Quotes (from this video)
  • Viewer discretion is advised.
  • It's a shame I had to come to this Madame Kazoo.
  • Well, the first one to die is dead.
  • We're going to do this all day?
  • I hate blue. I hate you.
  • Can't be flipped by any means.
  • Got to love that initiative.
  • Freaking stupid rules.
  • So he can dodge out of the way if you try to flip her.
  • Yeah, yeah, cuz she sucks.
  • But read him.
  • Right. I know after comparing numbers then you flip them and he can't be flipped by any means.
  • Yeah, it just takes up so much space.
  • But, you know, the autism.
  • I love how she's on the back.
  • Can't be moved at all.
  • He's unmovable.
  • Always getting the free flip cards. Yeah. It's all right. Just completely undermines my strategy, but that's fine. It's fine. It's fine.
  • I don't know what to do about that. It's been 3 years still don't know how to figure that out.
  • What are you going to do?
  • We're going to compare numbers.
  • This boy and a fairy.
  • Oh, I think Oh, I think I moved you outside the bounds of the board.
  • There are no bounds.
  • Yeah, things start getting really hairy.
  • tight Oh. Yes, hairy. Not tight. I'm not tight.
  • Right now. Do you think it's better to be tight or loose?
  • It depends. It depends on what you're talking about. Figurative or or literal here?
  • And then what are we talking about? There's so many variables in that statement.
  • Yep, just use your imagination. Let it run wild.
  • Yes.
  • I really like that Titan. He's just It's just so nice.
  • Dang it.
  • End of the round.
  • No, weak.
  • Yeah, the good thing is is you don't like center around the actual terrain. This is kind of a starting off point.
  • Even though I guess you can play without it. You can just play no no terrain tile.
  • Aw.
  • Who? Yes, see so and that's why is cuz now it's a nine.
  • Mhm.
  • Um I know it's still a No, it's a eight. still a six. I'm just looking at it upside down. He's like a three now. Apparently, yeah.
  • Oh. Okay.
  • You kind of took what I was going to do.
  • Yeah.
  • You [ __ ] freak.
  • It wasn't too bad.
  • See, this is just This fit a robot. Now that weird map.
  • Ow.
  • We got him on the run, BOYS. THE THRONE IS OURS.
  • Oh.
  • That would be cool.
  • Yeah, the other one I got was a fool and he doesn't compare numbers and he flips one random adjacent tile. Like [ __ ] that.
  • Right. I mean unless you play some strategically. Just throw the fool in the midst. Who's the
  • So the So the theme behind this game is that you hire sellswords. Who the hell would be like, 'I want that guy, the dude in the diaper and with the shoe on his head. That's how much I'll pay for him.'
  • It's OP.
  • OP.
  • Can only flip one tile. Oh jeez, yeah.
  • Um and so let's go ahead and uh Let's go right here and then beat him.
  • Okay.
  • I'm losing side.
  • Hmm. Hmm. Hmm. Hmm. Hmm. Harumph.
  • What?
  • Wheat.
  • Boom.
  • Oops.
  • And then there's one spot left. Hopefully, I get good drawers. Good drawers, good drawers.
  • Oh, I can pick your next tile.
  • Yeah, I can only have a flip happening. Nobody else has any abilities, so I guess I'll just whoops. And flip the monk.
  • Okay, we compare. All right. I probably lost.
  • Cuz I see I always lose this game.
  • Uh yes.
  • So,
  • Cuz my back hurts hard.
  • Um Yeah, yeah, I totally lost. No way I didn't.
  • Yay. Cool.
  • Funny how willing people are to join you when they realize you're the winning side.
  • All right. So, that was that. Pyromantic MVP.
  • I know, right?
  • And my my phone's going crazy.
  • Now, we're going to just go going to transfer over to Olympus. Now,
  • we are actually on to Olympus and uh basically already we're done doing the weird draw two. It's the same game. Like it's the exact same game except different abilities.
  • So, uh
  • Now, this one will go two rounds. Um and then we'll we'll get a whole new and hand of cards for the second round and everyone everyone stays.
  • So, we'll go since you uh And it seems like everyone's like OP in this one.
  • So, since you won the uh the last the last game, uh you can start.
  • Okay. So, what's the thing here?
  • Oh, yeah. Adjacent tiles give plus one point to their controller at the end of the round. Oh, so that's something we have to keep track of?
  • Oh, at the end of the game or at the end of the round if you have an adjacent tile again extra point.
  • Like to to Mount Olympus?
  • Mhm. Oh, okay. So, it's just a potential for scoring points. Right. Right.
  • Um Oh, man. Okay.
  • Uh Yeah, and since this one is actually new, um like you kind of have to read your abilities. Uh see, that's good. These all these are actually really good.
  • That one's not bad.
  • So, it is your go. Are you sticking with red?
  • I guess I'll go blue. You'll be blue. All right, I'll be red then.
  • And this will be nice since this game is new, the cards aren't like bowed out like this one is.
  • Mhm. I actually got it in a trade.
  • And if you need to know anyone's ability, there's not as many and you know, there may be actually.
  • So, points are calculated the same. Yes, the exact same way.
  • I guess I'll start with oh, Aries, prince of war. All right, so after he battles I lose points for each chip flipped. So, I'll just have him as a strong starter.
  • After you lose one point per enemy tile it flipped. Oh, wow, okay. That is a pretty good start. Um and he is he is tough. Uh but I think I think it'll be pretty sexy to just go ahead and do that right there with the manticore.
  • And you may flip punches. Why do you have three flips?
  • And in both these games like the original and the expansion pretty much is uh I really like abilities more than I like high power. Yeah, you're going to win with high power, but abilities kind of tend to do a lot more. So, that's that's pretty much my strategy. So, that's that.
  • And no, we don't draw. Just saying that.
  • Oh, so this is it? Yeah, this is well, cuz we do two rounds and then cuz we'll have enough cards to uh uh make a 5 by 5 grid. I think.
  • So, while he decides how he wants to play, yeah, we do um should have six and then Yep, and we do the same.
  • Yep.
  • Yeah. Cool.
  • Um No, I know. I think it's I think it's really funny. I like it.
  • Aw, I didn't I didn't read that one. That one's pretty fun, cool, too. It's probably be the same be the correct color.
  • Okay, I guess I'll do mimic. And I will copy your manticore's ability. I may copy one miniature or optional ability on you know, on a tile in play.
  • Whoop. Oh. Come back over here, Ares.
  • Okay. Um Uh fine. Let's go ahead and do Alexander. Instead of battling, you may flip one enemy tile in play.
  • So, let's go ahead and get Ares back on my side. Well, that was the end of it. Now he's blocked off.
  • Actually, um yeah, right there.
  • Whoo. I was like, 'Dang it.'
  • I don't know what [ __ ] you, Ares.
  • Ah, let's do uh uh The gods are favoring me today.
  • Mhm. So, let's see. So, we don't draw at all?
  • No. No, we're stuck with what we got. Uh and then we and then we'll get a whole new hand for the second round.
  • So, yeah. Yeah, that's that's that.
  • I think like with with the the drawings, I'm pretty these people. They're so weird. Level 99 does weird things with their games. But they're awesome.
  • All right, what are you doing?
  • And I want Um ooh. Ooh. Ooh. Ooh. Ooh, I'm moist. Moist.
  • I guess I'll flip you the way I can get there. With my Minotaur. All right. So, we're going to go ahead and do But if you flip the Minotaur, he will then flip you in reverse at the end of it.
  • Oh, really?
  • Yeah. That's fine. I'm going to go right here with my Centaur. [ __ ] you, Seth. Um and then flip him and then it says you may take another turn after this one. So, let's go ahead and [ __ ] do you mean, Seth?
  • So, Free flip. Free flip. I get another turn. Yeah. Yeah, it's pretty It's pretty sweet.
  • Wait, Seth.
  • Um Uh Yeah, that'd be that'd be good later on. Uh Okay, Seth. I'm going to go ahead and do Artemis right here. Says when battling this tile, uh battles with the furthest tile in this row and column. So, let's go ahead and flip that.
  • It says I didn't place adjacent to him. No, it didn't place adjacent to this one, which I didn't do.
  • You're a mother [ __ ] Awful [ __ ]
  • Don't yell at me.
  • All right.
  • Um Yeah, that's That's pretty neat right there.
  • Yeah, let's see. That's That's a good one, too.
  • I probably could have played a little bit different, but that's fine. It's fine, dude.
  • All this since I did go again, you're going to get to go two turns in a row as well.
  • Her. You may rotate Okay. May. Yeah. Um Then, do I go again?
  • No. No. No. I'm just saying you will cuz you have more cards. Oh, wait. No. No, you don't.
  • Now, my turn to go, then your go, then I'll go. Okay. Uh The That's nice. The thing. All right. Because it's not beneficial to me. So, um we're just going to go ahead and going to go ahead and go right here. Hades does not battle when placed. Flip all adjacent tiles to this side. Um but then he gets flipped. Oh, the Alexian.
  • Oh, I got this. I guess I accept.
  • Yeah. Yeah, that's that's pretty much him. So, I don't know why they made Hades the Alexian. You would think they'd make Zeus or something like that.
  • So.
  • Oh, yeah. No, that's right. I'm red. Cuz I was blue last time.
  • Um Oh, yeah. Don't don't look at my card. You cheater. No. Don't hide it. I know.
  • Uh I guess I'll place plain old plain Jane athlete over here. Cool. Flip this kid. He's pretty neat. But you can't have pluses. Um When it battles, it only prints Oh, okay. I see. I got If I'm fighting him. Okay. So, let's go ahead and part of the conference.
  • Um yeah.
  • Blue-Eyes White Dragon So, I'm going to do Zeus uh and beat him. And then you gain one point for each ally tile adjacent to the terrain tile.
  • Mhm. You know what? I totally forgot about that. Uh Oh, [ __ ] got me there. Uh I actually forgot that that was the thing for the terrain tile.
  • Yeah. Well, I can do one more thing. Okay. Okay. So, now we're going to get points um for this one round. Let's see. Where's my 15 that I didn't get? All right. So, hopefully this is nice. I don't have to undo the whole thing. Okay. So, we'll just go this way. So, you're getting two points. Okay. I'm getting one point. You're getting one point. I'm getting two points. And then we're both getting zero. But, um You get two. I get four because Zeus Each one's worth two?
  • No, Zeus's ability is also the same as that. gain plus one point for each ally adjacent adjacent to the terrain tile. And that's So, you're going to get one point. I'm going to get four.
  • I'm going to I wonder who wins. Huh. Well, we do we we do get to do one more round. So, So, I get four points here. I'm at seven. So, then does this tally over the next round? Oh, so we continue building up this? Oh, we just tally points.
  • Yeah. Oh, okay. Yeah. Okay.
  • Um King Midas, uh Kraken, Hercules Okay. So, let's go ahead and since you played last, we're going to go um We're going to go right here with Lamia. When this tile battles, it only flips enemy tiles with no printed combat number greater than four. So, we're going to beat that one and we're going to beat this one. Your turn.
  • Huh. Well, that's nice. That's kind of cool. Not okay. Uh Yeah, and and these are these are only end of round, so I don't think the end of round abilities go on Maybe they might go on both rounds. Um Actually, let me look at what Zeus is. 50, which makes sense. Well, maybe maybe both. Yeah, they might be both rounds. I'm sorry if I don't know.
  • Okay. All right, it is your turn, good sir. Okay. Um Okay. Um I guess we'll do I guess we'll do Gryphon. Flip your Zeus.
  • Oh, you can just do that? Yeah, it just says does not battle when placed. Flip any enemy tile. Oh, it's it's the rock. Okay. It's the rock. All right. Um Uh ha ha Oh, that's that's [ __ ] great.
  • Um let's go ahead and do Hermes. Um And do How do I play this? Yeah, I think that benefits me a little bit more. Um well, does it? Let me think. Let me hold on to that one. Um and this one's [ __ ] useless. That one's useless. Uh, that's definitely useless.
  • Um, so for each adjacent tile it would be Okay. Um, we are going to go Huh, well, okay. Okay. Yeah, let's go ahead and do the nymph right there, and I'mma beat the rock, and then I can swap two adjacent tiles. Oh, okay, that must be Oh, it must be adjacent to her. That's probably not not that good then. That's probably not not that good then. So, I'm just going to leave her there. So, I'll shoot her. And then, man, okay, so placement is everything in this game, which seems obvious, but like if you're going to use your abilities effectively or your power effectively, you need to place it in the perfect spot, which is a pretty good strategy to this game. I'm going to sink there like this. We'll see. Uh, yeah.
  • Okay, do King Midas. Any adjacent tile cannot be flipped by any means. Okay. Um, Oh, okay, so that will actually protect Yeah, it protects him, but it protects the Zoops. Okay. Um, let's go ahead and do uh uh Oh, okay. Uh You get to flip him? Yes, I am. I'm about to do the muse right there. This tile is plus two to all to its combat numbers for each adjacent tile. So, that does flip that. Okay. Your turn. Okay.
  • Stupid Zeus, little [ __ ] No one even likes you. That's why we're all glad you died and gone to war. This old dude cracking with this kid as well as old King Midas.
  • Okay. Hm, hm, hm. Okay. Okay. Right now. We're going to go ahead and put Achilles right over here. Oh, yeah, it says zero. It says your opponent decides this tile's orientation. So, how do you want me to place him? Where where's he going? He's going right here. Oh, so I get to rotate him? I guess he get to decide how I place him. Um Okay. Um Okay. Um I guess um that'll work for me. Okay. So, your turn. Um hm. She's protected over there. Oh, yeah, King Midas and his dumb ass gold. Give me a trait. Chocolate rain. I don't know why I just thought of that song. Oh, I think didn't you just go like isn't it great or something? And that just made me the way you said it made me think of great. Isn't it great? I don't know why it made me think of that. Yeah, we are. Okay, so we are Okay, we are winning now. Oh, yeah. Okay, then. Yeah, it tightens up real quick like my butt hole. Yeah. Remember when I asked you if it's better to be tight or loose? It's just It's one of those things. This whole place Hercule right here. I already decided what I wanted to do. I guess so. That is perfect. Here comes part of the cards. Hermit does not battle in place. Flip all tiles in the row and column this tile is in. So unless Yeah, by any means. So we'll flip that. You just flip everybody? Oh, yes, I do. So So Yep. You know, I I just I don't It doesn't feel So this is really hoping that I just just Oh, by the way, [ __ ] you, cards. Free flipped me. I'm sorry. You're killing me, kid. Killing me with these cards, man. Just like I'm sorry. You sent such neat cards today. Oh, [ __ ] [ __ ] that one. [ __ ] the bed. This so bad. I just tile and any other tile in play. So. And who is that? Uh Oedipus. I wonder if they have um oh man, what's that? Oedipus. If Oedipus is in here. Cuz that'd be funny. Uh you do not do anything. You have to go sleep with your mother. But I already do that. They don't have Oedipus in here. That's stupid. This is stupid. It's only unrealistic. I'm dying.
  • Chub Rubain. Will you just play a card and win? I don't know what I'm going to do. Stupid. This game is stupid. I hate this game. I hate this game. Uh it's [ __ ] frightening. Morale broken.
  • All right. Um After that [ __ ] Herbie's nuke. All right. So, let's go ahead and um I just kind of want to save save this spot. So, I'm just going to go right there. Let's do that. And then here's the the points, the tile points. Those are nice. Flip this kid and I flip right back. Yeah. Yeah. All right. So, now You win. No. I No, I knew I lost the first one. He needs the satisfaction. Well, you got the satisfaction of Cell Swords.
  • All right, so we're just going to go this way. So, I'm going to get two points and you're going to get uh you're going to get one. And this one, I'm going to get one point, you're going to get two. And this one, I'm going to get two points, you're going to get zero. And this one, I'm going to get two points and you're going to get uh one. And then this one, I'm going to get two points and you're going to get one. Um now we're going this way. We'll start here. I'm going to get two points, you're going to get one. Um you're going to get two points, I'm going to get one. And this one, you're going to get two points, I'm going to get zero. And then don't worry, we'll do that. And then I'm going to get four points and you're going to get zero. And then this one, I'm going to get four points and you're going to get zero. And then points for being adjacent, I'm going to get one. Or I'm going to get three. And then you're going to get um two. Okay, high to pay. What did you get? 16. And I got three. Whatever.
