Mechanics (from transcript analysis)
  • Card drawing — You'll take turns drawing cards and building creatures piece by piece. You can draw one card from the deck adding it to your hand. There's no hand limit.
  • Creature ability activation — Completing creatures has two parts: first check if the creature is pure. Then, activate your creatures' abilities one at a time from head to feet.
  • Hand Management — If you really hate your hand you can cycle cards at great personal (cost). Discard any number of cards and draw one new card for every two you just discarded.
  • Monster Building — Play a body part from your hand to start or continue assembling one of your monsters. All monsters must be built from the ground up, legs first, then torso, and finally head.
  • Pure creature bonus — If all three of its parts are from the same Legion, opponents must each discard one card of that color from their hand.
  • Set Collection — You are scholars from the Dream Research Institute racing to be the first to completely assemble one, two, three, four, five fickle and horrible nightmare creatures.
