aura over the whole place. We should move slowly and carefully. Don't miss any details.

Okay.

Do you really think finding the source will be enough to fix this? What if we can't restore the blood? Is it really possible to cure people's reliance on it?

That's a good question, Audrey. You're smart.

The ruins are swarming with Drumathra. We should be careful. Deathra,

does she have a weapon or anything? I wonder. Let's see here. Um,

can you hold some items for me?

What you got?

No, she has nothing. Do I have anything I can give her? Yeah, maybe the staff of fireballs. No, I should probably buy her a weapon or something. I wonder if there's a shop around here.

I got to tell you, it's really cool to be in a desert in Skyrim. That's something I never thought I would see before. Let's see what kind of shops do we have around here. Looks like a potion shop. Need something. Look out, Bjorn.

This one here,

your armor looks unusual.

It is a trophy of battle taken from slain.

Ah, the Dorothra or the the Dramathra. So,

the bent cats, Kajit wasted by the

kind of a possessed Kajit or something. Corrupted Kajit are the dramath can never be truly killed. Namira will always resurrect them eventually, but killing their mortal forms keeps the village safe for a time. This one and his brother work hard to push them back. This one keeps

Ask Maka and Mjaka offers to pay those who will help in the fight.

Oo, okay. So, Maka's got some uh some bounties.

Safe travels. Thorn Takers medicines. So, we can get potions and stuff there. There's got to be like a smithy or something around here. Okay. So, here's Majaka. So, looks like radiant quest giver, side quest giver here.

This one listens.

Can I help fight the dramata? Aha, this one was hoping you would ask.

Cool.

He is glad he read you well. Indeed, this one has many tasks he has thought of that can help him to liberate these ruins from the bent cats. And he will pay you for the service. If you are helpful enough, perhaps this one will even let you in on something special and with a special payment as well. But that is for the future. For now, let this one know whenever you wish to help. And this one will select a task from his very large pile.

This one sometimes thinks Maroons has the right idea. Many problems can be solved by breaking things such as the evil altars of the Dumatra. What do you say to destroying some yourself? Sure, I'll destroy those altars as long as the pay is good. Increase their power further.

Okay. Smash the corrupted altars through the desert. Desert delights. Not a blacksmith, but maybe they might have some weapons. Whoa. Okay, there. Who is this Crow Watcher?

Questions.

The Crow Watcher clan. It's a very small clan, mostly subservient to the larger clans. Though I'm not sure I'm still part of it, to be honest. Most of the clan joined the Forceworn. Those of us who didn't want a war with the Nords were exiled.

I feel sorry for Mikila. Living here as a vampire can't be easy,

especially when you're terrible at hiding it.

Yes, fiveclaw.

Okay, so this is the in here.

Various items. Perhaps some will be of interest.

Another

they just sell food and beds. So, I'm not playing on uh the survival mode either. Again, that just kind of gets in the way of my fun. Wow. Ah, this place looks really, really cool. These designers did a great job. The sound is good, too. The voice acting is good. Yeah, I'm I'm I'm really impressed so far. If this thing holds up, man, be $10 well spent. Okay, that's Durag's house. That's where we came from. I really need to find a smithy. I need to get Audrey a weapon cuz I'm not quite sure how she's going to be fighting.

Oh, that's the old Hunter Rukar's house. Okay, there's the bell.

Let's talk to this woman. I think this man is sorry. But if your husband has not returned yet, he is

the ark of blood sculpting.

Finish that sentence if you want to lose your teeth. My husband is a fighter. Whatever is keeping him, he can overcome it. But if matters are so dangerous, maybe you guards should go investigate.

You know that is not possible. We don't even have enough guards to properly defend the village. Sending a scout into the ruins will be suicide. Especially now. The Dumathra have grown far more active these past dozen moons. If we don't even know when to look for your husband useless. That's what you gods are. How are we supposed to keep the village armed and armored if we can't go out to gather or

You'd better hope my husband makes it back safely or you'll be fighting off the dry bloods and Dathra in your underclo.

Lessons in blood sculpting. Okay, let's talk to uh Kel Kelsra here.

Can I help you? Ah, you heard that argument, outsider.

Unfortunately, yes. Sorry. We're the village blood sculptors. He gathers the dried blood. I refine it. Then he makes it into weapons and armor.

Oh, okay. Weapons and armor here.

But he hasn't come back since he left early this morning. He was going to check out a new vein by the ruins. I'm worried about the drum math.

So maybe we have to find her husband. Her husband seems like the uh the blacksmith or the bloodsmith, I should say. And if we find him and bring him back, maybe we can buy some gear.

Many thanks, outsider. I don't know exactly where he went, but he said the new vein he found was near the walls. So, I'd try checking the village perimeter.

Watch out for the cats around the village.

They'll attack anyone who enters the ruins.

If you help my husband, we'll both be in your debt.

Yeah. All right. Anagak said he found a new vein near the walls of the village. Try searching around the outside perimeter.

Okay. So, we need to look for her husband. Uh, let's see if that's on here. Lessons in blood sculpting. Yeah, let's go ahead and do that because sounds like it might unlock this blacksmith or something. Uh, maybe I could make Audrey a weapon real quick.

I don't know if I have anything.

Try searching around the outside. No, that's for uh that's for armor.

Oh, be careful.

Yeah, I don't really have much uh I don't really have many tools or anything. I don't really have many any mats. I don't have much cuz I'm just kind of starting. So, well, maybe we can find something along the way for you to use, Audrey. But, uh, let's head out. We'll do some more talking with people a little later. So, we need to check the perimeter of the city here. The the city walls

look like that's on the outside here. It's cool that uh Bjorn joined us. I'm glad he did. I kind of like Bjorn. He's a nice He's a nice uh He's a nice fella.

Who's there?

Oh, here we go. What are these guys?

These are the Jamathra. Oh. Oh. Whoa. This guy came from behind. [groaning and screaming]

Leveled up. Nice.

Some bile. Some new moon heavy armor. Oh, that's cool. I'm specializing mostly in light armor. So maybe I'll give I'll give that to Bejorn. Maybe I can give that great sword to Audrey.

Yeah. Let's see if uh let's see if Bjornne will wear that armor. I don't know if he will vulnerable to Namira than everyone else.

Sure. Nords were built for burdens, weren't we? Whoops. Took my clothes off. What was I wearing? There we go. Wrong button. What did I want to give him? Uh, the new moon heavy armor. So, I give Oh, there we go. Gauntlets, heavy boots. Cool. All right. Hey. Yeah, you look looking sharp there.

Sure thing.

I wonder if I can give her the armor. Let's see here.

I kind of like her dress though. It kind of looks cool.

What?

Sure. What you got?

All right. First of all, let's see if she'll hold a weapon. Okay. Looks like she will. Will she change her clothes? Doesn't look like it, but I'll have her hold some.

Back to work. So, her clothes are kind of set, her outfit's set, but she can equip weapons. Okay, so that's good to know. Although, maybe she's maybe she fights better unarmed. Maybe she's got some crazy doll power or something.

Looks like a little ambush here. What's going on? Oh wow, this guy getting getting attacked here. Let's help him out. [screaming] as warm as sh of misery. Stay only attend

cool.

SHE WILL correct others will kill you. You'll be forgotten.

Oh, there's one more.

Too busy healing. There we go.

Uppercut.

That was cool.

Thanks for the rescue outsider. Expect these damn demons right up to the walls. That's it. He's just going to go back. Okay. I guess I should take all this stuff here to sell it.

My thanks for the rescue outsider. Didn't expect Gilra's concern made sure that I'm not. If you'd gotten here anyway, so those demons might have broken my guard. The only loss was me chisel. It's a family heirloom enchanted to aid in blood sculpting. One of those demons grabbed it and ran off in the chaos. I can work without it, but the quality will suffer. I'm not foolish enough to charge into the ruins after it. I'll head back to the village. You though, you're clearly a skilled warrior. If you're able to recover it, I'll grant you a special reward.

Okay, a special reward.

You said the magic words, brother.

What a pain.

So, we got to find his magical tool. It would be nice if I could sell some of this stuff, though. Maybe I'll go back and see if one of the other shops will buy this armor. are ever pushed back enough, the villagers should destroy these ruins. Namira's magic is written into every carving.
