Quotes (from this video)
- I bought wargs this weekend because of your video made them sound cool well there you go that's pretty cool I hope you have a good time building them and painting them and then playing games with them
- I swear they said we were going to get rid of this Daylight Saving Shenanigans and as everything else in the government nothing happened well nothing good at least
- I don't mind it in the fall kind of I mean other than the fact all a sudden everything gets real dark and spooky all the time but that extra hour of sleep is sort of dope but yeah then you know in the spring they they steal it from you which is a bummer
- I don't know what an ice NAD is but it sounds sounds sounds icy
- To quote kitan from Batman the Brave and the Bold Ben Franklin was a fraud
- I think there is too much weight on dice roll which removes maybe skill or for luck with the action success
- The pain of wanting to play a game my area doesn't want to play it's real y'all I'm trying old world and Middle Earth
- I'll be real Frank with you folks I haven't signed up to be in an event in a minute it's like cuz usually I'm there and I'm doing other stuff but I haven't taken a class or signed up for events or anything like that
- I literally just want you to send it to me in a cardboard box and that I can recycle easily that's literally all I want I am unimpressed completely by packaging
- the trick will be parking that bus
- Harbinger of failure
- I love when Amazon offers the minimalist packaging option for things usually a lot easier to get whatever I bought
- the Virtual Boy was the Google stadia of its day
- Companies will absolutely use the tariffs as an excuse to sneak in price increases in blame tariffs
- I think that they're very much stuck in this situation where they're like things are going well somehow inexplicably and so let's continue doing it even though there may be some writing on the wall that reducing model count would maybe get more people into the hobby which could then end up being better
- there's no benefit that's the problem with tech these days is that they're like trying to figure out how to it's like they learned how to do a thing and now they're trying to shoehorn it into stuff to make it a product
- If I could get AI to clean the toilet that'd be great
- I think machine learning AI where it's like doing a thing that saves you a whole bunch of time that's what I that's what I want more of that less of the other thing less of the the um what is it the um when you take somebody else's writing plagiarism less of the plagiarism machine and a little bit more of the saving me time machine that'd be great
- the way that you roll can be kind of also modified depending as well and then that'll tell you basically you need a seven Up is basically the case in most situations but there can be modifications and tweaks and things like that
- The the vending Hall was it was a nice space but it wasn't anywhere it was in like a kind of an odd spot and people weren't coming through much cuz they didn't sort of know where it was
- The only benefit it seems like it's something that makes sense for gaming but for everything else yeah I don't want to do business with a VR helmet on my head
- with dead zone I like painted up the the when I when dead zone 1 came out I painted up the enforcers and the plague and um it's now we're on dead zone version three and I still haven't played a game
- I was just thinking about that game recently because I remember when there was like the kickstarter was like several years ago and I hadn't heard anything about it in a while and I was like I wonder if they ever like actually fulfilled or whatever
- Cosmic frog World eaters from Dimension zero is a skirmish board game from Devious weasel games where you play as two mile tall extra planer frogs eating planets and fighting each other
- I've only managed to play one trench Crusade game with a friend and I think that there is too much weight on dice roll which removes maybe skill or for luck with the action success
- the person who's shooting at you gets to choose whether they want to use those blood markers the blood markers are not just like hey this is hit points they're almost like they're a little bit like marker lights like if you've ever played the TOA in 40K back in the day
- it is a quick game you can definitely have somebody who can just get wiped out in one shot it just happens you know
- Excessive packaging is bad.
- VR makes me sick.
- AI should be useful, not just a buzzword.
- Companies should sell STLs.
- Price increases are concerning.
- um I wasn't wowed by cyber Punk either
- any company not named Games Workshop needs to sell stls at this point or they're dead
- the price per page for the type of books that we do is going up 76%
- I don't use AI for artistic Creations I just don't even like the amount of power and energy that that takes personally
- you think GW needs to rescale the amount of models in 40K especially with the focus on competitive events
- it's unlikely that any of our titles would start losing money necessarily but we've been getting a certain amount of profit which pays for our ability to get artists and do all that kind of stuff that will dwindle drastically
- I don't know it's a good question I'm glad I don't have to make the decisions over there

- I don't go to our local game shops. I I because personally I can't stand people.
- And if GW did exactly what this man is doing, okay, this game would be alive forever.
- What I consider one of the greatest games of all time.
- And that's the thing that keeps me going because it's not it's not you're not faceless to me, okay?
- The 20s have not been very kind to me.
- If you fight hard enough if you give everything that you got and you don't quit ever. You just kind of keep keep plugging along.

Quotes (from this video)
- And they always make changes that that really make no sense whatsoever. But hey, it's YouTube.
- I'm so tired of doing auctions. Believe me.
- So, we are $1,700 short of what we need to kind of keep going.
- I want this to be the last auction. And I'll tell you why.
- I really want to try to keep going.
- I really don't know how long I can keep going. I really don't.
- When it stops feeling fun and more like work, it's probably a good time to walk away.
- How much fun I was having was ridiculous.
- But as long as you have a good time, who gives two shits?
- There's no spilled milk.
- I have been swimming upstream for the longest time.
- It's just not in me to to call quits.
- We're just going to do the best we can and that's about it.
- I just want to concentrate on content. Good, solid ideas and content.
- And I've got some things that I'm not even mentioning that I want to do that I'm really looking forward to.
- Just taking things to another level, if that makes any sense, you know.
- We're just going to do the best we can.
- I think that's the most important thing.
- I would almost get rid of the Chronicles of Crime, but when I was sick with CO and I could not sleep at night and I would stay awake all night, I would go out and paint and I painted that entire set.
- I have a real hard time trying to justify getting rid of it. Um because it was so personal painting it, you know, it's one of those things that when you when you paint something like that and you're that sick and you remember that you Oh god, I'm never going to sleep.
- I miss doing them.
- I'm thinking of of just trying and and and playing, you know, playing through the pain more or less.
- It's been a lot of role playing stuff and conquest.
- This better be like the greatest game ever in a condensed little box for 60 bucks.
- All right. So, this opens up and there's these four little boxes in here.
- This is a game and I figured this out afterwards.
- This is like an RPG that you can play very quickly with a bunch of people or by yourself.
- Is it worth 50 bucks? It's only one way to find out, right? 60 bucks, excuse me.
- I guess it's pretty popular overseas from what I read.
- I'm tired of them. They are exhausting.
- If nobody watches it, that's fine. That's fine. As long as I'm enjoying myself, I really don't give two shits. And that's the way I feel.
- I promise you that. I could promise you that.
- I figure I'd come on thank everybody. Got everything out. Everybody should be getting it.
- If this next one that I do can get me over the hump, I'm just not going to worry about anything going forward.
- It'll be a small one just to all we need to do is just raise enough to get over the hump.
- Am I going to go to an Origins? Am I going to go to a Dice Tower?
- It's become a a a convention that's more about the Dice Tower people than it is about gaming and all different events and stuff like that.
- Gen Con is such it's so big. It's so overwhelming.
- Origins is just it's it's a quaint. It's different.
- I got to talk Chris called me the other day. I gotta talk to him, see where he's going.
- I just don't have it the way I did when I was earlier, you know, middle of summer.
- I might just do Origins, keep it nice and quiet.
- I always like that one. It was always nice and quiet.
- I'm going to do something. I just don't know what.
- And then uh you know, too damn old to be going to conventions.
- I got raetball and and wrestling to do.
- I'm going to try to be live more and talk more and hopefully get some things hooked up where I can kind of show some things off more.
