I tried playing Xenoblade Chronicles 1 the Definitive Edition. I may try to go back to that one, but it is too much like playing World of Warcraft, which I don't I like World of Warcraft. Like it's but I when I play a JRPG I don't want to play World of Warcraft. I want to play a JRPG. And it's just too much like that.
I played that and I beat it three times. Yes. And then it said that's not the real ending. This is another ending. And I was like, then I started playing it and I'm like, well, I'm playing the exact same thing I played the first time through.

And I just don't I'm not that interested. This is not engaging me. You know, I'm not saying objectively that's good or bad. It's just for me wasn't doing the trick.
Like the game those games are like really really fun. Obviously I played 50 and 60 hours all the way through them. They're really fun. But like that that's a bad game to me. Like that's not worth an 8.0 on whatever website. It's like oh when I had to go and like read this because it didn't make any sense and it's like no, you they've ruined the game. Sorry.
there's not really been a good JRPG board game. There just hasn't.
And to me that's what's that's what's the most fun about most of these games. And then also telling in some cases, especially like Trails and some of the Ys games for sure, and the Eden Chronicles games, even the Dragon Quest games, telling like a you know, mildly interesting story that has some moving moments and some some loss and some gain and some happy moments and some you know, personal relationships and stuff.
The relationship part of the game was like, well which which one did you have sex with? You know, okay, that's the relationship. But in some of these other ones it's like, oh no, this is actually interesting, you know, platonic relationship that has nothing to do with sex or being, you know, intimate in any way. It's just um you know, this person was your friend.
